Dr. Gandotra and her team are awesome! Dr. G has gone above and beyond making sure that my husband is getting the best care. With us being out of the area, its been a challenge, but theyve made it work for us. Its been quite the rollercoaster with all the covid restrictions, but thanks to Dr. G, my husband is getting better. Our family is greatful to Dr. G and her staff for all theyve done for us. Also, Dr. G and her staff are great at returning calls. Other doctors take days or weeks to return calls. This is huge, especially when you have somebody that needs urgent care. I would definitely recommend Dr.G to anyone in need of a good nephrologist.

It is very hard to find a doctor that truly cares about your well being and wants to help you improve your health. I have to say Dr. Gandotra is a compassionate doctor. When I first met Dr. Gandotra (Aka Dr. G), I thought she would be another doctor telling me what I have and to eat healthy, but she proved me wrong. She explained thoroughly about my condition via computer and did a little drawing so my family and I can understand better about my condition. Also, she gave me a list of what to eat and not to eat. Not a lot doctors take the time to do that.She is a beyond excellent doctor! She truly cares about you and wants to help you, but you have to meet her half way in order for your condition to improve. Also, she is very supportive of your decision and her staff are very professional! I’m grateful that I met Dr Gandotra! She has a warm heart and wants you to live a happy life, even if you have a health condition!FYI: She has the beauty and the brain! :D

My favorite part of Dr. Gandotra (Dr. G) is her willingness to be my friend before my doctor. She always greets me with a smile and a good vibe that somehow, someday my kidneys will be okay. When she tells me I have a chance at staying alive and beating this kidney disease, I completely trust her. When I doubt myself, I think of her knowledge and the training she accomplished to be a doctor of her status. When I have a question, she is quick to answer. Awesome doctor, she is been working with my dad for the past 5 years, amazing and kind heart.Very professional, she really cares for her patient as if they are family.She takes her time in the appointment and not rush to leave the room until she answers every single question.I would recommend doctor Gandotra to everyone, she is what you need.

When I was referred to Dr. G by Dr. Albert, I was told that she was an amazing doctor. From the second I came in, I knew right away that was true. She treats me very well and addresses my concerns immediately whenever I come in. When I told her about my muscle spasms, she immediately addressed it and helped me get the tests I needed so that the issue can be resolved. She is a very good doctor and is extremely thorough. I’ve been extremely happy with the care I’ve received at her office and each visit is a great experience.

I have been Dr. Gandotra’s patient for 4 months. She is a conscientious doctor. She is extremely nice and cares for patients well. After the examination, I rarely have questions because she is thorough in her explanations. She is completely reliable and I am glad to be in her care. I am much healthier because of her.

Dr. Gaytri Gandotra is very knowledgeable and very well spoken. She takes the time to fully explain kidney functions and how to improve ones condition. She has always been very kind and one of the few doctors I enjoy visiting. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Gandotra Dr. G has been my moms kidney doctor for little over a year now. I am so impressed with the care, knowledge, compassion she has for her patients. If it werent for Dr. G my mom would have not made it. I truly believe that God was watching over my mom and had somehow lead her to see Dr. G because she was having lots of swelling on her legs, face, coughing etc.. these were all symptoms of her kidneys failing because they could no longer function and filtrate. After many years going to her primary care doctor she was never told she had kidney disease or even at what stage. Thank God my mom saw Dr. G who quickly took care of my mom and gave her the utmost and professional care, her knowledge of this specialty has really saved my mom from loosing complete function of her kidneys. As a Registered Nurse and having experience with working with many physicians, I can truly and honestly say that Dr. Gandotra is a respectable physician who truly cares about her patients, she communicates well and is an expert when it comes to kidney care and management. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

Words alone cannot express how wonderful this doctor is. She has gone above and beyond for my family while caring for my mother. She is kind, compassionate and intelligent, in every aspect. If you are in need of a Nephrologist, shes your best choice.

I went to one appointment with Dr. G, and I was disappointed in my experience. First of all, the office staff was unfriendly. In fact there was a sign in the office that read, I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow is not looking good either. The office had messy piles of papers everywhere. The woman at the front desk, did not smile and she was short with me when I tried to tell her information about my insurance. I was taken back to a room where a very nice man took my blood pressure (he gets the extra star). Dr. Gandotra came in and needed to be reminded why she saw me in the hospital. Dr. Gandotra explained my condition, but used words like pee-pee instead of urine. She kept flipping back and forth in a book of diagrams to explain my condition, but she seemed unprepared. In the restroom, there was a tray of containers to collect urine samples, and the tray was very dusty. The bathroom was quite dirty as well. Cleanliness in a doctors office is important, and it speaks to how the doctor runs her practice. For all these reasons, I wont be coming back to her office.

