I love Dr Snell she delivered all 4 of my kids which range from 14 years old to 3 years old. I hope to use her in the future if I ever decide on having another one, till then I will be using her for my woman checkups. She is the sweetest Dr ever and she always takes good care of me, I know I’m always in good hands.

When I entered the office, the front in lady ! asked me to leave the office because not allow children in the office, very rude, and asked me to leave my small children of 9 years and 6 years in the car or outside the office alone since they did not allow children it was very rude. I dont go back to that office anymore. I understand that because of the covid but that is never asked a patient to leave small children in a car knowing how dangerous it is to leave small children alone in a car or out of the office

This review has taken me almost a year to write because of how painful my experience was. This was my first pregnancy. I had to wait until I was 10 weeks along to see her for my first appointment and although this may be normal for some offices, I’ve learned to be a better advocate for myself. Here’s why: I went into the appointment and had a wonderful first impression of Snell-Hargrove, she was friendly, made me feel comfortable, etc. She preformed the doppler, couldn’t find the heartbeat, then did ultrasound which confirmed no heartbeat. Snell-Hargrove told me to “stay positive” and left the room. I was left alone (Covid restrictions-my husband was not allowed to be there). No support, no information given, not even an Im sorry. I was told by the nurse that I would need to come in the next day for a blood draw to confirm my hormone levels were dropping. The blood draw was done and then I had to call to follow up, they didnt reach out to me. Still left with many unanswered questions, I called back, and they gave me the option to make another appointment to ask questions. A week later, at the appointment, Snell-Hargrove entered the room and says hows your bleeding? (not quite the way one should address a woman having a miscarriage). I actually had not started the process of naturally miscarrying yet, which was concerning to me. She dismissed it and told me it would be like a heavy period. Fast forward a week, after 7 hours of excruciating pain, and 3 failed attempts to reach someone using her EMERGENCY LINE, I ended up in the ER with a subchorionic hemorrhage. Luckily, I was able to get the care I needed and deserved at the hospital. The point I would like make to any prospective patients is: I felt like I was no longer her patient when she found out I was miscarrying. The entire trip to the ER could have been avoided if I had felt prepared, informed, and was given pain meds. The entire experience was downright neglectful on their part. Thispost is long, but if it even saves one person from going through what I went through, its worth it.

Dana Snell-Hargrove was HIGHLY recommended to us, by someone we loved very dearly, she has delivered 2 of our children, and I will always be grateful for that.That being said, my wife and I are currently expecting #3.We had to wait until my wife was 15 weeks to be seen for the First appointment. MY wife had to sit in the lobby for 2+ hours, waiting to be called back because the doctor was Running Behind. Not once did the receptionist give an update, nor did they have the courtesy to call my wife to let her know to come in later to be seen. My wife took off work to be at the appointment, and had to return, so she asked the receptionist on how long it would be, and she was unable to give an answer. When my wife stated she would probably have to schedule another appointment, they said it would be another 3 WEEKS until she could be seen.How the office thinks it would be acceptable to have any pregnant woman be seen for the first time at 18 WEEKS is an absolute outrage, and is a gross negligence to their patients.Another thing, I am a very involved father. Were talking, never miss an appointment, take full FMLA every child to spend with my family, involved.Well, at Dana Snell-Hargroves office, I am unable to go to any appointments. INCLUDING SONOGRAMS and other milestone events.That for us is absolutely unacceptable, and for this reason alone, is why we are leaving.Final thing, so my wife has thankfully found another Dr, but unfortunately, due to her now being 18 WEEKS, they have to have the documentation from Snells office that my wife was seen, before we can get an appointment. The new Doctors office has been attempting to get my wifes medical records since last Friday, and my wife called Snells front office staff to find out what is taking so long and their response:Dr. Snell has signed off for the release of information, but we legally have 2 weeks to send it over, so we are working on it.IF THE OFFICE TAKE 2 WEEKS TO GET THE DOCUMENTATION TO THE NEW DRS OFFICE MY WIFE WILL BE 20 WEEKS PREGNANT.That is absolutely unacceptable.Sorry for the long review, but I hope it helps all you new Mommies and Daddies make a good decision on who you want to use.

