Dr. Lyon is a true expert and also one of the nicest people youll ever meet. Because he has invested in technology (optical coherence tomography) that a lot of other optometrists just dont have, one visit was all it took and he was able to refer me to exactly who my eyes needed. Jill was also super nice and helpful. This practice is a real treasure in our community.

This establishment was incredibly clean and well put together. I felt confident walking through the door knowing that good service would await. The staff is so helpful that you feel like family and are never rushed like at other places. You are truly valued by the staff there and they will go the extra mile to make your visit incredible. As far as Dr. Lyon, he is quite a talented doctor and you feel calm sitting with him. He takes time to help you understand your eyes and what he is doing and why it makes sense for you. He will ensure that no corners are left unturned to make your exam as thorough as possible. In addition, if you ever need to return they are so helpful, I had to try a different kind of contact for me as the fit of the first pair wasn’t for me, but they were all so helpful and Dr. Lyon took a same day appointment to make sure that the new pair were adequate and waited to order the contacts until I was satisfied with their fit and quality.Please feel at home with these folks knowing they will not take advantage of you, nor will they allow you to leave without having absolutely everything that you need. Let me tell you guys, I just moved here to TN and was hesitant about coming to someone new and knowing I didn’t have eye insurance. My eye exam was $45 flat! The staff is so warm and friendly. Dr. Lyon for sure reminds me Mr. Rogers. Great place to go to for a quick visit.

Dr. Lyon is awesome! He really worked with me and my eyes! Very patient and listens to the patient. I have astigmatism so in my case fitting the right contacts was a challenge. But I got amazing results! Now I can see so much better!

He is extremely thorough in the examination giving you the most accurate lens and contact prescription possible! he is a musician as well which helps with being one myself and Dr. Lyon knowing exactly what it takes to read music with a clear view! do not hesitate and make an appointment as soon as possible!

I had my first eye appt with Dr. Lyon yesterday. I was able to get in quickly for an appointment which was a huge plus. I liked that the Dr. did the before the exam room tests. He took his time getting my prescription right by tweaking several things. He was very easy to talk to and encouraging throughout the whole appointment. The cost was VERY reasonable and I feel like I got better care and more attention from the Dr. than I got from other more expensive offices. In addition, the equipment he used was the most state of the art than I had ever experienced even at more expensive offices. His personality was warm, encouraging, informative and professional. I will be going back and taking my sons in for an exam in the future.

I highly recommend Dr. Kary Lyon for your vision and eye care. I have really poor vision, astigmatism, dry eyes, and eye allergies. Because Dr. Lyon is very thorough with his exams, he helped me see better; my dry eyes, allergies, and headaches are next to nonexistent as I study for 8+ hrs for my license in contact lenses. When I was living out of state for a few years, I saw another eye doctor, who was not as thorough. In fact, Dr. Lyon had to correct the previous docs mistake when I returned. Ive been a patient of Dr. Lyon for 15+ yrs and will continue going to him.
