First of all I have to say Dr. Bailey is amazing! He did my cardiac procedure. Explained everything and he is very professional. The other side, the Fort Myers office is a real struggle to do an appointment. And if they want the patients come earlier they need to communicate better. I was originally schedule for an appointment on Monday 830am. They called me previous Friday apparently because the physician is going to be late and they just moved the appointment to 1015am. I explained because I work I couldn’t assist. So I changed for next day Tuesday 400pm. The same Tuesday someone from the office called me but didn’t left a message so I couldn’t figure out who called. I clocked out at 3pm and when I was on my way to go to the appointment the office called me at 330 to check if I can come earlier. I explained the traffic was heavy and is raining so I’ll do the best I can. Sadly I had to call again to notify that I will be in the office at 410pm if they can attend me. I explained that I was driving from Naples to Fort Myers. But they decided that I need to reschedule. And I had a cardiac catheterization that needs to follow up. Apparently they close at 5pm but I don’t know this is just frustrating

Not impressed. Doctor Schneider was professional and kind but as a practice, strongly recommend you look elsewhere. I was to be scheduled for a procedure and assured they would contact me soon to set a date….one full month later, not even a call. A physical visit to their offices was met with a surly front desk person who shrugged me off telling me “they we were working on it”. I deserve better care and i am currently searching for an alternative. You should too!

Extremely disappointed in their communication. After many unanswered calls, I went to their office to speak with someone or have someone call me back with results, did not happen. This institution is veering away from their “mission”, “Every patient and family member entrusted to our care will receive personal attention, expert medical care and friendly service.” There are plenty more good Cardiologists in the area, might make the switch soon.

This is the least professional medical office you will ever experience. Over a weeks time I called the office EIGHT times to get a new appointment - on hold for several minutes then disconnected EVERY TIME. AND NO VOICEMAIL AVAILABLE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE!So I go to the website, and click on the link to make an appointment, and the page no longer exists. So I try adding my information to the form for new patients, and nobody gets back to me. Reviews say the doctors are great, but what is the point if you never get to see them?I had to go back to my primary care physician to get a referral for a different cardiologist.

It would be nice if the office could get it together. First the computer system is down, now the phones...unable to make a much needed heart appointment for a loved one in the last 2 weeks! This cardiologist establishment leaves a lot to be desired.

All the people working there are very compassionate.  I see Dr. Hon and P.A. Sara Dube.  However my last visit in April 2021, they now have a new policy of charging a three percent surcharge to use a credit card. How petty is that?  If you pay by check or use a debit card they wave that charge.  I understand that the Doctors are probably unaware of this but whoever is their office manager should reconsider this petty charge.  If my three percent makes that big of a difference in their bottom line then maybe I should be worried about their office sustainability.  My star rating is based solely on the Doctors and support staff not on the billing department or the person that instituted the three percent surcharge, they get ONE star. Get rid of the petty charge and it goes up.

What a terrible setup for appointments. Many people that deal with this business say the same, there’s no way in getting appointmentsI’ll be using a smaller business that knows how to handle patients needs. Very disappointed

Dr. Scott Allen was phenomenal. Very straightforward, knowledgeable and compassionate. I went in with my 92-year-old father who was experiencing a recent turn in his health. Dr. Allen addressed every one of my fathers concerns in a caring way and encouraged us - as a family - to discuss goals for my fathers care so that he would best know how to proceed in his care. I hope that I never need a cardiologist, but if I do I shall make my appointment with Dr. Allen.

The administrative side of the house is horrible! Doctor is great. I showed up for a referral and doctor told me he is the wrong doctor, yet still billed me. Met right doctor in second visit after waiting for over an hour in the little room. He sent me for cardio inversion. Had to call multiple times to schedule that, leave voice mails over a 2 week period just to get the appt. Once I finally get an appt it gets cancelled and start all over again. Appt for that was cancelled 3 times now.I referred my wife to them. She just showed up for the appt and she was told the computer systems were down and not able to see the doctor.

