I went to a chiropractor that I dealt with in the past, but did not feel significant better. I had a second appointment cancelled and needed to find someone to help alleviate the pain in my lower back. I found Dr. Nguyen on a referral website on kp.org and I have never looked back. She not only identified the actual issue, but after the first treatment had significant relief. Very informative and easy to talk to.

OC Live Active Chiropractic was a great decision on my part. Ive been having minor back pains and havent been able to sleep. I went a few days ago and wanted to wait a few days before writing a review.Trust me when I say this, Dr. Nguyen did not disappoint. It started off with her greeting me and asking me questions regarding my back issue. She gave some recommendations and was thorough with how she addressed my problems and offered solutions.When Dr. Nguyen started with my back treatment, I was surprised with how much pressure she can apply and it was great. She tells me that if its too much then let her know.I already recommended a few people with aches and pains her way, and now Im tell you as well, reader. She does not disappoint!

Dr. Nguyen is amazing! She was recommended to me by my friend who was treated by her at UCI. I have back and neck problems so I was looking for a good place to get treatment.Overall shes full of good information and can offer helpful advice on the issues of whats going on with your body. I loved that she followed up with me on my treatment the next day too. I thought that was very kind and professional.Plus her prices are unbeatable. It was only $40 for my visit during the soft opening!

Dr. Nguyen provides exceptional service and has all the qualities you can ask for in a doctor. Making an appointment is easy, her office is clean, and there is a private lot for parking. She is very thorough with your medical background history and I didn’t feel rushed during my visit. I’ve been putting off seeing a chiropractor but Dr. Nguyen put me at ease. I highly recommend having your adjustments done here. After my appointment I felt that I regained mobility. I’ll definitely be back!

I had never had my back adjusted before and was nervous it would be painful. Luckily I had nothing to worry about, Dr. Nguyen adjusted my back and neck. I have more mobility feel so much better now. I will definitely be coming back and recommend to anyone looking for a good chiropractor at an accessible price.

Everything about this place was great.Very quick and easy for first time patients. Dr. Nguyen greeted me and took me in right away. First time I didnt ever have to wait for a doctor...the BEST part about this place was that she genuinely cares for her patients. She isnt a typical rack em and crack em chiropractor. She took time asking me questions and treating me. I was actually shocked that for a small girl she was pretty strong and she was able to adjust me easy. I was hesitant at first but she is actually really good. And she only charges $40 But she said it was a new patient special for her grand opening.

OMG. Where to even begin with my experience here.In scheduling my first appointment, Dr Nguyen gave me her personal cell phone number to contact her. If thats not a sign of an amazing doctor, i dont know what is. She spoke with me on the phone for like 30min just listening to prior experiences at chiropractors offices and she assured me that my experience was going to be a little different, but if I was open to it to come and see for myself.Upon arrival, I was immediately seen by Dr. Nguyen. I love that her office only has 2 adjusting tables so you know that your time is valued here.(She is by appointment, so definitely dont walk in and expect to be seen.) When i sat down to do my initial assessment, I really appreciate that Dr Nguyen really took the time to get to know my medical history. She definitely asked me all the questions about my health and well-being, beyond what most chiropractors would ask. She also explained why she she went so in depth, so that I loved that she took the time to explain all of that for me.When it was time for my adjustment, she did an assessment on my spine and realized that my neck and shoulders were very, very tense, so she did some soft tissue work before adjusting my upper back (it was my first time!). I truly believe that changed it for me. I had been adjusted before without the soft tissue work and I always felt like I still had tension in my back. When she adjusted my hips, I had known from previous experience that one leg was slightly longer than the other, so I mentioned that, and she confirmed that it was true, and adjusted accordingly. When it came time to my neck, I did tense up (as I normally do) so she quickly assessed that she needed to distract me so she could adjust and get the release. I like that she did that, as I feel that my tensing up is what causes that post-adjustment I need to crack my neck still feeling I used to always get.Overall, even if I dont live in the OC, I would spend the 45-60 minutes on the 405 so that I know I am getting the best adjustment. I definitely look forward to my future visits!!

I was so lucky to be able to come in for the March deal but definitely will be a continuing customer. She’s really strong for a female doctor her size and was honestly really impressed. I had a lot of neck pain from weightlifting and studying and just being on my two feet as a full time grad student but after two sessions with her my neck and back feel great. She did a lot of muscle work on me and I was sore the next day but a few days later it got better than before. Her prices are much less than the other doctors close by and she takes my insurance anthem blue cross blue shield which is a double win. I appreciate that she even up on me the next day which no doctor nor chiropractor has done for me before. Thank you Dr. Nguyen! I’ll be back 😊

Francesca is a true professional. I have gone in for visits for a little over a month now. I schedule to see her once a week for chronic lower back and neck pain. As a professor at UCI, I am constantly having to sit for extended periods of time for research and meetings. Francescas expertise and deep knowledge has shown me how to better take care of my body given the demands of my work. Every time I leave her office I feel better. Over the course of my treatment, It has become clear to me that I should have visited much sooner. I wasted so much of my time and money at other offices without being treated effectively.Relatedly, Francesca treats her patients with great care and attention. I feel like I have someone who is actually personally invested in my recovery.Other notes: Her office is relaxing and is located in an incredibly convenient location with ample parking. After my last visit I was able to take a nice (painfree!) walk around the close-by Mile Square Regional Park.

Such an awesome experience!This was my first time going to a chiropractor but I’ve had neck and back pain for years. I never even thought about going to a chiropractor but I’m SO glad I did.The office is small but very nice. I filled in my paperwork before coming in and Dr. Nguyen went over all the information. When filling out the forms, I wasn’t sure why so much info was needed but it made sense once she went over every form. She asked me many questions about my medical history and was able to diagnose why these problems might occur (for example: I get migraines sometimes and she helped me figure out what might trigger it and how to prevent it). I loved that she was accessing my well-being as a whole.When it came to the adjustment, she was able to identify everything I needed instantly. The soft tissue work was amazing. It felt so good. But the actually adjustments were the best! I always get so surprised by how much my back cracks and I felt so relieved afterwards. She even explained to me what causes it to crack! It was informative and felt amazing. Once it was done, I felt so light and not as tense/tight as I usually feel.She even gave me exercises and stretches to do to help relieve some pain, which I look forward to doing in the future!I DEFINITELY would recommend going to OC Live Active!

PSA, if you are in pain, need alignment, have no clue why your energy levels are low, you should see this new DR over here! She is honest and thorough with her approach, as it should be. Drink lots of water before ya go or she will set you straight, literally! Humor aside, went in for shoulder pain and left pain free! Next visit is already scheduled!
