I am 9 months post op vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG). Dr. Bass, his wife, and the front desk receptionist Amber are kind, professional, and informative. I am a medical professional and I know top notch care when I see it. I would highly recommend. I was up and walking over a mile (slowly) two days after surgery. My only regret is not having had it sooner.

Hes a decent doctor. But the information I got vs my wife is different. And the other reason is over the silly mask requirement.

Very attentive, outgoing, genuine and confident. Even the nurses at the hospital said hes one of their favorite as he treats them all with respect.If I didnt know him as aSurgeon Id refer to him as a kind hearted good old boy. He wont waste your time or your money. And his staff is on the ball. Thanks Amber and everyone for making this procedure as painless and cost effective as possible.

Dr Bass is a wonderful surgeon. I felt at ease with him immediately and I didn’t feel rushed. He took the time to explain exactly what my procedure would involve. It’s 3 days after surgery and I am recovering as expected. It’s rare to find such a caring surgeon and I highly recommend him.

The office staff is rude to the point of mean. Unsolicited disrespect. Talked to me and my wife like we were dogs. Please dont point this amount of money in their direction. They are not worthy people.

Dr. Bass is a wonderful surgeon. I just had my gastric bypass on Nov 4 2019 and it went perfect and I couldnt ask for a better surgeon.

This surgeon takes the time and explains things in great detail without being pompous or rushing. I had issues with me gallbladder, and he told me about the entire process. His staff is absolutely wonderful, too.

If you are looking for a Bariatric Doctor then I recommend Doctor Thomas Bass. When I first saw him we talked about my dieting history and what surgery was best for me, he suggested the sleeve gastrectomy, I had the surgery 2-15-16 and during my stay at the hospital Dr. Bass came to check to see how I was doing several times, you can really tell he cares about his patients. Dr. Bass and his staff thank you very much.

Dr Bass is not about the Patient I all most Died and suffered a lot of pain in his care. Had to have several years for stomach surgeries to repair the damage he has caused. Still to this day Im still not right. I sorry I havent posted this sooner. My problems all started in 1997 and have been on going for years.

He does bariatric surgery and has gotten very high praises from other Physicians in the area . I am looking forward to him performing my surgery at the end of April.

I would give 1/2 star if it would let me I almost died from the surgery he did and he didn’t listen when I said something was wrong I had to go to another doctor and by then I was septic and had to go straight to the hospital to have my lap band removed