I left this practice because of the front dest lady. She just seem bothered by patients. On The day I decided to finally leave the practice I was coming for my appointment and realised that I had forgotten my mask. I stood at the door and told her from a distance that I forgot mymask, and asked if they had any for patients with her very bothered (almost disgusted)look she told me that I need to pay ten dollars for a mask or she can not let me in. I didnt want to pay 10 dollars just for a mask and I realised that I had my sons little sweater that I could wrap around my mouth and nose. When I came in with the sweater, she still told me that I could not come in without a mask. Since my mouth and nose were well covered I though I was safe and wasnt putting anyone at risk for covid.I told her right there that I was no longer their patient and I left.I wish Dr Snell knew how these ladies are acting very bothered with her patients

She delivered both my babies and was so excited to go back to see her! I spent the whole month waiting in the appointment and afterwards they wont call me back! Office staff is a joke so I have to find another doctor… again!

She is very passionate and purposeful in her pursuit to provide you the best care as a woman and options for you and your baby that are in your best interest in maintaining optimal health and wellbeing on the otherside of your care. 100% satisfied with my experience here. Dr Snell-Hargrove was extremely patient with me my entire pregnancy. With Covid-19 going on she made sure my health was a priority. She always stayed in front of any of my problems and actually listened to any concerns I had. I will be going to her with future children and would recommend any and everyone to go with Dr Dana Snell-Hargrove. AMAZING!!!!

Absolute worst care ever. The doctor herself is good, but is more focused on child birth vs other conditions. She doesn’t follow up with concerning issues that require follow up, like after a is procedure done. My primary care provider and I both separately requested my results be sent over, they never were eve after signing two releases. Her colleagues in the area apparently do not think this is good practice. Her staff are unpleasant; either not helpful in answering basic questions or resolving issues that do not require an appointment. I’m told to make an appointment to ask a basic question. The staff refer you to the doctor on most basic issues, who is busy and doesn’t call back. Obviously its all about control and money but where is the customer service? That should be a priority.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and have not seen the doctor yet won’t see me until I’m 10 weeks! And lately I been having severe morning sickness gone to the ER twice and they keep telling me to follow up with the my obgy so I keep calling them and there front desk office is so rude and disrespectful they are no help ! I highly recommend not coming here !

Horrible experience. My first pregnancy unfortunately ended with a miscarriage. I would never recommend anyone to her. I bled from Dec. - May and kept being told i was fine. I kept calling her office and all they kept saying your blood levels are fine no so there is nothing wrong. I repeatedly called and asked if i could have an ultrasound and finally got one done, not by the Dr. herself some assistant, they said all was normal. I finally got the courage to go to another doctor and was told i needed to have an emergency DNC a piece of my baby was still in there. HORRIBLE Experience, i felt like her staff and her didn’t care.

I should had listen to the bad reviews. She does not care how you feel and did not treat me in timely to help avoid miscarriage. I was already in high risk and due to covid hours and being closed on Friday did not help either. Please dont go with her if you have a high risk pregnancy.

Just called to make appointment. Was put on hold for 15 minutes. They got back on the line said “I cannot hear you” and immediately hung up. I understand they are busy but this was so rude. Give me 1 second to move into a better place to speak with you. I am not a client but was hoping to start with this practice. Will be looking elsewhere now.

Dr Snell-Hargrove is phenomenal! She has been caring for me for over 20 years and I would never trust anyone else with my care. When you think of physicians these days you very rarely think of bedside side manner. Well, Dr. Snell-Hargrove sets that standard of care extremely high, even during this time of pandemic. If I could give her 100 stars I would. Thats just how awesome of a doctor she is. Thank you just doesnt seem to be enough. I love My OBGYN!!!

I had my first visit with Dr. Snell and can immediately tell shes a great doctor. How? Because she fills in all the information instead of having the nurse do it and then having to repeat yourself all over again. More doctors need to switch to this. Its better patient care. She was very gentle and no pain at all. She wasnt trying to push any drugs and was very helpful with all my questions. Took adequate time to answer my questions. Beautiful clean office and tons of magazines.Overall Ive found my new OBGYN.

I always dread going to my yearly well woman check up. I’ve been to 2 different doctors in the past two years because I find them to be cold or uninterested.My experience with Dr. Snell was completely different. I felt like she was actually listening to my concerns and gave me some tips on what do when my husband and I start trying to conceive. I felt like I was talking to a good friend, which made me feel at ease. I didn’t feel like just another patient. Instead, I felt truly valued.I will definitely keep going to Dr. Snell and look forward to using her as my OB when the time comes!

