No pressuring tactics toward their preferred insurance/finance plans like I’ve experienced at Mint and My Dentist!Dr Luk gave me options to meet my goals. He was informative and helpful. Candy, who cleaned my teeth was friendly and especially focused on my comfort. Again, just glad to have found this professional and friendly office!

I am scared of dentists but they go out of their way to make you comfortable. Dr Cheng is the best. All staff are personable and you are their top priority.

I woke up in severe tooth pain and my normal office was closed so i called about 4 or 5 different offices and this place was the only one willing and able to squeeze me into their busy schedule, the office staff were extremely polite and efficient. The process was smooth and advanced from the painless xray machine to the thorough explanation of the scans and what they saw going on, from walking in and out i think the whole thing took less than 30 minutes, i was amazed. The dentist i saw was incredible he explained everything in an easy to understand way, he explained his reasoning for the diagnosis, and even took into consideration my previous dental history. I felt very listed to and comfortable in their care despite being in pain and being in a new office. Ultimately he came up with a treatment plan that is already yielding results, without just jumping to removing any teeth. He was genuinely interested in treatment the problem and honest about how the tooth in question look fine on scans, Ive know dentist in the past that just want to pull teeth in the back and be done with it and wont listen, the change to being listened to was refreshing. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a fast, efficient and kind hearted place of service. Id also like to thank any staff who may read this for being so open with taking me in during this situation just out of the blue i already feel loads better ^.^

I had my cleaning done. It was fast and efficient.

The staff is super helpful and Dr. Luck is very thorough. I was given several different options for treatment. The dental hygienist is very personable. When appointments are made you call when you arrive and are seen right away! I highly recommend this dental office!

I got my Invisalign here and completed the process a few months ago. Overall, the outcomes were good but could have been better. Front desk staff are friendly and responsive to emails/phone calls. Dont have much positives to say about the dentist or hygienist.

Ive gone here for over 10 years with Dr. Cheng as my dentist and have been more than happy with all my care. Dr. Cheng doesnt push for crowns when they are uneccesary and hell say well keep an eye on problem areas and encourage me to take care of them well so we can try to avoid feelings. I also usually get to have the same hygienist, Candy, and she as well as Dr. Cheng is always friendly and considerate.

Go to this office if you are only looking for people being nice. The ladies are kind. I have met with Dr. Cheng twice and he’s pretty nice I have gotten to speak with Dr. Luk by phone and he’s very compassionate. However, there was an issue with the office by whomever verifies the insurance and we ended up with a $200 bill for a deductible for the office being out of network. The office claims they have not seen our insurance before so they did not know. We have Cigna for our dental. I find it hard to believe that our family are the only ones in Fort Worth with this insurance. Even if this were the case the office should have looked into it more to get the correct benefit information so we could had been made aware of this deductible. We tried to get the bill waived since the office claims they did not know and have not seen our insurance before (because they’re supposed to notify patients prior to seeing them about any costs out of pocket) and they said it had to be paid. I was going to have thousands of work done by Dr. Cheng. They probably figured we would not return anyways so might as well charge us to get some money out of us. We paid the bill and now I’m leaving this review.

After moving 1,000 miles away from Virginia to Fort Worth, I had a dental emergency. Dr. Luk and his staff have been amazingly professional, yet personable at a time that I was extremely worried and a little scared. I didnt have to wait long at all and the care and comfort I received was above and beyond what I could have ever expected. From explaining any procedures that were to be done, to the follow through to check on my well being, I have to say that they are now my permanent, new dental office. I would highly recommend them ( the office staff, the hygienists, the assistants, and the dentists) to anyone!

My appointment this morning went well, but at the point of flossing, it seemed the hygienist began to rush. The floss popped past the teeth into the gums in a much less gentle manner than my previous hygienist. Good care, just not as gentle.

