Dr. Jim and Dr. Dave have been providing care for our family for years and have helped us overcome gluten intolerance, allergies and other health problems. Recently our daughter sustained a concussion during summer training at a U.S. Service Academy. She was placed on “concussion protocol” and continued her training and first semester at the academy and did so with many difficulties. Dr. Jim is truly amazing. I have been going to Dr. Jim for 18yrs. I travel 3 1/2 hours one way to see Dr. Jim, approximately 7 times a year. I’m quite active for my age. Dr. James Hogsed took time on Christmas Day to meet me in his office for an evaluation of acute back and hip pain. My family has been going to Natural Healthcare Professionals for over 20 years. Dr. Jim fixed a dislocated shoulder that I left the marines with while doing a physical for a job interview first. Thats how we met. Since he has fixed numerous injuries. I hurt my back so bad I could barely stand let alone walk or work and all the emergency room would do is give out pain pills which I refuse to take. He was out of town for two weeks but as soon as he returned after a 30 minute visit I walked out straight up and down and pain free. Ever since I tell people that story and insist hes a witch doctor because he works magic. Dr. Jim is truly amazing! He can heal just about any health issue you can imagine or come up with, and trust me over the many years that my family has been patients of his, we have definitely challenged his knowledge and skill set. I was scheduled for Hiatal Hernia surgery, which could of caused future issues from scar tissue. A friend recommended that I see Dr. James Hogsed before having the surgery to see if he could help me. Much to my surprise he did help me. He made a true believer of me and others who had seen me suffer for years as I went through continuous testing and procedures with other doctors. Dr Jim and the team at Natural Healthcare Professionals have been a staple in my family’s healthcare for almost 20 years. I had an issue in 2003 where I needed immediate help and blood tests and stool samples were 10 day answers. Dr Jim found that I had a parasite issue within 30 min. I had lost 25 lbs and was in bad shape. The symptoms began to clear up before I even got the results from the blood and stool sample and Dr Jim had the exact same diagnosis.

Without a doubt, Dr. Jim is one of my favorite people in the world! He first started treating me 22 years ago when I was a college athlete suffering from a chronic foot injury. I had been seen by leading sports medicine physicians in two states, physical therapists, and received specialized therapies from athletic trainers for over six months with little progress. After one treatment from Dr. Jim, he diagnosed the issue and provided immediate pain relief. Since that time, he has successfully treated multiple dislocations, vision difficulties after Lasik surgery, cranial nerve issues, airborne and severe food allergies, headaches, severe sinus issues, parasites, neurological issues, severe adrenal dysfunction, back pain, and chronic insomnia. Dr Hogsed came to our rescue a number of years ago when my daughter wasn’t talking even though developmentally she should have been for quite sometime. I became concerned that she would never be able to speak. I took her to see Dr Hogsed and he found some dysfunction in the Speech Centers of the Brain as well as in several Cranial Nerves.Dr Hogsed treated her on 2 occasions with cold watt laser and with sensory- motor integration techniques and “like magic “she began to talk.In fact, she became such a chatterbox I told Dr Hogsed on a later date that I occasionally wondered If he could undo the treatment so we could have a little quiet time.In reality I thank God for giving me a beautiful “verbal “daughter and for giving Dr . My family started to see Dr. Hogsed 20 years ago when my daughter had severe ear infections. I didnt want to do tubes and didnt need to after Dr. Hogesd had treated her. Then came myself and my mom and dad. As he was treating my dad, my father went to a regular MD and was told that he had the beginnings of Prostrate cancer. Dr. Hogsed gave my father a magnet to sit on for about 6 months. When my father returned for a follow-up to his regular MD, the screening showed no more prostate cancer showing. Then in 2007 Dr. Hogsed found a small Subarachnoid hemorrhage. My father had an MRI that showed nothing. A week later he went back to the hospital with a full subarachnoid henorrhage and passed away. Dr. Jim was able to find this when the MRI and CT could not.With my mom she will soon be 85 and sees both Dr. Hogsed and his son David Hogsed on a monthly bases. I highly recommend Natural Health Care Professionals of Southwest Florida. I have been treated by Dr. Jim and Dr. Dave for almost 10 years. When I was 13 I was diagnosed with macular dystrophy. All of the medical doctors said there wasnt any treatment for it or anything that could be done. I even went to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. I’d like to tell you a bit about Dr. Jim but first a little history on how we became his patients.My wife, after we relocated to Florida from Ohio was just completely losing her health at a young age of late 30’s. We moved to Florida for sunshine health and activity. Together we ran the gamut of normal healthcare which we both been in professionally for already 20 years. She had been seen by GP’s, Gastroenterologists, and finally Oncologists / Hematologists; many tests, scoping procedures and much blood work had been done with no conclusive results. The usual comment was that of “you have variances but nothing that we can treat with for right now, come back when its gets worse” or we can change to a different medicine when this one doesn’t work anymore”. A friend told us about Dr. Jim as they and their family members were patients of Dr. Jim. Being as we both were familiar with OMT as well Chiropractic medicine we didn’t hesitate, however we thought it a bit out of the norm as to what a D.C. do to help.With the first visit Dr. Jim could tell the twinkle had gone out of my wife’s eyes. I live in the Daytona Beach area and drive 4 hours, past the largest Chiropractic College and Clinic in Florida, past hundreds of other Chiropractic Physicians’ offices in order to see my Chiropractor, Dr. Jim Hogsed, in Fort Myers, Florida. If necessary, I’d drive even further, as he is truly a very gifted and skilled Physician. I call him the Sherlock Holmes of Diagnosis...a” Diagnostic Detective.”Years ago I was referred to him by my mother, an RN working at the South Texas Medical Center located in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Jim at that time had a Clinic adjacent to the Medical Center . My mother was a patient of Dr. Jim, and according to her, he was highly respected by the Medical Physicians in the area and they regularly referred patients to him due to his excellent diagnostic and treatment skills. She also said he treated a lot of celebrities, and if lucky, I may get a chance to see someone famous at his Clinic.My problems at that time were frequent headaches and losing consciousness if my elbows were bumped. I went to natural Healthcare Professionals because of multiple food allergies and symptoms that just would not go away Dr Jim detected a number of airborne allergies ie.. various mold as well as food sensitivity to gluten and pork which cause migraine headaches as well as high blood pressure with tachycardia after several weeks of treatment I was allergy free and could eat gluten and pork without horrible migraines and my sinuses cleared up after months of congestion and discomfort Dr. Jim treatments for food and airborne sensitivities are truly remarkable thanks to dr.
