Very great place, many glasses to choose from and the ladies are very helpful in choosing the right pair of glasses. I love it there.

My mom and i have gone here every year to get a new pair of glasses. We went here a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately won’t be going back ever again. At first, they had texted us that my pair was ready, so i went and when i tried them on i couldn’t see out of one eye, but the lady at the front desk did help out a lot in getting my right prescription ready for me. A couple days later they called and said they were ready again and that my moms pair was ready as well. I brought them home and my mom and i could both see out of them, but the next day, one of my moms lens had fallen out. Today, November 17th my mom went back to go get them fixed. She felt if as she was discriminized from a hispanic girl who talked spanish working there. (Mind you my mom asked for someone who spoke spanish because she doesn’t speak english.)She stated that she had taken her temperature and asked for her to sit OUTSIDE vision works in the seats in the middle of the mall as she worked to fixed her glasses, meanwhile an african american lady, husband and kids all walked into vision works WITHOUT taking their temperature as well as them touching all sorts of glasses in the store. My mom did tell the girl something and didn’t want to report anything, but this behavior is not acceptable. The girls excuse was that “she can’t be in control of everything.” Just because my mom does not speak spanish doesn’t mean she’s any less of a person. Also, EVERYONE should be having their tempature taken before walking in the store during this pandemic.

Went in 15 minutes until close, which is plenty of time to fix what I needed. No one was in the store, so it’s not like they had to stay late or anything. My glasses unhinged where a screw met, the screw was still in place, it just needed to be taken out and put back in to hinge the piece back together. So simple that even I who has no knowledge of fixing glasses, knew what to do. Went in, was met by a super condescending lady, saying oh no they’re broken, they have to be replaced. She barely looked at them. Then she had the audacity to try to smush my glasses back together. My raybans, being squished back together, so much that my ear piece is now bent, like nothing. Like they aren’t a $300 pair of frames. Said she’d call me the next day to let me know more, didn’t call. You could tell she just wanted to leave. I too work in retail, I know no one wants to stay past close, but what I needed done would’ve taken five minutes at most, when they had 15 minutes left in the store. Came to my place of work, a major cell phone carrier with technicians that fix phones in store, and a tech fixed them in two minutes. Exactly what I needed, but I spend all my money at Visionworks and they couldn’t even give me the time of day because they wanted to get out of there. So, you need a simple screw taken out and put back in? Go to a cell phone store cause apparently they can’t do it here. Completely unhappy, with how much money we spend on frames, lenses, exams, my glasses should be able to get a little tune up, when they were obviously not broken at all.

Candy was extremely amazing when entering the store. We needed same day glasses and unfortunately they didn’t have anyone to cut them in her store. Candy contacted another store and was able to save the day. Truly above and beyond to provide for the customer. Thank you Candy!

Went to purchase a pair of glasses from Visionworks at the Hulen Mall today. I got a new prescription from the optometrist but I still liked my existing old frames. Asking one associate if they still made the same frame and we looked but they apparently did not. I continued to look for a different frame when Candy asked if she could help me. Told her my story and she took the initiative to call the supplier and ordered the same frames for me! WOW! I was impressed! Next I decided to get some sunglasses too and I was struggling to find a pair I liked. Candy went and found a pair that she thought might look good. WOW again! They were perfect. Finally Candy helped me with the purchase and did a great job. I could not be happier. Her customer service was the BEST!! Great job!!A happy customer!

Once they returned he insured the fit was right and adjusted accordingly. He extended excellent customer service and exceeded my experience beyond any other eyewear store i had visited. I drive an hour back if i have any concerns because of the great customer service.

Adrian is phenomenal. I scratched my lens while a vacation. He had to endure 5 phone calls to the rudest employee I’ve encountered at the Visionworks at Barton Creek Mall in Austin, Texas. Adrian made a simple request that took 5 phones, numerous wrong information sent, and getting hung up by the Austin store employee. Adrian has the patience of a Kindergartner teacher after sugar filled treat day on the final day of school. Thanks for your great Adrian.

Paula was awesome!!! I had a issue from another company that prevented me from using my benefits, Paula called my insurance and resolved the issue. Do NOT do business here!Last summer I found myself in a bind needing one hour glasses, and Visionworks was the only shop in the area that would accept my insurance.Upon walking into the shop I was overwhelmed with the level of disorganization with the staff. I happened to get a manager to help me with my order and he was the only person who seemed knowledgeable and caring. He made my glasses in the time that I needed and added an anti-glare covering to the lenses.When I stopped back in to pick up my order the staff that was there was glib and trite, they openly ignored me and went on to complain about their jobs in front of me.Over the past few months I have noticed that on my left lens the anti-glare cover has started to bubble up directly in the center of my line of vision. I finally called today to ask about having it repaired and was informed that it can be replaced but I would need to pay in full to do so. I asked the rep why it is that I would need to pay for a repair on an issue that is not fault of my own, but due to a defective product. She let me know that she would speak with her manager and return my call shortly.To her credit she did follow through and call me back, but at this point she told me that her manager explained that the item would have to be fully replaced at my expense. She then offered me a 25% discount on a bill that would ultimately be $195.Their website talks about integrity and quality and I have found neither of those to be attributes in this business.I will never use their services again.

Ordering was a great experience - Vinessa was patient and very helpful. Picking my glasses up was a totally different experience - the woman that gave me my glasses was rude and condescending. She rushed me so much that Im unhappy with the fit and I didnt even get to buy the cleaning things I wanted.

Bought my glasses here a little over a year ago. Frames broke about two months and Candy helped with a temporary repair until I could get new ones. Forward to today, Candy again helped with replacement frames that I just realized would be covered under my insurance. She found two colors in stock of the exact frame I had broken. I choose one pair and she was able to change the lenses to the new frames and bill the insurance and I left happy with no cost to me. Great service as always from Candy. Thank you.
