Dont believe he deserves one star... The staff should stop lying giving him 5 stars.. This office is ridiculous. Its just a money pit , one appointment after the other, with no new information in site. Dr seems as if he is not very knowledgeable. Or either its the fact that he does not care... Do not go to this dr...... I repeat do not go to this dr.

WORST GASTROENTEROLOGIST IN TOWN! We had a CT scan Tuesday 10/12/21 to get to the bottom of abdominal pain, results came back 1 hour later in email..It’s Friday now 10/15/21 and no one has even called to discuss the results with us…not to mention the fact that they know the abdominal pain is excruciating! We’ve called all week only to be told “we’ll call you back our computers are down” Finally we call our PCP that referred us there in the first place and Herraka has scheduled us 11/1/21 JUST TO TALK ABOUT THE RESULTS..ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? So what about the pain in the mean time???? If you care anything about your Stomach DONT GO HERE!!! All the positive reviews HAVE to be staff because ain’t no way! We’ve been getting the run around for one year and still have the same stomach issue and NO ANSWERS!

This Dr and his staff (Sarah)are very good at what they do. They listen to your issues and treat you well. Five stars aren’t enough for them.

I absolutely love the care I receive at this clinic. Dr.H cares about his patients. But a great doctor is only as good as his staff. And the staff is amazing Sarah goes above and beyond as well as all the others. I recommend this office.

Seems to be a experienced team of staff. Everone outgoing and on top of things. I had a colonoscopy and my esophagus stretched while at my appointment. Everything went fine and feel great the next day! Thanks to all of you that dealt with me.

He’s very thorough and explains things and gives you a chance to ask questions. His bedside manner is top notch. The surgery staff is all great and I have to give a shout out to my nurse Regina. My experience with doctor Haraka was a little bit different because I did not see him in office. He was always very nice and kind and smiled . Most of our visits were all video calls because I lived an hour and a half away. While I appreciated his willingness to do video calls and go over things with me. I was a little disappointed at times. I felt like a little rushed when I had questions to ask I couldnt quite forum but that might have just been more me. Some of the staff was slightly short with me and Im pretty sensitive to those things. When I finally got my diagnosis fatty liver disease I kind of felt like since it wasnt something he really couldnt treat medically that I wasnt offered anything to try. I would have liked for him to go over some special liver foods or diets that I could try or that would be safe for a diabetic with that is that liver disease. I would have liked him to offer to refer me to weight loss surgery because I thought that was one of the things he wanted to do in the beginning when we thought this would probably be the diagnosis. So once he told me what it was we got off the call very quickly with him just saying to lower carbs. I would have liked for him said I can send your information to The Heart Hospital in Little Rock to see if we can help get Medicaid to pay for your weight loss. That would have at least given me some hope. I will say Brandy was always very sweet and kind on the phone and always offered her help. It was also a little frustrating to always have to call to ask for my results of test after waiting the amount of time has passed. The office did not usually or really never call me with results or to set up appointment. I was the one always having to follow up

One bad experience after another. Colonoscopy was scheduled for 11 AM with 12:30 PM being expected pick up time. By 1 PM I was still in the waiting room! Prep for a colonoscopy is to fast the day before other than water and syrup and no drinking water the day of. I had a splitting headache waiting for appointment but could do nothing about it. Staff seemed indifferent as if the 2 hour wait was business as usual. My husband waited around for about 3 hours but then had to return to work. After I woke up from procedure staff made snarky comment about how long it took my husband to come back and get me.When I got the bill for the procedure it was $4K it seems like the office should be able to afford adequate staffing. They had a long line of Colonoscopy patients for one day. For all the trouble and money, NO useful information was found from the procedure.Dr. ordered more tests but when I came to my scheduled appointment to find out the results I waited for 45 minutes but again the long waits in the office are business as usual. I was unable to wait longer so I was unable to receive the test results despite getting to my appointment on time. I asked the office to send the test results to my primary doctor. They said it shouldnt be a problem. So far they have NOT sent the results. $400 for this test and doctor is making it as difficult as possible for me to get the results.$4400 spend so far (at least) with no information about the cause of my stomach problems!On one of my first visits, I asked the dr. to refill a prescription for acid reflux meds. He said he would. However, he only refilled for 2 months instead of a year like every other doctor in the country. Who knows why other than every step of the way every single thing with this doctor has to be difficult.Also, for appointments he will not meet you in person. You go to the office and then to the room and then you speak to him through computer screen. I suppose Covid is the excuse. But if he is that concerned about Covid then he should make the entire appointment online! The whole purposed of going to office is to see a real person. If Covid is the reason, then his current system keeps himself safe while exposing the patient and staff to Covid. If Im going to speak to a computer screen then I may as well have zero exposure to Covid and do the appointment online.Terrible doctor!

Dr. Herrakas office was great. The nurses were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Herraka explained the procedures thoroughly and then was in the room when I awoke from the anesthesia. He is a very friendly doctor and listens to all your concerns. I would highly recommend anyone that needs to a great gastroenterologist to check out this office.

Best doctor 👨‍⚕️ ever!!! He found out what was wrong with my liver when no one else could . He also found another problem with my kidney that was life threatening and needed to be removed. I recommend him to everyone that has a liver issue

We had a very nice experience. My son was very content with all of the people that cared for him. They explained the procedure and what they we going to do. He is a down syndrome young man that doesnt really understand but they took time with him.

My wife has been sick for over 3 months. Dr. Herraka was recommended by her primary care physician. His staff is always welcoming and friendly and explains everything to us. When my wife fell ill, Dr. Herraka himself called the emergency room to speak to the physician to try to make things happen while she was there and kept in contact with us. Not many doctors do that. He and his staff treat patients like family, and that goes a long way. My wife is still sick, and Dr. Herraka is working to find answers, but I trust him.
