Thank you first off for the years of wonderful service to your community. So many people have fed their family here. I can even remember when I was a kid going here to get some delicious locally made cookies. Hopefully this place will continue to be able with our help in giving and donating.

Due to the fact that this is a free food pantry, for struggling people, there doing a great service for the community, all you need is an ID & Proof of residency, anyones welcome there...

Fresh Meat & vegtables and Extras. They really got two things together here: help taking care of the hungry & needy, and its a beautiful place and inviting. The coworkers are nice as well...give you fresh food and vegetables.and in such a time of need. zthey are to be CONGRATULATED for their SERVICE to the people of this city

Theyll give you eggs every week and theyre nice people who try to be helpful. They dont give a lot of stuff, but the stuff they give always seems to be of good quality.

Very generous food-bank. The volunteers are very polite and helpful! You need a drivers license or state-issued ID card to receive food.

Without Miss Virginias hundreds of people would go hungry! Ive been going here for over 20 years. The staff are all volunteers who truly care.

They give out free food, but some of it is more than what you can use, like 4 bags of tomatoes. Many of them went bad before we could use them.

Great place to serve people less fortunate

Love these people. Too bad that quite a few people who go here to get food are rude, racist, drunk, obnoxious, driving new escalades, wearing new leather coats and got their Bluetooth in their ears. Greedy people suck.

In support of indigent population a handout of meat vegetables and can goods to combat hunger.

I was very disappointed today when i arrived at Miss Virginias. I arrived 5 minutes to one oclock. I was told by the gentleman manning the porch that my baby, friend and I were not able to get food due to not arriving in time. When I pointed out that it was not one oclock yet, the gentleman told me that if he were to let us in line, he could be there until 3pm and that I should come back the following day. Incidentally, once a person reaches the porch, the wait is less than 15 minutes.It was a cruel thing for him to say and do because what the gentleman apparently doesnt realize is #1: the price of gas. #2: The effort it took to even get there before one and #3: how much my family depends on that bit of food for the week.As a result, my family will have to skip a meal this week. The $5 it took to even get me there has been wasted. We cant afford food, let alone the extravagance of gas.His smug attitude was demeaning. If it is that much of a trial to volunteer to feed the hungry people of fort wayne, maybe the gentleman shouldnt be doing it. Maybe they should change the sign to read be here 15 minutes before the closing time of 1 pm or you get no food

Miss Virginias hands out food from 10am to 1pm every Tuesday and Wednesday. You are only allowed to go once a week though and you must show your ID every time you go!!!!

You can go every week, unlike most area for banks where can only go once per month. Long lines though. Plan to arrive one hour before they open.
