Nathalie, Yobana, Ivan, Diego, Nathan are ALL EXCELLENT employees. They all go above and beyond to assist members with a friendly attitude. They are really on top of keeping the club clean too which is really important and nice.Nathalies willingness to answer my questions over the phone is what led to me becoming a member. No question was too big or small, and she kept asking if I had any additional questions. She is a wonderful ambassador for Planet Fitness. Ivan was very thorough and friendly when I came in to sign up the next day. Happy to be meeting my fitness goals in a safety, friendly environment.

I’ve visited the gym 3 times now. And have struggled to find the weights I needed for my workouts. Low and behold in the 30 minute workout room there were kettle bells, and 5 weight plates of different weights.As I walked out of the gym I let the staff know that there were kettlebells and weight plates in the room.He just looked at me and mumbled something. I fully expect to be on the hunt for barbells, kettle bells and plates the next time I workout.The gym is clean I wished the staff would remind the customers to take the weights when done or maybe the staff could do it.

I started going there a few weeks ago, and I love it. The equipment is great. I love the free weights, the huge selection of innovative exercise machines, the showers are decent, plenty of locker room and storage space. I love the HydraMassage beds, and they have tanning booths, massage chairs that people love, and another booth for all over body stimulation; I havent tried that one out yet. I love the 30 minute workout room. It has great machines that I use at the end of my workouts. And they have a great selection of cardio machines. I cant wait to work out with a trainer and do some classes. That should be pretty sweet 🧁

Yurianna is such an amazing employee and she does not disappoint giving out customer service, as Im working I notice that she is always refilling the paper dispensors and hand sanatizers. She also does a great job greeting and saying goodbye to every customer. More types of employees like her will create a friendly and fun work out environment.

Everything was good except mold in the shower.Showers need complete cleaning and inspected again.

Theres always a cardio machine available. I love going between 11am to 3pm during the week, is always empty.💪

I recently got a gym membership ship to this location. No complains on the inside of the gym. Very clean and friendly staff. The bad experience I had while at planet fitness was my car window was smashed while I was inside working out. When I came out I walked back in hoping they can show me the security cameras to see who did it. They said to come back tomorrow to speak with manager. I came back the next day, the manager said he didn’t have access to them himself. So pretty much no help. What’s the point of having the cameras if there not going to be used when something like this happens outside there gym. I’m pretty sure if it was the managers car or a staff they would want to find out who damaged there property.

And an awesome place to get some studying done. Business 101: The customers always right.Never stop learning.

Good place to grab something for lunch or any time of the day and dont forget the coffee.

Planet Fitness will introduce you to a new world a world where fitness becomes your planet! Coming here is easy but leaving is hard specially when your going hard on those free weights and bench press. This gym is not for everyone hence [muscle heads] because the equipment will be maxed out by your standards of heavy lifting. For fitness and training this place does the job, if you dont mine being amongst regular people, young or old, chubby or fit then this gym will be just fine. 3 stars because some of the equipment can use some tlc! 💪

I arrived at 7:00 a.m. on June 9th and waited outside with about 20 people. It was past 7:20 and half of the people left because NO body opened. No flyer/posting/announcement was displayed explaining the reason

I love the place because its always clean and well maintained! The staff there are super and the atmosphere is alive and happy! What more could I ask for? Glad to have gone to this place where the staff really know how to treat their members!

During the beginning of the pandemic, months ago, tried to cancel membership over the phone multiple times because the gym was physically closed. Was told my account was cancelled and I can sign a cancelation contract through email or come in when they open. They said they would not charge my account. No follow up email and guess what, the first month they reopen I was charged $40 renewal fee with a $10 monthly fee and an extra $10 in taxes? Went into the gym tried canceling again. Denied refund. Myself and I am sure all others were charged for half of the year when they were closed. I had to wait in line behind many customers canceling. I was there 1 hour waiting to cancel my account. I canceled anyway. Looked as if they werent even abiding by laws set due to COVID. No social distancing, masks were half way off peoples faces and no cleaning. Was here for 2 years. Very dirty gym, not cleaned by staff. Staff is rude and not helpful. Do yourself a favor and go to 24 hour, at least staff is not rude and they clean there machines.