Going to the dentist was not my favorite thing to do, but the staff is so super sweet and helpful. The doctors are very down to earth and so friendly. They never keep me waiting. I moved to Ft Worth this summer and, luckily, my sister had told me about this great dentist - lucky because last night I was startled when a crown suddenly came off! So I began my day by trying to get an appointment. When I called to explain the problem (and my nervousness about dentists), the staff were able to get me an appointment today. They all follow safety protocols for the virus and everyone was great! I’m always nervous at dentists (I’ve had several bad ones in the past) but was really pleased with the dentist and all the staff. I highly recommend this dental office!

I have recently had a few intense procedures done at Hulen Dental by Dr. Luk and his team. Root canals, 3 extractions, some bone graphs, to be specific, and more! I had not been to a dentist in at least 10 years. I explained that I was fearful of dentist and had some previous terrible situations that kept me from getting the dental care I desperately needed. Hulen Dental has been warm, empathetic, competant and beyond since the word, go.From setting appointments, to working with insurance claims and payments to Dr. Luk sitting, explaining procedures, taking it as slow as I needed to go. I cannot speak well enough about my experience with Dr. Luk and every single employee I cross paths with at Hulen Dental. I am truly grateful.

I research for a living. U.T.J.D. 1977. So when my dentist (Dr. Baird) retired, I searched hard to find the best dentist. Now I see DR. CHENG, and have been very happy. As an aside, if you need a TAPS anti-snoring device, Dr. Cheng was on Dr. Thornton’s short list (the “T” in TAPS).

I have been a patient here for 17 years. All the staff are professional and kind. Dr Stoval was my dentist till he retired. Lauren is my hygienist and I love her. She is wonderful.

I have always been afraid to go to the dentist. To the point I have literally pulled my own teeth ! Never again I have found my dentist and hygentis both incredible !The hygentis was first to make me feel relaxed and by the time the Doctor came in was in as good of mood as I could get ! The Doctor continue to make me feel vary comfortable and relax explain in detail my options and my visit was incredible experience . I will be returning for more much needed dental work!!!

I came in today, without an appointment and in incredible pain. Dr. Gregory Luk and his staff were very welcoming and nurturing throughout my whole time I was in the office. The office is conveniently located, the office environment has a modern/vintage victorian decor. The staff are well trained and the dental equipment is effective and up to date. I have known Dr. Stovall for years and have been going to him for as long as I can remember! Everyone at that office is so nice from the receptionists, to the hygienists, to Dr. Stovall himself. I go about once a year and despite how much time passes between visits he always asks questions about my life and remembers even the smallest details. I always feel welcomed and comfortable. Johnny Cheng is an excellent dentist, friendly and caring, and he has a wonderful staff who is helpful and competent. He is conservative in his approach, and has integrity in that he does not try to sell you on procedures that you dont need, like some dentists do to pad their profits. He stands behind his work, and explains everything very clearly. They have excellent technology and all the work I have had done there: crowns, cavities, exams, cleanings, has been first rate. Highly recommended.

COVID-19 precautions were comforting.

I was in a panic and crying because I lost a bottom tooth and did not know what I was going to do! I had not been to the dentist in quite a long time because of the expense of dental work. I did a google search and found Hulen Dental. Something just told me they are the ones I needed to call. I called and they worked me in at the last minute, stayed late for me and Dr. Luk who is a GOD SEND even made me a temporary bottom tooth until I could pursue other longer term options. He and his staff went out of their way to calm me and assure me that they would help me and would do their best for me in every way possible. I am so blessed and will be eternally grateful for what they have done and I will continue to go to Hulen Dental in the future. They have restored my faith that there are still compassionate people in this world that care about what they do and how they impact others. Thank you Dr. Luk and your caring staff from the bottom of my heart!

Dr. Tijerina did a great job on my dental extraction. I was super nervous and he made me feel comfortable. He likes to laugh a lot, and this also helped me feel at ease. Great dentist with a great bedside manner.

Dr. Stovall, Lauren, Leslie and all the team members are the absolute best. I have been a patient since 1979. My regular 6 month visits are worth the 75 miles I now drive to keep my appointments.