APPOINTMENTS get canceled quite frequently on the avarage every 8 - 12 months .They always say we will call you back THEYDONT! When you get thru to reschedule yourput at the back of the . Changed doctors

Number provided...on hold forever, then disconnects the call three days in a row. The only way I could schedule an appt for a patient from the hospital was to drive there in person. Called prescription line...could not leave info for refill....mailbox full. No communication between doctors!

Dr. Law has been taking care of my cardiac related needs. I met her a couple of years ago and since then have requested her in this rather large facility. I like the way she explains things and gives information in a straightforward way. I credit her in part with my good health today. I credit myself, as well, because i do what she tells me to...

My husband was rescheduled 2 times. We both had to take off work, pay 2x to see a doctor, double for blood work and X-rays only to be told 30 min before the procedure the doctor called off. Melissa was very kind and called to do anything she could to make this right. The doctor also called and apologized. While the rescheduling was very inconvenient and we took time off work. The apologies made us realize things happen out of people’s control. How this was handled afterwards would make us consider not changing doctors.

The carpet might be old in this building but I also find it to be extremely dirty. All of the walls also need to be washed and painted. I would not trust my care in a place as filthy as this.

Be careful of the people that do your benefits, primary Dr. sent a referral and then for a week lady called me saying don’t have my insurance sounded like a phone scam. Kept telling them to call my Dr. said they did in which they didn’t cause I checked. Then after finally going in for appointment they tried to say my copay is 55 dollars when it’s 5 dollars. Seemed really strange and didn’t want to talk to my benefit rep I had that wanted to speak to them.

Cancelled my appointment on same day now attempting to make one online website down and states unable to accept emails or faxes and hold time is 43 minutes . the state of Florida needs to investigate this company ASAP as people lives are being jeopardized

A brief history first :Our Interventional Cardiologist of 5 years, closed his private practice and joined Lee Health. We found Lee Health impossible to deal with. The office staff are like automatons, their billing department is relentlessly billing with explanations that are inexplicable. We were forced to leave our cardiologist due to Lee Health’s billing policies.Well, as they say....when one door closes, another opens :We are now patients of Dr. Scott Allen and his PA Sara E. Dube of Florida Heart Associates.Dr Allen ordered a number of tests for my wife and I to establish a base line and scheduled an appointment to review the results.We were informed days before that appointment that we would be given our results NOT by Dr. Allen but by a PA. I was disappointed by that news. I’ve never received cardio results by anyone other than my cardiologist in the past. We kept the appointment.We met Sara E. Dube, PA-C for our results.We’ve never met anyone so genuinely caring, answering our questions, there were many, explaining all with much patience and recommending change in medications, also with an explanation that made us comfortable.So if patients are reading this review, consider yourselves VERY fortunate to sit with SARA E. Dr Law is a very caring & patient Dr that explains everything very thoroughly. She took great care in treating my husband & I both as patients. We appreciate the office staff & nurses that gave us great care whenever we had tests performed. We are very satisfied that we found Florida Heart Associates.

The doctors seem fine enough, and its all good until you go into the hospital, or need to speak with a cardiologist directly. I literally had their answering service hang up on me (I told the practice and no one cared), and while my mother was in the hospital, even though a Florida heart associate doctor oversaw her care, they refused to return calls to any of the family to discuss my moms prognosis and care (shes 80, and old 80). They had her released without fixing the issues. The nurses refuse to leave patient messages for the doctors Im sure theyre directed not to. My suggestion is deal with them as long as there is no acute issue. If you are dealing with that, go somewhere that cares about the patients and their families.

Dr. Scott Allen and his team are knowledgeable, professional and skilled. I had a heart catheterization done by hime at Healthpark Medical Center and I couldnt of asked for a better doctor or team. My cardiologis, Dr. Hanlon arranged for Dr. Scott to do the procedure and I cant imagine a better team working on my heart. Talent like this group of professionals sure puts my mind at rest when having a procedure. Thank you everyone for your committment to exceptional medicine.