Im excited to share how much I love Planet Fitness. I opted for the Black Card (premium) membership which gives me access to any location, tanning beds and hydro massage beds. No annual contract required and theyre open 24/7 at select locations. Clean and well maintained facilities, and lots of equipment so theres never a wait. Plans start at $10 a month.Best gym Ive ever joined!!! 😃In response to the owner, I suggest you put out containers and encourage recycling... Part of the commitment to a greener Earth as stated on your hand dryers.

I know we are in a pandemic! I got charged 10$ for the month of March and the gym was closed! I got a new charge 40$ today for my yearly subscription but hey guess what I did not receive a year worth of the gym experience! Do not give anyone your CC info they will abuse the power!

I cancel my subscription by letter back in May, and they charge me for annual fees and for last month, i came to see why and they said they never receive my letter and in top of that i gonna get charge for one more mouth, i havent use or come to the gym in 6+ mouths, i try to explain the situation, and the person that i was talking was upset and with really bad attitude, i guess after you decide to cancel your subscription the Nice and friendly customer service dosent apply anymore. I can understand your gym policies ,but i cant understand bad and rude customer service.

Clean, organized, a lot of workout machines but over half is treadmills and less than a quarter of the gym is free weights and only 3 squat machines(assisted). more of a feel good gym, not a bodybuilding gym. bathrooms and lockers are kind of small but clean(expected). also has a spa so thats a plus but no juice bar or protein snacks. just a cooler with gatorade, water, and muscle milk

I have always enjoyed this gym until now!!! They decide to have a promotion for kids 15 -18. They are free for the month!! All though I think it is great that they are promoting health, they need to walk around and teach these kids gym etiquette!!! The machines are for working out not to just sit on, You need to wipe your machine down when your done and this is NOT social hour. Come to work out not stand around and visit!!! I am paying to work out it is pretty annoying feeling like I’m in a high school gym! They have 0 respect!

I moved to Fountain Valley not to long ago and this location is closest to me. Ive been here twice and YES all the reviews about rude employees and how dirty the gym is kept is very TRUE! And it smells bad! Im going to give it one more chance now that they have opened again. .Maybe now because of the COVID-19 they will take cleaning and sanitizing more serious!! BTY..all the responses by the Supposably ownerafter you give a review , is not really the owner.Businesses have someone checking for reviews and respond depending on your revew! That is why you dont see any improvement after you have complained. The respond is there just to make themselves look like they care!!! If I dont see a change for the better I will cancel my membership and go with 24 hr.fitness .It may be a little more expensive but my health and wellbeing is worth it!!

This is the worst, nastiest, beat down, broke down Planet Fitness I have ever been to. The machines are always dirty and smell bad. Stair master machines are always broken. Workers just hanging around instead of making themselves useful.I travel a lot for work and actually enjoy working out at any PF that’s around. I’m usually so impressed by the look, quality of machines and helpfulness of the staff. This location is literally a block from where I live which is the only reason I come here. This PF makes me feel embarrassed to say my gym is Planet Fitness. Whenever I tell people, it’s always in the hope that they don’t know this specific location. Sad....

First day getting my membership here. Workout was good but the restrooms/locker rooms are a mess, shampoo dispensaries are empty (had to call the front desk while in the shower to let them know about this and they took their sweet time to over).Should of paid that extra money and stayed with 24 Hour Fitness.

The staff is really friendly and always recognizes me when I come in! Everything is clean and machines work great! I even appreciate the fresh flowers in the womens bathroom :)

