I had cataract surgery. Dr. Younger addressed my issues better than I could have hoped for. All the people in his office were wonderful and well organized which made the whole experience one of the best I have ever experienced. My surgery was so successful and I am so happy for the results.

Dr. Younger is the best eye surgeon in town. Id been searching for a right cataracts surgery docter for years.Finally friends referred him to me. Whatever they said about him is good and true. The proceture was quick and safe.Im very happy with my eyesight now. No need for eyeglasses for reading and working on my computer anymore.It was a gift to the old-age folks.Thank you Dr. Younger!

Dr. Younger is amazing. I waited 7 years to have eye surgery. I had a pterygium on my left eye that was making my eyes dry and it also wasnt nice to look at. I was apprehensive with all other doctors but Dr. Younger made me feel comfortable and confident that he was the doctor to do this surgery. He recommended that we graft the area because it has a much lower revision rate which I felt great about. It has now been 3months since the surgery. My eye has healed completely and looks good! I am sooo happy I went through with this surgery! I look more attractive and my eye isnt irritated and red like it always was before! Thanks Dr. Younger!

I was interested in getting corrective eye surgery and a friend recommended I visit Dr Younger. Orange Coast Eye Center is a clean and comfortable office and the staff are professional and friendly. Dr Younger is very knowledgeable and attentive. After my initial diagnosis, I was anxious to get the surgery performed as soon as possible. Dr Younger did not pressure me to do this. He actually recommended I hold off and have another exam performed a bit after the first exam to ensure the assessment was accurate. I was a little bummed that I wouldnt have the surgery done right away, but I was pleased to know that Dr. Younger so concerned about getting the process done in the best way possible. When I finally had the surgery performed, I was a little nervous at first, but Dr. Younger and the assistant were calming and helpful. The surgery didnt hurt, the worst part was a little bit of brain freeze caused by the cold saline used to clean the eyes. After the surgery, I recovered relatively quickly (the bandage lenses were annoying at times but mostly negligible) and was able to see without corrective lenses for the first time in 30 years. When I healed, I was released to go surfing. All of the years that Ive been surfing, I have never purposely opened my eyes underwater. I knew it could be cool and useful to be able to do that, but I knew Id lose a contact, so I never tried. Now I finally had my chance! I ducked a small wave, and against my years of ingrained practice, I opened my eyes as I went under. It was a bit blurry but I saw the green-blue of the water and the bubbles go past. And the curl of the wave breaking from underneath. It was exhilarating and revolutionary! All the money and the time spent and the extra visits to the doctor and everything were worth that one moment!
