I worked for this wonderful family-company owned by Ralph and Pearl until recently retiring. They were very respectful to the employees. They made sure we were updated on regulations and policies and carefully provided PPE for all.Sandi was a terrific nurse manager and was always available to clarify issues and provide decision- making support. The client was always #1.Renee was awesome in her very challenging position as scheduler. She was attentive to both client and staff concerns. We all got notice of any extra shifts available. And her lovely sense of humor was a great bonus.When I had some health issues these folks went above and beyond to support me any way they could.I have heard about some other agencies turning a blind eye to the bending of some regulations. I never even heard a whisper of this happening at Heart, Body, & Mind. I feel they are an honest agency with high standards and ethics. My father has been living in an independent living facility in Florida and since I live in NJ I am not able to be there to help with his needs. He requires some daily assistance due to mild dementia as well as recovery from a fractured hip. Heart body mind home care has been meeting his needs for the past 7 months. They provide great caretakers who have helped tremendously with his recovery from surgery and continue to provide assistance with his medications and with his morning care routine. They help keep his life organized so after they leave he can continue to function Independently throughout the rest of the day. Heart, Body & Mind Home Care has been a true blessing in the lives of my husband and myself. My husband has Parkinsons Disease and Dementia. We previously had a different provider and it was not an easy or pleasant experience. With Heart, Body & Mind Home Care, it is totally the opposite. Everyone is professional, any issue is tracked down and addressed instantly, and the quality of the caregivers is excellent. I leave my house in the morning to go to work without a single worry that my husband is going to have a great day. Not only does he have a regular daily caregiver, he has a regular substitute as well, so he never has someone he doesnt know. My in-laws live in Port Charlotte, FL and after my father in-law got Parkinsons, we needed to hire someone to help my mother in-law take care of him.Living in a different city its difficult to check on his wellbeing. At that point the scheduler will match an employee with a client .To ensure that match is successful, unannounced spot checks are performed by the supervising nurse, to evaluate the employee and see that the client is pleased with the services and all needs are met.This by far is the most caring and compassionate Home Health Agency in Lee County.