I came in today 04/15/18 pretty much already decided that I was going to sign up for the 1 year membership. I asked the guy behind the desk to be able to try the place since it was my first time using planet fitness. He said that they do not do that even though I was pretty sure I had read somewhere on their web site that they did offer that.I then asked if I could take a look around and he said that I couldnt do that either. I asked if he could show me around and he said that he could not do that either since he was the only one there.So I looked around as much as I could from the front desk area and was about to sign up for the 1 year when he says that I could pay for a day pass for $20 and that would be applied toward the membership if signed up.Now remember, I was pretty much to get the 1 year membership right there. But with them offering to apply the day pass fee, I had nothing to lose (or at least I thought).So I pay the $20, do my work out, and then on the way out, stop by the front desk to go ahead and get the 1 year membership. The guy I talked to earlier gave my information to another employee to complete the sign up process.I show her the receipt and she finishes. I then ask her at the end if the $20 comes off the first two payments and she said that it only covers from today to the billing date of 04/17/18. I explained to her that the other guy told me that it would apply to the membership and she just shrugged and said sorry.So I go home and of course find it clearly marked on their website that the first workout is free. It is large letters right on the main page for Planet Fitness Fountain Valley (ENJOY A FREE WORK OUT ON US! SPEND A DAY ON OUR PLANET. FREE!)I go home and the whole thing just bothers me all day because they have now lied to me twice. It was my first impression of this company. So I go ahead and call the location and ask to speak to a manager and an employee named Caesar says he is a manager. I explain the entire story and he tells me that the $20 covers only the start up fee. I explain that the start up fee is only $5 and he basically tells me that there is nothing that he can do. Now think about this. He is a manager of a gym and can not even adjust a $15 fee.So I might not be able to get my $15 but at least I can let everyone else know about their practices.You know, it is only $15 but it is really irritating when businesses allow their employees to just make up any kind of nonsense and there is absolutely no consequences for doing this. It seems like a really bad way to do your business and make a few extra dollars.As a funny side note, when I called the number to the gym the first time, I got their voice mail probably because they were on the phone and it said the mail box was full and could not accept anymore messages. You make your own opinion but everything about this place seems to be about poor customer service.

The gym is great straight to the point for the best for your bucks . Alex was understanding in cancelling my membership because it was not good timing for me ( work ). But I will be back since it’s really no hassle .

The trainer can give you a great workout plan! Its been working for me and its free.

Nice facility to go and do your quick workout and come out without any hassles. My only issue is the the torso twist machine near the chest support area smells from all the sweats on it. Needs to be cleaned on a more regular basis.

First time at a different planet fitness and I WONT be returning to this one! The space was larger and there was a lot of machines thats the only reason I gave this review two stars, but I ended up only using one machine anyway.I am a black card member so with the black card I can bring a guest. I brought my friend, they required a picture to be taken which didnt happen at my home planet fitness. They also asked for her phone number, again his did not happen at the other one with my other friend I took. After our workout I went and looked in the black member area, one of the hydro machines was broken. So we were going to settle for the massage chair. I went to the front desk and was ignored for a minute while the two employees finished a quick chat. I asked for two coins for the massage chair. The girl employee asked if it was for myself and I said yes, she then proceeded to tell me that the chairs were only for the members and that they could only give me one coin. This is completely opposite at the planet fitness I go to as the last guest I brought we both used the massage chair and I tried the hydro massager and got an extra coin for my guest!The experience at this planet fitness was ridiculous and very disappointing.

The worst place you ever go to. The staff is incompetent and give me false information. I thought they are friendly and helpful for my first experience at the gym but i never received any help or service. I said I needed monthly membership, not annual. I only needed the gym for two months not a year. Yet it charged me monthly for two times and annual at the same time with no refund when cancel. This is the worst. They took the money, saying it is not their errors. They said I signed but I never got the documents. Screw it!

Live this gym, its right in back of Coffee Bean and adjacent to El Super. The people are nice, the amenities are superb and yhe price for membership is incredible! They offer tanning and massage tables that are free with your deluxe membership which is only $21.99 a month.

Definitely recommend. Nice and clean location. People work out hard here (vs some PFs where people seem kind of lazy sitting around). Definitely recommend. They have 12 minute abs area which is nice. Starbucks across the street is convenient too.

Good luck trying to cancel the membership. I recently moved and couldnt cancel my membership over the phone. It was an inconvenience to drive 50 miles each way to the store to cancel.

It is a nice gym. Values of privacy is honored, they have a locked changed room, curtained shower room and no nakedness!!! Awesome! Only problem is weight area is always crowded. They keep it clean and the patrons are also good, I never see anyone loitering. I do not give 5 stars because there is barely a space to walk from front desk area to the change room, full of equipment and people are exercising and you have to watch very carefully when you walk out/in.

Clean & they only allow a certain amt of people in the gym at one time. Usually a line to get in after 6pm.

Go at your own risk. My car was broken into right on site and of course nobody saw or heard anything. AND when I cancelled because I didnt feel safe they charged me $58 cancellation fee.

