Health Food Shoppe is one of my favorite places in Fort Wayne. The staff is lovely, they support Local Artists/Businesses, their deli food is delicious and they always have vegan options that are amazing. Its just so good. A Fort Wayne gem for sure.

The store is always clean and all of the associates are always asking if you need any assistance in locating anything. And their prices are very reasonable as I have to get a enzyme which is about $75 at the other health food store. Its only $56 at the store

Good place to get vitamins, herbs and supplements. There is always the someone there to give you advice about what to use. They also carry many different grocery items. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and organized.

Not super-sized, but right-sized: the Health Food Shoppe is well planned and stocked with organic fresh produce, dairy, canned, dry, and cooking items, clean meats (frozen), even safe/natural personal care and cleaning supplies. Perfect for anyone with special dietary requirements or sensitivities. Plus, the staff is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The Health Food Shoppe also carries an excellent selection of supplements and vitamins. A customer can do their weekly shopping here, and find some nice extras, too.

Everyday they have a fabulous salad bar and the balsamic chicken is delicious. Plus sandwiches and salads in the refrigerator case. And drinks. This Shoppe has a family feel with personalized customer service and I appreciate how they, unlike most grocery stores, are eco and health conscious. One of the only places in town you can grind not just coffee grounds...but PEANUTS too! Finally, freshly ground real peanut butter; without hydrogenated oil, salt, nor any other fillers/stabilizers.UPDATE: 08/04/2018Today went to purchase some freshly ground peanut butter...and discovered a new item located behind the salad bar; Flavored Carbonated Iced Tea.Blueberry is seemingly always offered and today also Pomegranate is being made available...both are delicious and the self-served samples are free!The Health Food Shop is also promoting life beyond the cup...by offering beautiful decanters to fill and bring home... I love not just like this! They are reusable and most of people will probably want to collect them (like reusable Mason jars)...so get them while they last!🍶👍

So I’m literally just pulling out of this place. I live a street over and was excited to have this place in my neighborhood opposed to driving all the way to Freshtyme. When I say they have followed me each time I’ve been in their establishment. Despite having a rewards account today was the last straw. My husband went in today to grab butter, broccoli and spring water and they followed him down each aisle. I’m not sure if the employees are unaware that not all people with melanin steal and yes we do eat healthy also. I will be discussing this more on my Podcast today and shining the light on having people that look like me owning these types of places so our people can shop comfortably!!!

( vegan chocolate chip 😍) They have a great assortment of food in the store & I always leave with something. Oh & they have essential oils, glycerine soaps, lotions & hair products, toothpaste, home cleaners & more here -all safer than you’ll find in any other grocery store & higher quality. I have been a long time Three Rivers shopper and completely missed this gem in my own neighborhood! Love this store! Sandwiched between some other great businesses. I was able to buy all the ingredients I needed for Kelly Brogan’s kB smoothie (which hasn’t been easy). They also have an amazing selection of supplements and probiotics. Definitely check them out.
