My experiences with doctors have always been a hit or miss which is why I prefer to ask friends for referrals. When I had pain in my hip shooting down my thigh, I saw Dr. Choi as a last minute cry for help since it didnt go away after 1 month and began to limit my activities. The first visit with Dr. Choi was mainly a consultation to determine what can be done for me under her care. I was relieved to hear that her recommended treatment would help my problem but there is always the slight chance that it wont go away completely.However, I noticed immediate pain relief during the first session that made me hopeful and confident. I started to see her twice a week and for about 2 months. Not only did she treat me but she also continuously advised me on how to take care of my body to prevent the pain from happening again. If youre wondering what my insurance is, I have PPO. My understanding is that she will also take HMO but through a referral by your primary doctor. My mom has Kaiser and I am going to take her to see Dr. Choi for lower back pain relief and acupuncture.One of the things that sets Dr. Choi apart from many other chiropractic doctors is that she is extremely passionate in what she does and continues to educate herself to stay up to date with her practice. This means that she is a wealth of knowledge and has so much to share with each of her patient. I am an advocate of eastern and western medicine (to a certain extent) and love that she is a licensed Accupuncturist as well. Additionally, Dr. Choi has an amazing staff who makes you feel like a friend that cares about your progress. She has been such a blessing in my life!

I cant say anymore about Dr Choi, a chiropractor & an acupuncturist, she has been so helpful and very understanding of what my body is going through. I have never been comfortable going to a chiropractor, let alone an acupuncturist, but she made me comfortable the very 1st day I came for my 1st visit. I had a very debilitating back pain, where at times its so bad that it affects my legs. I would be in constant pain, but Dr Choi reassured me that acupuncture will help relive my pain. I came 2X a week for about a month, then once a week for another month. I now believe wholeheartedly that acupuncture therapy can help and/or relieve or even heal anything our body is going through.I would get backaches once in awhile, but it has now been a year & I cant believe my low back pain is gone for good. Dr Choi has helped me & my family for any health & wellness issues. From body aches & pains, to helping us with stress & illnesses. We always feel so much better after leaving her office. We always refer friends & other families to see Dr Choi. I must be honest it will be different for some people, others can get better faster, while others it may take additional visits.Dr Choi also provides acupuncture & chiropractic therapy for younger people & kids.