This is the worst planet fitness of all planet fitness’s. Their staff is truly incompetent including the district manager, and tell you wrong information and then blame it on you and say there’s nothing they can do to help you. They will take your money and have no problem with it. Don’t go here and avoid it at all costs if you want a good experience. Literally go anywhere else.

GET TO WORK. WE DONT NEED 2 OF YOU AT THE FRONT VERY OFTEN AT ALL!! FULL CLEANING, SWEEPING OF BATHROOMS AND LOCKERS IS MANDATORY SEVERAL TIMES THROUGH OUT THE DAY! Management please train your staff on how to properly clean so I dont have to contact corporate over and over and over again because I will.

Good conditioned equipment in general, friendly staff; sometimes equipment is broken and it takes time before they are fixed. Limited showers so sometimes you have to wait for one to open. No pool if that’s what you like to do. For the price, it is a good deal.

Terrible! Broken old equipment and unfriendly staff. In addition to this when I tried to cancel my membership they claimed they never got my letter and so I had to cancel the direct debit because they kept taking money from my account. Then they started taking money from my debit card and I had to cancel my card and get a new one. Absolute nightmare! Theres a reason why its cheap. The facilities and service reflect that and they end up getting more money than they should get in the end.

Place is clean. Machines well kept. Its full of lunks. They never sound the alarm.

If you like to lift weights and get into shape this isnt the place. There are hardly any weights and never enough to go around. Infact they dont believe in transformation or getting fit! If you like to lift heavy they will give you a hard time. There isnt even a bench press! Not to mention the staff lets thier friends have first dibs on all machines. I also dont like that you cant get any service for your account over the phone or other locations or email!!!

Its a nice place to go if youre able to be extremely creative with your workout sessions... There are a TON of treadmills, stationary bicycles, and machines... however there are not enough free weights by FAR. Every time I go in I have to scrounge a bench and free weights. There are a ton of people that visit this gym to use free weights specifically, so I think it would benefit PFs clientele greatly to decrease the # of treadmills and increase the amount of square footage dedicated to free weights.I usually have to wait 5-10 minutes to catch a bench and start my sessions.There are very rarely any people in a section of the gym thats dedicated to a pre-designed 30-minute cycle.Do not go to this gym if youre experienced or know what youre doing. Itll just be frustrating. The gym is perfect for me just based on how close I live to it. Would never have signed up if that wasnt the case. Great gym for casual gym goers!

Honestly worst customer service ever. They couldn’t even do something simple as giving me another copy of my key pass. Thought by having ALL ACCESS pass meant that I would also have my gym pass reprinted at a different location. Just going to cancel my pass and go to 24.

The staff is super nice. There were two girls on duty when we got there. We travel around a lot and go to many planet fitness places. We usually go in to use the restroom before we pack our duffle bags and start the workout. These workers were great to wave us in the second time. The stretching and PF360 area isnt as spacious as most other locations but I believe its because they really spread out all areas. The building is more of a square so I guess who could blame them. I usually stick to free weights and a variety of exercises that dont require the machines. It wasnt very packed when we went which was around 10am to 12pm. It wasnt crowded where I worked out. They had big showers and hair dryers. They only had one changing room designated for handicapped. When I got out of the shower it was in use so I just used one of the bathroom stalls. (Not a big deal.) The shower curtains where super nice too cause the covered everything and stuck to the walls real nice. Some places have sucky curtains. But overall just what I needed in a gym.

It’s nasty but it gets worse but as I am learning that don’t go expecting a clean shower past 9am when you go to p.f

Had to walk past everyone working out to get to the lockers.. No straight path, had to wind through the machines with my 3 bags because I was going out after the gym and took everything with me to shower and get ready with. Hit some guy in the back on accident with my bag and that caused me to drop my other bag where tons hair stuff fell out. Disaster. Not happy with staff, rude and bitchy girl at front desk. Glad this isnt by my home.

The best planet fitness is not here, its in El Monte. El monte location closely mirrors chuze fitness which is the best fitness club so far. Will be back to chuze soon.

Be smart its 2016 Apply online on the comfort of your home, this place gets full of applicants. Allot of machines and good staff, my first day I was attended within seconds after signing up online.
