Let me start off by saying, I never leave reviews, but felt compelled to share my awesome experience with Scott. I’m nervous by nature, considering all the bad experiences I’ve had with past hair stylists. Right off the bat Scott put my fears at ease. Not only was he up front and honest, he was extremely compassionate and reassuring that he could take care of my hair. I cannot sing his praises enough. I’ve never met anyone as knowledgeable and precise as this man. He educated me on what to do moving forward, in order to keep my locks healthy and looking good. My highlights turned out AMAZING and my cut was spot on. My husband cannot stop complimenting me on how good my hair looks. In fact, he’s the one who found Scott for me! After watching disappointment after disappointment, my husband finally had enough and did some research. Top notch service and he treats you like a friend he’s known for years.

I absolutely will not go to anyone else. I love my hair and extremely happy when I leave. Scott has an outstanding, down to earth personality and listens to what you want. He tells you honestly if what you are wanting is achievable.

I absolutely ADORE Scott and The 1121 Salon! Been coming to the salon since 2016 and I haven’t- won’t go ANYWHERE else! So warm and welcoming, it feels like home! Never have I walked out unsatisfied- color, cut, and makeup! Scott did my makeup for my wedding and it was better than the inspiration picture. I have recommended Scott to all of my friends and family and they also only come to The 1121 Salon.

I have never had someone work so hard to achieve exactly what I wanted! I tried to bleach my hair at home (bad idea btw) and I needed it corrected. This man went above and beyond and you cannot beat his prices for the quality of work. Not to mention, he is so much fun to converse with. You’re my hero, Scott!!!

If you leave The 1121 Salon unsatisfied you have only yourself to blame.I have been a client for 5 years, and I trust Scott to the point that I sometimes forget to even take a look at the back. He is patient and capable of interpreting my vague attempts to explain what I want. He cured the anxiety I would have over getting a haircut, and I no longer feel like Im too particular. I leave feeling more beautiful than I walked in, every time.Scott isnt a hairdresser, and this isnt his job. He is an exceptionally skilled artist who has made your beauty his business. I love the color of my hair! He listened to exactly what I wanted and brought new ideas considering my previous hair. He was very friendly and considerate. The work was done with quality and Scott is very professional. My hair has never looked better!!

It was nice to be with someone of Scott’s caliber. He really knew what he was doing and was able to correct my hair. I am Latina and he did not turn my hair orange with the bleach. I was in love with my outcome and can’t wait to return to Scott.

Amazing service at this local salon. Scott is very talented, and will go above and beyond for his customers to ensure you feel beautiful. I recently moved from California, and had not had a decent haircut in a while. Between the stress of moving and the constant ponytails as I packed and painted, my hair was a mess. Scott gave me a deep conditioning treatment that made my hair shine, and gave me a great cut to get me through the holidays looking and feeling my best. Aside from that, I have been using a specific hair color which I absolutely loved but was discontinued, and Scott offered to contact the manufacturer directly to get the formula, as they might be more helpful to someone in the industry. Although that didnt pan out, he is being ultra persistent in helping me to re-create my signature color, and promised to help me figure something out. I thought it was really kind of him to offer to do that, since I was absolutely devastated about my color being discontinued, and most salons Ive been to have chastised or berated me for using the box color I loved. He is very down-to-earth as a person, but he is as skilled as some of the high-end salons Ive tried. He has extensive experience working with hair and makeup, and explains his technique every step of the way so that you feel comfortable. Also, he is a small business owner who obviously takes pride in his work and his reputation, and his facilities are spacious and comfortable. Im so glad I tried his salon first and found a great stylist immediately!

I immediately felt right at home. Positive, inviting aura that made me feel so relaxed. He did an amazing job on my hair, picked the most beautiful shade of blond to highlight my hair, and I am extremely happy! Can’t wait for my next appointment!

Best hair cut in Fort Wayne! Scott owns and operates the salon. He has been doing hair and make-up so long, he knows all the tricks of the trade. I swear, after one of his haircuts, I feel like Ive gained length on my hair, rather than lost it. Great conversation, too!

I know a lot of people say this but I truly dont take time to make comments or reviews of products or services.. BUT I am very disappointed at my experience with this salon..so much so it moved me to comment.Im new in the area and found 1121 Salon online. I was impressed with the reviews so I phoned the salon on Monday, August 27th to make an appointment for a hair style and make up application.Scott answered and was very pleasant and accommodating. He made an appointment for me the very next day Tuesday, August 28th at 10 oclock a.m.At 10:42 p.m. that same evening.. I received a text stating my appointment was canceled..no reason.. but Scott said I would be contacted as to rescheduling.It is now exactly 2 weeks later and I have not been contacted to reschedule..not by phone..not by text..nothing.I know things arise unexpectedly, and I am very understanding... but not following up is not how to treat clients..Terrible customer service! I had made arrangements for a sitter to stay with a new puppy while I was supposed to have my services at the salon and this disrupted her schedule also by cancelling.It may just be my work ethic but I always follow through with what I say I will do. Scott may be an excellent stylist..but my impression now is he either doesnt care or has no allegiance to his clientele.Irene

Scott is my favorite stylist ever! He is a great conversationalist and he really understand each persons unique hair and features, bringing out the best in anyone. My hair has never been the same since I moved! I will definitely stop by for a haircut the next time Im in town.

This salon is an exclusive salon in Fort Wayne. You must book ahead, as there is 1 stylist. He is reknown, and has worked in Hollywood on hair and makeup. He wont disappoint.

I can’t speak to the quality of the hair styling services, but I can comment on their customer service. I called the salon with a few questions. The man who answered had a horrible attitude, was rude, and actually hung up on me before I was done talking. Having worked in customer service, I understand that often times a phone call gives potential new clients the very first impression of your business, and this was not a good one.
