The office staff and nurses were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Poppell was great. He took his time and explained everything he was doing. I never felt like he was rushing to get to another patient. I will continue to come back here in the future.

My husband, and myself, are very happy with Dr Planchard, as well as his nurse who is so kind and caring. Also Brandi gets 5 stars for staying with me after hours when I got drops in my eyes and could not see to drive and had to wait for a ride (after dark) she refused to leave me standing alone out in the parking lot until my ride arrived! Most of the staff are very pleasant with the exception of one male tech that has an attitude problem and tries to rush you through the eye exam.

The care I received was excellent. The technician and the doctor were very kind and helpful. I will be back.

I had a very successful surgery provided by Dr. Ken Belville. I had a new lens called PanOptix implanted and have had absolutely no issues. My vision is nearly perfect and once completely healed I should have perfect vision. I had one eye corrected to overcome a cataract issue. My eye site was getting really distorted and it was hampering my day to day. I could not be happier with the outcome and the new lens. Just a perfect result that I would recommend to anyone considering this operation. Thanks again!

Saw Dr Planchard who I was referred too by my optometrist, he contradicted everything my optometrist told me and was rude and obnoxious, he got in my face not wearing gloves or a mask. He also prescribed me steroid drops after clearing stating I was allergic to steroids on my paperwork. He would ask me questions and wouldnt even let me answer them. Needless to say I wont be going back I switched my referral to white Wilson opthmatology. He also ran 2 hours late

I recommend this place wholeheartedly. I never met Dr Planchard. My procedures were performed by Dr Bellville. He’s got a great bedside manner and a sense of humor. I like him a lot. I went in for cataract surgery. Left eye done in September, right eye done in October. I elected to get the the multi focal lenses by Panoptix. The surgery was quick and easy. No discomfort. The next day my vision had improved somewhat, but after my one week checkup, my left eye had gone from 20-200 (legally blind) to 20-25. My right eye went from 20-70 to 20-25 in the same time period. My reading vision is 20-16. No glasses. No need for them at all. I see things I haven’t seen in 3-4 years. I find it almost miraculous. Don’t put it off, there’s nothing to it and the benefits outweigh any price.

I will never,ever recommend this place to anyone that wants lasik surgery. I was cancelled this morning for the FOURTH time. I have spent over 200 dollars for eye drops I cant use, wasted 200 on an evaluation and now lost out on 8 days of work along with my husband because they keep cancelling. This is unacceptable, and very unprofessional. I would strongly recommend to go else where.

Had refractive surgery here 26 years ago and I am still seeing 2020 distance. Best decision I have ever made!

Not a fan of this office. I was there over two hours. The front was great the guy named Jerry was wonderful. After that it quickly went down hill. I was there for something that this old fashioned dr had no idea about. Then his nurse kept looking at me like I was an idiot. Sorry it was past time for you to leave but that’s not my problem! Won’t ever deal with that insanity again.

In last month have had cataract surgery done on both eyes. Dr Gabriel is great! Whole experience was seamless. All staff members including surgery center do a great job!

Dr. Planchard preformed cataract surgery for me on June 3rd 2019. The morning of surgery my best vision corrected out of my right eye was 20/70. Now I see 20/20 without correction. Absolutely amazing.

NO! Although they got me in next day due to a car accident, which I appreciated, they did not tell me there really was not a slot open for me, they were working me in and I could be there for a few hours. I arrived 15 minutes early like they asked to fill out the new patient paperwork. Appointment was for 9:30, I was not called back until 10:30. Then I spent an hour with the tech then into another waiting room for 25 min to dilate but did not know that, then into a room to see the dr. another 10 min wait then with the dr. for 15 min, and not impressed with him The front waiting room has no separation from the receptionist so you listen to her confirm appointments etc. Staff was friendly enough no problems there. Just not a good experience, for me, probably would go back

My husband had gone in after puncturing his eye with a snake plant, loosing part of his vision, was super light sensitive and in extreme pain For a couple days even after receiving antibiotics. The reception and nurses were great but Dr. Planchard was extremely rude upon arrival, rolling his eyes at our explanations and completely insensitive to my husband’s pain and vulnerability. We will never come here again. Dr. Planchard rushed through the exam, treated my husband like a child, telling him he was acting like a baby then continued to tell us that there was nothing wrong. It’s a month later and my husband is still having problems with his vision and pain at times. I do not recommend coming to this facility.

I just had one of two cataract surgeries by Dr Brian Planchard and can’t express how amazing the experience was. There was absolutely no discomfort throughout the process and the presurgery team was extremely professional. I am looking forward to completing the process and having the other eye done as soon as possible. Look no further for extremely good care.

I’m not going back. The wait is always ridiculous. The tech who did my eye exam was rude and impatient. I think his name was mike. Maybe get an different job. You are not a people person. Dr was annoying and lacked knowledge on my condition. The reception was nice and so is Darren. However due to their incessant pushing of lasik and rudeness as well as no respect for my time I will not be back! Not everyone wants lasik. Go back to school and learn more.

I personally believe Dr. Poppell is the finest Optometrist I have ever visited ! The results were much better than what I had hoped for !!

I have been going to Dr. Poppell for several years now. The staff is always polite and professional, and Dr. Poppell is always wonderful. I love how they added the optical shop so now I can check out sunglasses while I wait!

I finally did it! I had LASIK surgery on my left eye only (I use my right eye for distance). I wore a reading contact on my left eye for a couple of years and did well until I developed dry eyes. I could not take the reading glasses anymore and keeping up with my readers got old fast.I am now one week out of surgery and I see up close beautifully. I threw away eight pairs of reading glasses.When I wake up I now grab for the phone and see, I can read my cookbooks and magazines, quilt on my longarm, all without glasses! This is HUGE for me! I can’t thank Dr. Poppell enough for his expertise; he and his awesome staff made the whole journey exceptionally easy. I wish I did it sooner. Thank you to the whole team, I called the right place.

Dr. Poppell performed LASIK surgery on my eyes in January 2016 and the results are nothing but fantastic. My vision is now 20/15 and after wearing glasses for the last 27 years, its awesome to not need them anymore... outstanding work!!!

On June 19th 2013, Dr Poppell performed a cataract surgery on my left eye. He tore the vitreous in the left eye causing a deformed pupil. He later blamed the complications on me and that I rubbed my eye the night after the surgery. Two other surgeons’ findings have found the tear occurred during Dr Poppell surgery. My complications are blurred vision, flashes of light, and pain when entering sunlight. Since the surgery, I’ve found many other patients of Dr Poppell experienced compilations. Do not use this eye surgeon.
