Dr hughes has helped me alot

Dr. Hughes has been the only Dr I could not manipulate. Which is why my recovery is almost over with Suboxone. He dont take any bull so if you want to really get clean hes a great man who does care but does not like being lied to. Be up front and tell him if you feel like things are too crazy to change doses ...he deals with addicts daily by himself. I see lots of bad reviews but Ive been with him 2 years and never missed an appointment. Hes always been there on my appt.-LaRissa Beckham

Dr. Hughes started out super helpful, but after my 3rd appointment, he started standing me up. He would make me an appt for 9am, I would drive an hour and afterward he told me he didn’t work mornings anymore. Accused me of being wrong when I had the appt card. Then the next one was 3pm the following week. I waited 45 minutes and he was a no show again. I found someone in Fayetteville that actually shows up to appointments. He wasted my time and my PTO. He has too many things going on to try to run an office like this by himself.

I saw Hughes for two years. I sang his praises because he seemed very professional, despite things other patients had told me about him accusing them of things they hadnt done. I assumed they were lying until one day I came in for a routine appointment and was accused of ignoring his phone calls. I was utterly confused and swore to him he must have me confused with someone else because as I told him, we TALKED ON THE PHONE a few days before that. I told him as calm as I could he must be mistaken. He insisted I had been lying to him and taking advantage of him. I still believe he has a good heart but he does not do an adequate job of being his own nurse and receptionist. And he has a tendency to assume every addict is lying to him, as I have heard multiple other people tell me . He encourages you to tell the truth but WILL NOT LISTEN to anything he doesnt want to hear. He didnt want to hear about issues like PTSD and ADD that seriously affect my addiction recovery. I never pissed dirty or lied to him. Every other time I saw him he flipped from telling me it was my choice to cut down when I was ready to telling me this was ridiculous and had gone on long enough. My behavior was consistent from month to month but I never knew what to expect from him. Doesnt matter who you are, you CAN NOT help someone if you refuse to listen to them.

Dr. Hugh is a caring Doctor also he will work with you about your Addiction..

Its a 1 man show hes the nurse dr and the front desk receptionist. You come in on your app time sign in sit down in a waiting room with others while he handles 1 patient at a time normally 5 to 15 minutes on a patient. when hes done he will walk up front call whos next on sign in sheet and so fourth. Simple check up bp weight etc talks a minute writes script you pay the man and on your way short and sweet. The stuff works 2 but some side effects suck but good weighs out the bad.

Hes Very professional. Clean if you really want help hes the place to go.

Very professional, got my prescription in a very timely manner, and Dr. Juan was very respectful and caring. I will continue seeing Hughes as long as I can...

Very professional. Tough love lol he doesnt sugar coat it.

Very unprofessional!!. Doesnt show up for his appointments... repeatedly! People travel to see him and he really doesnt care. Thats sad.
