St. Joe Vision has the best service in the area for eye care. I had gone to Dr. White about 10 years ago and was very pleased with the service then, but my insurance changed so I ended up going to one of the places in the mall. Nothing against those places, but the service was about a 6 and I would rate St. Joe Vision a 10. I recently needed to update my glasses and instead of going to one of the places in the mall that my insurance covered I went back to Dr. White because I trusted him to put me in the best pair of lens for my needs. He did! I havent seen this well in 20 years. On top of that their staff worked with me for several months, and I tried about 4 different types of contact lens before we found the absolute best match for me for vision and comfort. My vision is the best that I can ever remember and that is with contact lens or glasses. The staff there were so patient with me and even when I was ready to settle for a pair of contacts that worked pretty well, Dr. White convinced me to try one more pair of contacts and those ended up being even better. Dr. White cares about his customers and so do the staff that work there. I would like to say thank you to them and I will definitely be coming back in the future.

I lost my glasses and they got me right in. They helped me figure out that to see better right away to get contacts. Since I still had to work they also offered a scan instead of dilating my eyes.

While the office staff and medical staff were both professional and great to work with, the optical staff took over a month to deliver my new glasses. The optical staff tried to give me scratched glasses not once, but twice. They never once apologized for my inconvenience and they tried to make me believe I was the only one that could find the scratch. I do not recommend purchasing glasses at this location.

We have had Dr. Martin White take care of our eyes for many years and have no desire to go to anyone else as long as we live in Fort Wayne. The staff is great, and Dr. White is always very clear about what he is doing, what he sees during the exam, and what needs to be done, if anything. He is conservative but thorough in his procedures and care.

I got my pair of glasses from them a little more than two years ago. I changed to another provider because it is closer to where I live. When I try to get a new pair of glasses, the price is about $50 higher than here. So for the purpose of saving money, I decided to come back. As a result, my second pair is very close to the price of my first pair. What is more impressive is that I do not need to adjust to the new pair. I have been wearing glasses for more than 25 years. This is the very first time that this happened. So I am very happy.Another purpose of my visit this year is to get some contact lenses because I started with a dancing group. Dr. Minix is super patient. He helped me try different prescriptions. All the staff are really friendly. Overall, I have great experience with them.

I have gone to Dr. White since he opened his practice over 30 years ago. I have always been satisfied with his staff and very pleased with his expertise. I recently had what could have been an emergency situation with my vision. Barb got me in to see Dr. White within hours, and they didnt rush the procedures. I trust these professionals to protect my vision.Update: As follow-up to emergency incident, Dr. White did thorough exam, so I decided to get new frames and lenses. Gloria was great at showing me just the type/size that I need, and their selection is quite large for a doctors office. Ive thought of using the cheapie glasses places, but their lenses are of poor quality as are their frames. Id rather pay more for the quality I know Dr. White always provides.

Literally the nicest staff Ive ever met! Susan was the best! She made me feel at home and beyond comfortable. Im going to get lasik next week and had my pre op appointment here and the knowledge she had about the lasik procedure was helpful and made me feel at ease. Dr. Minix was kind and thorough with my appointment. Kaitlyn was great at scheduling my next appointment and even asked me questions about my wedding in November, which is my #1 reason for lasik. The whole staff was professional Im excited to say that I have found my new Optometrist!

Ive had corrected vision from early childhood so visits to the eye doctor is not a new experience for me. However, finding a doctor like Dr. Martin and the St. Joe Vision team has made a routine experience more than pleasant, and they make you feel like family.

Took my son who was clearly scared to see Myra. Yeah less then desirable. She should not be working with children at all. My son was scared like most children, and she was rude and clearly not understanding. If i could give her zero stars I would. The staff wasnt that bad. The front desk workers were sweet. But will not be going back, and have told many people with children who planned to go there, not to. ( Lea Bandor)