I cant say enough good about this group I have been there several years ago for a nuclear stress test and Dr visit was treated very kindly and respectfully. They even squeezed me in at last minute to get cleared for surgery two days later. Have to go back again now and have spoke with a nurse on the phone who was so very kind took the time to find out everything I needed to know went above and beyond her job all praise goes to the group. Especially when there so many doctors office with staff that are rude to you . Its freshing to see have this wonderful service for something as important as your HEART❤️. Theyve won my heart. 😊

Husband waited an hour past appt. time and if we hadnt got up to leave would probably still be waiting. Routine follow up on an ongoing condition. There were no changes. They could have easily called with that info. Were only with the doctor for all of two. minutes. Guess they needed the Blue Cross payment and our copay badly! No wonder health ins premiums are out of control with these type of unnecessary charges.

Someone on the staff rescheduled my appointment which was made months ago and never told me. I took a day off from work and drove the better part of an hour to this office. No only that, this place is not easy to find. The staff was defensive, unapologetic and without humility for their error.I asked to see another doctor. I was asked to wait. After 25 minutes, I left. The women from the front desk called my cellphone. She indicated a doctor would be able to see me in 4 hours. At that point, I was no longer interested for obvious reasons. If this staff cant manage appointments, then they can manage my medical care. I doubt I will hear from the doctor. I do not recommend them.

Received a phone call this morning stating Dr Sensecqua cancel again. Called back and got into a shouting match with Marianne, she stated that the Dr has been sick for weeks, but I can see doctors assistant for the same price. She didn’t know that I had tests done and needed to see a DOCTOR. She became belligerent and just hung up on me. This doctor was always great but lately he’s been MIA. Right now I can’t recommend this outfit to anyone. They need a good house cleaning. Very disappointed.

Same issue as everyone else. Booked appointment and messaged a wrong time. Booked for 8:30 am and when I got there they said it was 8:00am. Yet their site says they dont open till 8:30 am? When I called in after a short Hospital stay , they said the Doctor was booked solid for two months, they advised a PA or NP would be my only option. When I reschedule after their mishap, I requested Dr. Guerrero specifically and now his first available was a week out..... Their explanation, “ Hospital follow ups are done by the PA or NP” . Never mind the fact that they slot them every 15 minutes with an appointment. How can a PA or NP that has never met you, just received your file minutes before seeing you , review your file , visit with you and provide adequate care in 15 minutes? So, mislead patients in order to fill your PA and NP slots and still bill you the same as seeing the Dr. Don’t mislead your patients and take your finances over adequate healThcare. If you TRULY cared you would be open an honest with your patients.

I had spiking blood pressure...my Mother died if a massive cerebral hemorrhage, at 59 years old, as doctors way back in the early 1950s thought women did not have cardiac problems....Florida Heart was wonderful...was scared when it got high, but the nurses assured me that I could call them for reassurance.....they helped me get my b/p down to the low 120s over the mid 60s.....when other medical appointments take my ptessure, they comment how rarely they see that in the seniors they treat!!! I heartily recommen them!!!

Worst place ever. They dont care about well being of patience or concern. Rescheduled me 9 times in 4 months. Scheduling imcompetant and changes appt with out consulting patient. Nurses reluctant to follow up with patiences about complications with medications. Landed me in er 3 times over their shinatigins with heart failure. Im only in my early 30s! My life is not something to play with and they should be shut down for their incompitancys. I had a stroke in 2013 because of them. They are awful stay away if you care about your health. Staffing also loves to hang up on people too. And scheduling likes to make up appointments you never agree to. Horrible. Every time i went they never kept their own records accurate. If you change or stop medicine then the records should reflect those changes because you did it. I should not have to remind a doctor that they switched my meds or stopped because this is purpose behind medical records. Also the bed side manner of one Doctor was so bad it made me give up going here. Speaking over patient asking questions about condition because they did not understand, refusing to address or hear concern, leaving in middle of appt, when advised that they did not get questions answered doctor came back in room screamed at me and my husband and then left. Anyone who does not understand a condition or diagnosis should be educated by the professional in a amlicable manner. When a medicine causes an issue and patient raises a concern dr should be able to communicate effectively and consider that concern. I find catherine laws bedside manner unexcuseable and i advised the administraitor of my concerns and requested a transfer of records to new dr. Also they set up unnessicary follow ups and teats because they love to make extra money off your insurance company.
