These doctors do not talk to you!!! You pay for all the testing and yet they never share with you if anything is going on with you!!!!! They treat you like you are a number not a patient. I tired both Dr. Chalasnie and Dr. Rao, they neither one will tell you anything!!!!! Get your records and find someone who will talk to you!!!!! I won’t even give a star but had to!

I personally had a very good experience meeting Dr. Rao and his staff. Everyone was kind and attentive. Dr. Rao answered my questions and did not rush to get to his next appointment. Disappointed to read all the negative reviews.

My experience with Dr.Rao was not to good.I dont recommend him to anybody. The time he spends with the patients is very short, he is always in a in a hurry to see the next patient, they charge per patient, thats why he is always in a hurry, he doesnt care about his patient. FDA should know about this.

Dr. Rao is attentive, kind, and easy to talk with about my cardiac issues. He and his staff are truly awesome. Thank you for your expertise and knowledge.

Horrible doctor cardiologist . Shouldnt be allowed to work. Doesnt care about patients. While in the hospital for open heart surgery, overheard half a dozen nurses standing less than 5ft away talk about how careless he is especially when it comes to prescribing medications and giving medications that counteract and can be fatal. To me, he was rude and inconsiderate. Once he found out I had no insurance he walked away and never saw him again the 3 weeks in lawnwood. Pathetic

My wife was at the office today. From the moment she walked in, the unforgettable bad started. First, the front desk had their window closed and though they could be seen it took forever for them to open as we stared at each other. 2nd, my wife was there to get a holster, not her first, they didnt ask if she was allergic and needed hypoallergenic materials. 3rd, on her way out the door she was asked loudly if she had a deductible payment to take care of to which she replied that no one had appraised her of that, then the aide proceeded to tell her that she needed to pay. I think that would be something you tell to the patient when they walk in, not after the fact. The casual and unprofessional way my wife was treated is not what you would expect from a professional setting that wants to remain open. The staff present during this visit could stand to be retrained and we are considering not coming back because of the bad experience.By the way, on her prior appointment, she got a call from the office letting her know that she was economically responsible for missing the appointment that she had been to.Staff has got to go.

I was taken to Lawnwood ER for AFib. Dr. Rao prescribed 2 Rxes that were contraindicated with another medicine (a VERY common medicine) I take. Serious interactions! Could have KILLED me!!! This was my first AFib episode.Pharmacist was the one who told me. He could not fill the 2 Rxes. I was furious that this so-called cardiologist (Rao) would be so sloppy!I immediately called the hospital, spoke with head doctor. When I was able to convince him I knew what I was talking about, he flipped out about the meds. He yelled, Dont take the Rx that Rao gave you!! OMG Dont take it!!!! He was very upset and concerned.
