After nearly two years of procrastination in making our funeral arrangements and being in our early 80s, we finalized everything with Dignity Memorial through Dove-Witt Family Mortuary. The whole process was actually a most enjoyable experience and their sales representative, Teri Cain, is to be commended in every aspect. She is very knowledgeable, explained everything in detail, and her personality and demeanor captured our hearts. This mortuary is very fortunate to have a person of this caliber on their staff.

This was my first time planning a funeral service and I had no idea where to begin. Lisa, the Funeral Director, was an angel on earth. She called me on her day off when she learned my dad had passed to express her condolences. She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed from prayer cards to tribute videos, etc. I will never forget her compassion and warmth during the most difficult time in my life. Thank you Lisa!

Lisa Carter was a real pleasure to work with. Lisa provided us with guidance and information on numerous choices for arranging a beautiful service for my mother – especially during the COVID crises. My brothers, sister and I met with her in their conference room to plan the visitation, funeral service, video streaming for our relatives in Germany and for those who could not attend and the final burial service. We could not have asked for a better experience during our grief. Lisa was always available for phone calls and kept us updated on everything. I felt like I was a pest at times. She was always positive and responsive. She planned, organized, prepared and took care of every detail to ensure that we had the best service for our mother. Lisa even recorded the burial service for us.The staff were all positive and accommodating in our time of need. They took everyone’s temperature before we entered the viewing and ceremonial area to ensure our safety.I have to say that my mother looked absolutely beautiful in her casket. I have to really commend the make-up artist and Lisa for doing a wonderful job presenting her to us. I know my mom would have been very pleased at the amount of time and attention they took to treat her with the respect she deserves.I can’t say enough about Lisa though – she should be awarded for all of the time, energy and work she does in ensuring families are happy with the arrangements she makes for their loved-one’s final moments here on earth. If she responds to everyone like she responded to us, she’s a real hero at this time of need.Thanks Lisa and Dove-Witt Family Mortuary for all that you did for us!!!

The funeral director and the other staff member help me and my y family throw a rough time wich.easey our pain some.but did every think I asked of them.and still are here for my family.god blessed them .they deal with death every day.i am glad they are the people they are.god bless them all.

From the day I called and spoke with Lisa in the office she was absolutely amazing! Her words and soft voice offered me the kindness I needed during this most horrible time. Any questions or concerns were answered with the most deepest understanding. I came in to speak with Lisa, the Funeral director, and was immediately consoled and treated like family. They welcomed me and my entire family with open arms. Their loving disposition and constant understanding is something I can never describe or repay. The staff here is absolutely wonderful, and there are no words to describe the care they gave to our family when my father passed away. Taylor was the main person who worked with us, and she was phenomenal! They have a wide variety of packages to choose from to fit any personal style and financial amount. They even took care of contacting the church, priests, and deacons, so that was a great load taken off of us, since we did not have to plan any of the services ourselves. I also appreciated the fact that there were no other viewings scheduled the same time as my fathers, as this is a common practice in NJ, where I am from. Our family had alot of privacy, and there is also a large cafeteria that we were able to use to bring any food or drinks that we wanted to serve our guests. The staff provided coffee for us, which was a nice touch. There is also another lounge adjacent to the viewing room, which we were able to use. They also sent us a wonderful grief counselor to meet with us after all of the services were done. I dont remember the woman who met with us, but she was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable in teaching us how to proceed and transition in our lives after my fathers death. The entire staff was truly a blessing to us, and we will be eternally grateful for everything that they did for our family.

We had used Dove-Witt previously when my mom passed away. When my dad passed, there was no doubt we would use them again. They are very thorough, very caring, very professional in their approach. While it is a stressful situation, they certainly put you at ease. Dove-Witt took care of every detail. It was a pleasure to work with Dove-Witt. They are kind, caring, and understanding. They never pushed anything on us and respected our wishes on handling our sons body. I never once felt uncomfortable or like I did not matter. Mike, the director, worked hard to push our sons death certificate through so we could have him cremated and Georgie was kind and sweet. While I hope I never have to come back in the near future, I would happily come back to Dove-Witt.

Lisa and other staff members were wonderful. At such a difficult time they are very warm and did not try and push anything on us. Lisa was very accommodating/patient in the ordering of small Urns that my family wanted. Dove Witt also helped with my fathers service back in Jan of 95. It was a pleasure working with them.

All businesses have two operating modes; the first is the well planned and executed day to day operation.Dove Witt consistently sets high marks here. But the second mode is when despite the best plans and execution OCCASIONALLY something goes wrong. How an organization works in this second mode demonstrates the difference between a good organization and a GREAT one. Yes we had two unusual, but serious glitches in our planned services. However they were handled with quite, dignified and extraordinary care. I so appreciate the care and value shown that I am (pre) planning my next service with this Great organization.

I wish I could give more stars. They did amazing with my grandfather 7 years ago and with my grandmother in February of 2017. Mike really knows how to make the process easier and even went out of his way to surprise us with labels with my grandmothers name and picture. Over all I wish I could give dove Witt a billion stars.