I started seeing Dr Snell in 2009 and feel blessed to have such a genuine, caring, and educated OB/GYN. Dr Snell has had the same staff for as long as I can remember so Ive come to know them all over the years and I trust and respect everybody in this office.If youre looking for someone who genuinely cares about the health of you and (if youre pregnant) the health of your baby then this is the place for you. Dr Snell had her baby around the same time I did so although she wasnt able to deliver her for me she still came to the hospital to check on me and meet my daughter. I just love her!

Ive seen Dr.Snell-Hargrove for almost 10 years. Shes delivered both of my children and I would not ever go anywhere else. Shes kind and welcoming and also has a sense of humor. Ive not ever had an issue with other staff. Everyone is wonderful and youre not left sitting in the waiting area for an hour or so like most doctors offices. I highly recommend her!!

Dr. Snell is one of the best physicians I have ever met. She is friendly, funny, compassionate, calm and confident. She was wonderful through a tough pregnancy and delivered my baby last year. She agreed to see me right away when I encountered a complication and even managed to have an MFM physician see me the same day! She always managed to calm my anxieties. When I was worried about my delivery, she told me dont worry; leave it up to me and trust me! I really did trust her. She came to visit me in the middle of the night during my induction and was present for the entire 3 hr delivery process once I started pushing. Her office staff is also wonderful. From front office to the girls in the back, everyone makes you feel welcome. I highly highly recommend Dr. Snell and her office.

Dana delivered both of my babies and shes wonderful! The staff treats you like a friend and the wait can get kind of long, but the overall care is great and her new office is awesome. I highly recommend this doctor. She also has photos of my babies on her wall, love it!

Dr. Snell is absolutely amazing and deserves 5,000 stars. I’m terrified of doctors/hospitals and pain so I was really scared to deliver my child. From the moment I met her she was so sweet but also firm with me which is exactly what I needed. She was able to convince me to get my blood drawn and all the regular check up work I needed. She calmed me down with every anxiety and fear I had. She has a great sense of humor too! My pregnancy was pretty much normal until I had terrible stomach pain and went to the hospital. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia and Snell met me there and assured me that she’s going to take care of me. I was so scared throughout everything and she really made me feel like she was my family. She was there almost everyday checking on me and making sure I was taken care of. When my blood pressure got to high she told me it was time for the baby to come. I was really scared and she held my hands and told me that we got this and to trust her. I did 100% trust her. She held me while I was getting the spinal and told me I was doing great. She safely delivered my baby. I ended up having postpartum HELLP syndrome and she was there again everyday taking care of me and putting me on the right medications to regulate my blood pressure. She really cares about her patients. The wait time to see her can be long sometimes but in my opinion it’s completely worth it to see Dr. Snell. She loves her job. She truly cares about people. I would always have a list of questions at every appointment and she would always answer every single one and even ask me if I had any more questions when I was done, even if she was crazy busy. She literally goes the extra mile. I could honestly write a whole paper about how awesome she is! Definitely the best OB/GYN ever!!!

Too much to put. But, its taken two and a half years to review here, after unsuccessfully trying to press legal charges on this OB/GYN because this state protects doctors really well. This doctors office was my care for my third child, and, as a result of my delivery I cannot have any more children safely. In addition to staying at ICU 5 days from going septic and being filled with my urine, there were also regular check up appointments where my husband and I felt uncomfortable and judged. Also, I have a relative who experienced her own nightmare(s) with Snell-Hargrove, and has her own uncomfortable experiences. We didnt even know we had the same Doctor until my relative came to visit me in ICU (result from delivery) - my relative switched to another Doctor that week. She delivered her baby safely and everyone was healthy. Thankfully she will have a positive outcome moving forward with her family.

Got there for our scheduled appointment early. Waited for an hour and a half and was then told they would not see us and to come back another time. We explained that we took time off work and showed up on time for the appointment and they responded, “I don’t know what to tell you.”Highly recommend you look elsewhere if your schedule isn’t flexible enough to allow for last second cancellations.