What can I say.. wow!! I came to see Dr. G for the first time in July 2016. She had been recommended by a family member and now I know why. She explained complicated medical concepts to me in a language that I could understand. She was very thorough and even drew some quick diagrams that showed me how the kidneys work on a visual level so I could understand the problem better. She also warned me about the effects of high blood pressure and diabetes (I had no idea those things affected your kidneys too), and gave me some tips about how to change my lifestyle to help. Most of all though, it really struck me how personable and kind she was during our conversations. You can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients. :) Definitely recommend!

After being prescribed high blood pressure medication for over two years from another doctor....I followed her advise and was able to get off the high blood pressure medication within 2 weeks Yay!!!Thank you Dr. GandotraHappy & healthy!Tina L

Dr. Gandotra is an intelligent, very polite, kind person. She seems to honestly care about her patients. And to know her trade. She read my records, examined me, explained very thoroughly her findings and made sure I understood. I could not have asked for more or better care. My rating speaks for itself.

I just got my medical records, from June 2008 thru the end of 2008, sent to me yesterday. Recall I lost all of my hair in 1 single day? I asked the Diagnostic Group please check my head. How did I go from thick shoulder length hair to baldness in 1 day? Afterwards for 2 years my scalp was inflamed and in constant agony while hiding from society. I referred myself to an ENT Doctor who ordered scans that found a mass over my hypothalamus in February 2009. It caused intermittent hydrocephalus and falling for my entire life to the point to when I had it removed by a genius Neurologist, Dr Foltz, He invented the Laparoscopic Craniotomy with 15 minute recovery time. It was an emergency in 2010 because the mass grew so large that I was in danger of it causing my potential blindness because it was in my frontal lobe/vein (in my brain) and made my brain rested on my the back of my eyes, pushing them forward causing me to fall more often while I intermittently lost the use of my legs, and seeing flashing lights after I drank water. Yeah the Doctors pretended there was nothing they could do because the tumor was congenital an unknown/unresolvable case by the head of NeuroSurgery, he didnt know and refused to refer me to anyone that would try. I investigated Neurosurgeons and I sent my records to Dr. Foltz the first Friday in January 2010. I got a call the next Monday for me to get to Dr. Fultz, the next Monday. He did not think I had Thyroid issues because I had large protruding eyes.He had experienced over 5000 cases/surgeries with my same issue. The same tumor in the same area . I imagined when his first case came back with normal Thyroid results after observing protruding eyes, he investigated further and found a tumor pushing on the eyes and invented the low invasive procedure instead of insulting them out of the office.My hair grew back after 2 years of baldness at an incredible thickness and an astronomical length and speed after my Brain Surgery in 2010. It touches my seat while I sit I cut off 6 inches a year for 8 years now. I havent fallen once since the surgery (when I fell monthly from age 10 to to age 44). With the relief of the intermittent hydrocephalus, that it caused, I got my hearing back on the recovery table(I lost it at age 4 after my first airplane trip , I didnt know how to relieve my ear pressure.) I only realized that I could hear out of my left ear during recovery after I asked the surgical team why they were yelling at me instead of me normally asking them to please speak up.My story is a serious issue in helping patients. I had seen over 10 different Neurologists in my life , until I found Dr Foltz. He was the only confident Neurologist that didnt insult me after my thyroid/blood tests came back normal and I always passed the physical Neurological test. He didnt strongly assert himself to tell me that we dont care that you lost all of your hair in 24 hours nothing is wrong with you! Instead he said it I definitely knew how to stand on 1 foot and touch my nose and walk in a straight line plus he saw me walk in. He didnt think that I needed to remove 30 pounds of skin, left from gastric bypass, in order to put me on my stomach so he can dig out the tumor from the back of my head, where the tumor was in my frontal lobe). He didnt think I grew too fast or tall thus causing falling during childhood while growing to the height of 6. He didnt think I never learned how to walk properly.He definitely thought the hair loss with the flashing lights and with the falling all together equalled a neurological problem.The hair loss was caused by extreme retention/swelling of my scalp from the hydrocephalus, the base of my brain often had a dull ache and wasnt draining the CS fluid. The hydrocephalus cupped my brain to the inside of blocked my hearing from my left ear. Doctors before Dr. Foltz all said they had no clue in the lieu of insulting me with the aforementioned comments to the point to make me leave with no follow up or referral and only prayer that lead me to Dr. Foltz.

Doctor Gandotra is an excellent physician. She has an abundance of knowledge She specializes in nephrology and internal medicine. She has helped me with my symptomsand has always been very kind and attentive. I highly recommend her.Michael Knott

What I liked most from Dr. Gaytri Gandotra is that she explains the benefits and necessity of the meds she prescribes. Shes a very young doctor who listens to suggestions and gives her patients the close monitoring they needed regarding their health needs.
