I cant say enough about this facility and their curtious, professional staff.Greg really has made my experience worthwhile. His knowledge of prosthetics, problem solving, mechanics of motion, and his trade are matched only by his positive, helpful attitude.In fact if I were naming this business it would have the acronym POPC because the entire staff displays that same pleasant upbeat demeanor. The first P stands for Positive.This is a very customer service oriented facility and they always treat me like as if I were their only client. Which I know is not true.If you are considering prosthetics in this area believe me, after losing my right leg I spent a long time getting the runaround by many facilities, then I found these guys. OPC visited my hospital room the day after my below the knee amputation. Brandon assured me that life would not be as bad as I thought it might be. His positive attitude and friendliness made me feel great! The staff at the Metropolis office has been so helpful and positive. This is by far the best prosthetic company Ive ever been to, and Ive been to many. Its refreshing to see the patient and the experience valued before the $$$ for once. I am very active which can make a prosthetists life difficult, yet they have worked with me to get me in various legs that worked for all of my activities, from a daily leg for 12 hour shifts as a nurse to a skate leg for my roller derby, no questions asked. And seriously, they are the best fitting sockets/legs Ive ever had. Wes is the best!!!

Our father is a 70 year amputee and recently experienced a fall requiring he be completely refitted for a prosthesis. We discovered OPC through his physical therapist. Wes sets the benchmark for knowledge, skill set, patience and kindness in dealing with us and our 85 year old father on this very difficult new fit. Wes is the consummate professional. The team at OPC Ft. Myers always goes above and beyond to take care of all of their patients. From my initial intake, during the pandemic, and still today they have taken care of my every question, or concern. They have given me full access to the latest technology and most modern equipment. My fittings are meticulously orchestrated and they are not satisfied with their products until the patient is. I would recommend this office for anyone in need of orthotics and prosthetics. Brooke and Robin are always available to help me get appointments fast, Wes is the best prosthesist I have ever met. John and Brandon are the case managers that facilitate any need I have. My father recently received a Martin Bionics socket and total hip system from Wes and it worked out great. He did an amazing job and they continue to show how educated and up to date they are with the latest technology.

Wes put me in a suction socket and I love it!! No problems!! I was scared at first being I had the old style suction and hated it. This new one is awesome!! Very happy I went with Wes and the new socket!!!

I come from experience in the prosthetic world. I was born with only one leg and a club foot - almost 70 years ago. Thanks to all the great prosthetists I’ve met along the way and to the advances that came into place with the American’s with Disabilities Act, I am an extremely active female who does spin, aerobics, and yoga every week. (And chases four grandsons on the side.)I have the highest praise for OPC. All of the staff is incredibly professional in dealing with both the intricacies of creating a new leg and in the hurdles encountered with dealing with insurance. Even when I complained, “What do you mean I have to see my doctor every six months? Does the insurance company think I grew a leg?” In all challenges, they made smile and feel whole.I can say without hesitation, that my current prosthetic is the best leg I have ever had. Wes was extremely patient with me during the lengthy trial process and always took into account all my needs and concerns - both functional and cosmetic.Over my lifetime, I have had legs made in Boston, Chicago, and New York. But with OPC here, I’m really glad we live now in Southwest Florida.

They have such a great staff. I am very pleased with the process they use for the fitting a new prosthetic leg. I have been an amputee for 11 years and I get wonderful care here. Highly Recommend them.

You will find a Super fantastic office manager, Gina, here, who will help you with all your medical and insurance concerns and needs. Additionally, there are highly skilled medical, technical, employees who will assist you in the process of fitting and custom molding you for your ortho or prosthetic scripts. Even custom airbrushed designed legs. VA certified. I saw some really phenomenal work being done here and I was molded for two ankle leg support stabilizers.

Yeah I know, five stars is a lot but they all deserve it. Wes the prosthetic technician is very personally concerned about my well being and is working with me through the changes that are taking place. I cant say enough in this post but if anyone reading it has any questions I will sure try to help. The office staff is equally helpful and courteous. No issues whatsoever with billing and I changed insurance companies half way through. Just stopping by the office before I was a customer gave me peace of mind and everyone worked with me and answered my questions prior to even being an amputee. I highly recommend OPC to anyone needing prosthetic or orthotics devices.

Horrible. This place charged Medicare for a brace that doesnt even work!They spent 2 minutes fitting this brace. They should have taken at least 30 minutes. They never considered the other leg at all. Cannot even manage brace with arthritis. It was a joke.Will never go to them again

This Canadian snowbird was ready to hang my C-Leg on the mantel for Santa to give to someone who would make better use of it than I.Some Floridian friends of mine recommended Wesley from OPC - Fort Myers. When I first spoke with Geidi, I found her to be pleasant to speak with over the phone and full of information. Because I’m from Canada and had no American physician, getting a prescription was impossible. Wesley and Heidi went above my expectations, found me a physician, got me an appointment and I was able to be fitted for my socket in no time. This was definitely not part of their job! I got my final socket and Wesley had me in the office once per week, ensuring that all adjustments were right and answered any and all of my questions. Then, just before I left to come back to Canada, Wesley had one last look and I came back home. Once back home, Heidi followed up with me a short time after to ensure that all was good and if I had questions. She said I was able to call anytime and they would help me in anyway they could over the phone.I would strongly recommend OPC - Fort Myers, FL for all your prosthetic needs. The staff (I mostly deal with Heidi & Wesley) are so pleasant, they go above and beyond their normal duties to ensure things get done right. They not only work for OPC - Fort Myers, they work for me. I matter to them. And I am 100% sure they will work for you too.

I was so happy that OPC was able to help my husband get orthotics while staying in Ft. Myers for a month. His hometown podiatrist had issues with their supplier but with their prescription OPC came through for him. The entire staff was so helpful an polite. A BIG THANKYOU TO OPC!

I am a long time, very active, amputee(BKA). I my own law practice which requires me to stand on my feet in court for several hours per day. I need to move quickly, comfortably and to concentrate. I also run, bike, swim and do anything that I want without any limitations. Although I live in Fort Myers , for years I have traveled to large cities in order to see what I thought were the very best Practitioners Money can buy. Many of them were absolutely fantastic.I decided to try out a Practitioner closer to my home and work. I was counseling another amputee who had questions about cycling and running and he told me about Wes and OPC. So, I decided to give them a try. I engaged OPC and Wes to make me a new socket and leg with all of the best components. The foot I have selected is called the Challenger which is a hybrid running foot/walking foot. Very cool. I demand the very best and it is not acceptable to me if a practice does not have the resources necessary for me to maximize my activity. I found OPC and Wes easily had all of the latest technology available. Wes was very knowledgeable from a technical standpoint and this makes a difference. He also understood The importance of a prosthetic Looking good — I personally like everything blacked out with componentry — he is creative in that regard. Top practitioners and staff with great resources on par with any practitioners who have built my walking legs, running legs, cycling legs and the like. The entire staff is nice. The insurance process is timely and straightforward. Looking forward to getting some additional toys from OPC and Wes.