Be very careful of this doctor! She made us do a genetic testing without warning us about the large costs associated with it. Once we got the huge bill, her staff claimed they have no responsibility warning patients about it. When I discussed this with my new doctor, he notified me that the testing she send us for should be done after you are pregnant, not before like she send us. Very disappointed!

Dr. Snell is amazing, she has been my doctor since 2004 and she is the only doctor I will see. She delivered 4 of my kids. She is super sweet and is great at what she do!!

Updated review: This office has gone completely down. The Dr is still... ok... but the support staff is horrible. The Dr is sweet but seems to always be in a rush now. The staff is horrible about followup. I had to constantly call back for results. I also paid for FMLA papers I never received. Office Manager is very rude and incompetent. On a Wednesday, I requested a release of records, in which she said she would do that shortly. We had an appointment with another OBGYN on Monday, 5 days later. Records were not there. When my wife called to inquire, the rude office lady at the front desk said it would take 2 weeks. She admitted to saying she would get to it shortly-and went on to say that that means 2 weeks. sheeeeeesh and annoying.Besides all that-a few months ago, they ordered the wrong sonogram for us. Again annoying and incompetent.In this day and age, you can find a much more reliable team.

She delivered my daughter almost 2 yrs ago and I’m back again for my second time there was a bit of a wait cause she’s the bomb and more and more people are finding out about her but I wouldn’t go to any other OB. She’s amazing, makes me feel very comfortable!

6 years ago dr Dana snell delivered my baby boy. I wish she was in Houston. I have never been able find a doctor as good as her. She truly is the best and spends a lot of time with you. She does not believe in invasive procedures.

They shouldn’t say that they are accepting new patients when they are not. I got a referral for them and the receptionist told me they are accepting new patients and that she would call me back to schedule an appointment which is already weird, why wouldn’t she just make an appointment then?She took down my information on a Monday and by Wednesday hadn’t heard back. I called back and left a voicemail and it’s now Thursday and still haven’t heard from them. Very frustrating. Would look somewhere else for an OB, very unprofessional.

Dr.Snell is amazing she took care of me during both of my pregnancies and when I had complications during my second delivery she coached me through it and got my baby out safe. I heart her!

I ABSOLUTLE LOVEEEEEEEEEEE DR. SNELL!! I have been going to her since 2015 and I wouldnt change her for anything.

If I could give Dr. Snell more than 5 stars, I would. Im a first time mom and had done all of my research to find a doctor that would fit into my desired birth plan. I came across Dr. Snell and she had all of these great reviews about how comfortable everyone was with her. She answered all of my questions honestly and gave me reasons why she would do something one way and not the other instead of just telling me that this is the way she does it, and then let my husband and I make an informed decision on our own.My pregnancy was great, until it wasnt... I was in my 28th week and my blood pressure was elevated, but not a huge concern. She did the 24 hour urine test to be safe and everything looked relatively normal. At week 31, I saw spots in my vision and lost vision in one eye altogether and called her, since she had told me to look out for that. She calmly told me that I should go to the hospital, just in case, which was nice because I didnt want to panic. Unfortunately my BP was off the charts when I got to labor and delivery. Dr. Snell came into the hospital at 10pm to layout what the plan was (max my pregnancy could go was 34 weeks. Would be earlier if they couldnt get my BP under control). She comforted me while I cried and held my hands and assured me she was going to do her best to have me make it to 34 weeks. I made it 31 weeks and 4 days. I had to have an emergency c section, which was absolutely against everything I wanted in my birth plan. Again, she assured me this was what we needed to do and hugged me and held my hands while I was getting my spinal block.I healed wonderfully and she is always asking about my baby, who is still in the NICU. I have never had a doctor with that great of a bed side manner. Even my husband who normally doesnt have much to say about things like this said we are DEFINITELY coming back to see her for our next baby, even though we live east of Denton now, shes worth the drive! Weve even recommended her to several friends who had terrible OBGYN experiences. You can really tell that Dr. Snell truly cares about the well being of her patients, both emotionally and physically.

Have nothing but amazing things to say about dr snell and her staff. She always went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The hospital she deliveres at is amazing as well. From the facility to the nurses... 10/10 would reccomend to everyone!!

She is a absolutely wonderful ob gyn and I hope to use her again since Im pregnant again.
