I was referred to David Park by my TMJ specialist in Manhattan. I had been working with general PT locally and was feeling tremendously hopeless. Working with David has been transformative. He coordinates with my specialists, he is SO knowledgeable, and I can feel he truly cares about my well being. He has helped me get to a much better, much more functional place and I will always be grateful for the ability to work with him.

Very professional, courteous, friendly, and all highly skilled therapist. This is the best practice in Bergen County to go to for all your therapy needs. I am always impressed and satisfied with services received and I was able to leave the treatment having a good understanding of what was wrong. Many PTs use a lot of big terms that are hard to comprehend but David is your man if you need someone to articulate exactly what is needed and why.

Had chronic back pain for the past 15 years. I went to several chiropractors and PT’s, and although the pain would lesson at the time of service, there was never a solution or even a real prognosis of what caused the pain. After repeated recommendations and high acclaim from my wife I finally went to see Dr. David Park. From the beginning I felt that the service here was different from anywhere else I have been before. From the peering questions that were being asked to the hands that felt for the misalignments in my back, I finally felt I met a doctor who wanted to get to the root cause of the pain and provide a permanent solution. What started off being a back problem opened the way for Dr. Park to recommend a better way to walk, sit, and even exercise.

David is honestly someone that loves his job (maybe too much!). His patients always come first and he gives very good advice/explanations. All his sessions are hands-on so youre not sitting there with a machine attached to your body like other facilities (saying this from experience). Massage/heat therapy can be done at home in my opinion so the full hour you have with him, he does stretching techniques while teaching you how to do it at home as well. I recommend David to anyone suffering from pain whether its from headaches or due to trauma.

Ive been going to EQ for the past few months and it has been a life changing experience. David not only treats the symptom of the pain (like most PT places Ive been to) but he also looks holistically to treat the root cause through a combination of manual therapy and exercises. He takes the time to really listen and is very thorough in his explanations. David is on a different level than your typical PT.

After having an ACL reconstruction surgery 2.5 years ago on one knee, I have been left with an incredibly stiff and almost always sore knee. The surgery left me with a range of motion of half my other knee. Ive been to numerous physical therapists who always stated the same thing, Give it time, itll eventually come around. Well it didnt, and 2.5 years after my initial ACL tear, I was completely hopeless and convinced that I would have to live with my new non-functional knee. That is, until I was referred to Dr. Park. This guy is like a physical therapist black belt jedi master. All it took was 10 seconds of touching my knee to know why my knee was lacking the range of motion and why it was always swollen and sore. He relies on manual therapy to make changes in the way the joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments interact, which eventually leads to proper mechanics and motion. Unlike other physical therapists in which they hooked me up to a machine for 20 minutes while they go see another patient, Dr. Park works on a single patient for 1 hour! With each passing session, my knee felt looser and stronger and Ive finally regained the confidence to go back into sports. Simply put, Dr. Park has changed my life and I will always be grateful. Before you walk into your first session, just keep this quote in mind, Pain is weakness leaving the body. A lot of weakness left my body for sure and the same will happen to you.

Dr. David Park is great. Last year i hurt my back, my hip/left leg picking up my daughter and came to see David for the 1st time and within 2 days I felt significantly better, changed my understanding for physical therapy.Between shoulder, back, neck, leg issues, due to work posture, baby, weight and lack of exercise I have worked with my share of physical therapists and rehab specialists. I speak from a place of experience. The care at the clinic is extremely thorough, thoughtful, and responsive. Stella & Yuka are so friendly and is very accommodating. Ive learned a lot about how I can take better care of myself and maintain painfree days. Dr. Park is not like other PT and their mill factory like clinics where PT only sees u for 15-20 min and everything else is done by yourself or others. He gets to know you and your ailment quickly and works on you for a full hour. His methodology is phenomenal and is so effective. Ive referred him to my coworkers and we all agree he his amazing. Equilibrium is THE place for injury recovery, repair, and prevention. Ince you go to Equilibrium you wont want to go anywhere else.

My sister came here for PT and recommended it after she had gotten her treatment from David. I, too, need someone that can articulate very well and so i’m leaving this review for all of those people who’ve been to practices that say a bunch of gibberish to make an extra buck or two. The staff here and David genuinely seem to care for my health and told me exactly what it was that needed change. I sit in front of the computer all day as a million of other people do for work, I’ve decided to take control in my everyday health knowing my lower back was only getting weaker, which made me feel weaker and in pain. I not only see the difference in my posture, but I feel it and I feel great. It’s about the subtle changes that make your lifestyle different, all it takes is a little commitment and having someone that wants to make that change with me is something I will forever be grateful for.

Equilibrium NJ has cultivated a reputation for professional excellence in Bergen County, and it was easy for me to see why. I was very impressed with Dr. Parks chiropractic acumen, and he was very knowledgeable about acupuncture too.

I began to have lower back pain roughly around third months after delivering my first baby. By the time I first visited David, I had already gone to several chiropractic clinics and received adjustments and electric treatments which didn’t seem to help much. On my first visit, I asked David to give honest feedback on my condition and whether treatments would actually help me. I wanted to be absolutely sure that these treatments were designed to help heal my body. He told me that after 4-6 sessions I can expect some improvement. That analysis gave me a sense of clarify and hope. It certainly wasn’t easy for me to spare a hour in the middle of the daytime since I had to find a part time babysitter to look after my child while I’m gone. However, I knew that I had to dedicate myself to this treatment in one way or another in order to have a better life down the road. (I was also on an anti-depressant medication before I met David). I visited him once a week, and David always gave me homework-exercise to do for a week. I tried to do those exercises as much as I could and like David had said, by my 4th session, I was already off with pain reliever, and was waking up in the morning with much less pain. David always replied my e-mails whenever I had questions, and he always gave me a sense of hope for improvement and his treatments did turn out to be very successful. I highly recommend him for his dedication to his work, attention to details, sincere attitude toward his clients and ultimately for the positive results I have experienced myself.(For those who are comfortable with Korean..)I started having serious back and back pain about 3 months after giving birth to my first child. I went to several chiropractic clinics, but it was not very helpful, so after visiting a pain hospital, I was advised of physical therapy and came to this Equilibrium. David Park, in his first treatment session, asked me to analyze the cause and severity of pain and the direction of treatment through various questions and postures. Physical therapy, once a week, for an hour or so on a weekday, gave me the homework to find a part-time babysitter. Since I was taking up to, it was also the last hope card I could catch before injection/drug treatment that could have side effects. I asked the teacher about more reliable treatment progress, and when asked about how many treatments would I be able to feel a little better, the teacher had to receive physical therapy 4 times for a short time and 6 times for a long time. They answered that the pain could be improved. As the teacher expected, by the time I did the fourth physical therapy, I stopped taking painkillers and I was able to do more movements than I do in my daily life. Dr. David Park accurately found and treated the sore spots that felt that the long physical therapy time of 1 hour was short, and he gave us the movements that can be done at home even after physical therapy, so that the pain can be improved more quickly. . On days when I was not receiving treatment, I also offered counseling and resolving any necessary issues immediately through e-mail. If you would like to treat your pain through more accurate treatment, I highly recommend that you meet David Park for counseling. (Yes, Korean is also as fluent as English, so I think there will be no inconvenience in communication.)
