The entire office takes the Covid19 pandemic seriously in every regard. I was referred to Dr. Sills by my retina specialist so I had a comfortable feeling that this would be a good experience. Dr. Sills was personable and I felt that he was up to date in his knowledge, impressed with the thorough examination and explanation of my eye problems. I was particularly impressed with his modern diagnostic equipment, too. I will have no hesitation referring family and friends to Dr. Sills.

Dr. Sills always keeps up on the latest diagnostic technology. Since they dont have to dilate my eyes , I dont have the pain during or after my exam. They are always helpful in helping me achieve my eye care goals. Everyone in the office is friendly and makes me feel welcome.

I called there on Monday with a painful eye problem. Dr Sills took me right in and examined my eye. When he realized the problem would be taken care of better by an ophthalmologist he made an appointment for me right then and there for that day and never charged me a penny for that visit. They were so friendly and down to earth....I cant speak highly enough of Dr. Sills and his office staff. I would recommend them highly. I will definitely go back when its time to renew my prescription glasses.

Ive been seeing Dr. Sills as a patient for over fifteen years. He has earned my trust through his professionalism and he is truly a consummate gentleman. It should be noted that his current staff is as absolutely marvelous to interact with as his previous. I firmly believe that that is a testament to the man himself. Dr. Sills follow up after my eye surgery has been professional and exemplary The exam equipment he uses is very high tech and comparable with the best eye surgeons in the state.. I have eye insurance. I had an appointment yesterday with dr. Richard sills @ six mile cypress Walmart. I was very disappointed this time. He took my eyes picture and didn’t ask me before that insurance will not cover that. If he asked before taking picture I would say no. Because I have no problem on my eyes. I am using only reading glass. Why then I need to take picture. After everything he charged me Full amount for that picture in addition of my copay. The reason of my sharing is that please ask them before do check up Request them to do what you need to do. Not for money making . And also requesting dr. Sills please ask patient before do any chargeable testing. I will not back to your chamber because of that. Money is not everything but transparency and honesty really important for this type of profession.

Very clean, very professional and exceptionally updated equipment

I had a wonderful experience. The girls up front were welcoming and pleasant and very helpful. The doctor was great as well and explained everything in great detail. I loved all of the up to date equipment. I was extremely pleased with my visit.

For such a popular spot to get your exam,contacts and glasses I felt the staff took time, was warm friendly and interested in how to best serve the customer (if your lucky, you will get Micky) .. the doctor was great and the staff shared thoughtful insight “pun intended” best eye care I’ve received in years.

Dr Sills and his staff are wonderful. The computers however are a little cranky. The lady that answered the phone on Monday however leave a lot to be desired. She was a little rude and could hardly understand her.

Came here a couple months ago to get an eye exam. The appointment was fast and no waiting line but there was a problem. They gave me the wrong prescription. I went somewhere else to get eye contacts and I had to go through another eye exam. They showed me Dr. Sills and Associates prescription vs. Opti Express prescription and that’s when I noticed that I was given the wrong ones. Dr.Sills and Associates were still blurry compared to the new prescription. Wasted money here for nothing.

After years of subjecting myself and my eyes to apathy, incompetence and high pressure sales tactics, I hesitantly made an appointment with Dr. Sills at Wal-Mart. My expectations were low but I was pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Sills , rather than a bored technician, conducted a detailed examination of my eyes. To begin the exam he asked me to take as much time as I needed to tell him what problems I was having with my eyes. He thoroughly explained his conclusions and recommendations. I highly recommend him and his friendly and accommodating staff.

I never thought that going to an Optometrist at a Wal-Mart would be a great experience. Well it was! Dr. Sills and his staff could not have been nicer and more professional. At first, I was hesitant to make an appointment because of Walmart. I wanted to avoid the Walmart environment and wanted to ensure a highly accurate exam. After entering the retailer, I took a quick left turn and entered the optical department (it has its own separate area). To my astonishment, the staff and eye exam utilized modern equipment that appeared to be of higher quality as compared to my previous optometrists office. This makes sense - after all, Walmart is probably footing the bill for the equipment (and they have the dough) whereas a private place with a smaller budget would more readily hang on to outdated equipment.Dr. Sills was calm, kind, and pleasantly mannered. He took his time and was very focused in gauging my visual needs and explaining options. He did not hesitate to write both the contact lens and glasses prescription. He made sure I was completely satisfied. In the past, Ive encountered optometrists who do not want to provide prescriptions, as this information can be used to buy glasses elsewhere. I assume this is because private practices often inflate costs of frames and lenses to increase profit margin. Does not seem to be the case here. Walmarts glasses are reasonably priced. Also, Walmart uses Nikon technology for the lenses and its own lens labs, so youre getting a better product than Zenni (my Zennis have noticeable lens inconsistencies). Also, the frames do not appear to be Luxottica, so that may make you feel better as well.I will be going here again and have been pleasantly surprised by the entire experience.
