Dr. Olivera is the BEST!! I have two girls that are 9 and 7. This was our second visit to the office and it went AMAZING!! Everyone is so friendly, caring, understanding and most of all patient. My girls were scared and Dr. Olivera was so amazing and gentle with them. SO Happy that I have finally found an amazing dental team for my girls.

Journey Kids Dental is an awesome place for children and parents.I have been with them for 4 years. Dr. Olivera greets you with a warm smile and the staff welcome you with love. They care and they are patient with children. (If you ask me they SPOIL the kids without giving them unhealthy treats). The environment is safe, clean, and wonderful. The smiles are all genuine and contagious. I love this office so much that it is an 45 minute commute back and forth and is well worth it for me and my precious gems.Thank you Journey Kids Dental for comforting me when I wanted to cry and for allowing us parents to have access to a 24 hour line for emergency issues.

Great place! We are high risk for covid and the staff was super nice, they have the same air filters we have at home, n95 masks and face shields. The x ray tech went above and beyond for my daughter who is super scared of x rays and the dental hygienist was actually able to clean my daughters teeth which is huge because she’s so scared of the dentist. The doctor was super nice and advised us on the best treatment plan! I highly recommend them!

My daughter has recently gotten her braces taken out after a long yet rewarding 4 year journey. Journey Kids Dental has made the procedure as easy and as painless as possible. They were great at working around me and my daughters work and school schedules and were always patient and precise during appointments, making sure we understood the next step before taking it. Ive been taking my daughter to Dr. Olivera since she was 2 years old and I have to say shes the only person I trust with her teeth! Shes the most amazing person and someone you can count on to be 100% honest with you. Its not your usual dentist visit to where your child would be scared. Its very welcoming and her staff is amazing!

We have been patients of Dr. Olivera and Journey Kids Dental for 5 years. Our oldest son was in the autism spectrum and we were referred to the practice for having the ability to connect with children with special needs. We absolutely love Dr. Olivera and the practice because of the intimate connection they provide for our boys. There is no other dental practice for us and now both our sons 5 and 8 years old are totally infatuated with Dr. Oliveras loving spirit and when Dr. Olivera was out on a leave of absence we were so grateful to have had Dr. Romero in her place and we couldnt be more pleased with the care she provided. We moved to Collier County a year and a half ago but it is not far enough to prevent us from still visiting Journey Kids twice a year for their 5 star service! It truly feels like family!

Dr Romero did an outstanding job at managing my child’s anxiety and reactivity. She worked quickly and effectively with a very difficult situation, & her demeanor was calm, caring and professional. I was completely satisfied with the consult. The dental staff that helped were amazing. So attentive & caring. In fact everyone in that office seems like they’re there because they want to be there. The leadership is obviously great, because all staff are working in unison, effectively & all share the same vibe. Would recommend this practice with 6 stars if I could

The best pediatric dentist in Broward County. The office staff, from front desk to assistants, are all very helpful, kind, and efficient. Dr. Olivera is very professional yet has such a big heart and unlimited patience with her patients! Office is always very clean and there is very little wait time for appointments. They also offer onsite orthodontics, which is very convenient for those of us with multiple kids and their mouths. 😊 I highly recommend Journey Kids Dental!!

I just want to say that I loved the experience here with Ms.Paiola. It was my first time bringing my Autistic child to the dentist. Him being in the spectrum is very hard to brush his teeth at home, so I thought it would be a complete disaster. Ms. Paiola was very patient and careful. She even lay on the floor with my child. Dr. Romero was so kind and sweet and very understanding. I will definitely recommend this office to anyone, even for those special needs kids. No matter the situation I feel like they will get the job done. Five stars for This office and the staff. Loved the experience!

The staff is nice and good with the kids but when it comes to us working moms I made the appointment for 1030 they didnt start doing anything until 1130. Waiting an hour is just ridiculous every time I have been there it takes almost 2 hours for a simple visit. I will be looking elsewhere to bring my kids.

We have been coming to Dr Olivera for a few years now. She is WONDERFUL with kids and she’s super pleasant and welcoming and friendly. She makes the parents feel like she really cares. Her staff are friendly and helpful as well. Nikki was awesome with the kids. Sometimes the wait can be long but I rather wait an hour for her. It’s worth it.

Do not bring your children to this dentist office they do not care about your child’s well-being, they do not care about the parents time, they do not care. all they care about is how much money they can get out of you. I had a lot more to say but Google said I exceeded my limit for the original review I was going to leave. For my parents who are looking for a good dentist do your research, i wish i did would have saved me a lot of money and time. Also look at their reviews they don’t have much complaints but they don’t respond to the ones the do have if that’s not a red flag idk what is. I will be creating a Facebook and IG post on my experience for everyone to be informed on how they really treat their patients and the parents.

The dentist lady ripped into my child gums while flossing and told me it isnt supposed to bleed like that when the dentist assistant did it before her it didnt bleed like when she did it she detached my child gums from her teeth I will not come back to ruff with children my child is only 5 now with gum problems

Usually dont write reviews but I feel compelled. This dentist recommend extensive work for my four year old. After getting a second opinion, the other dentist found that the expensive and extensive work was not necessary. Even found that there was no cavity in a spot where the Journey dentist said there was one. Please make sure to get a second opinion.

Today was my 5yr old daughters first visit to Journey Kids Dental and it was FABULOUS!! She had her 3yr old sister there for support as her first dental visit last year at a different dental office was horrible. I explained her prior experience to her dental assistant Vivi and she took such great care of all of us. She was patient, kind and fun with my oldest, so sweet to my youngest and she explained everything to me of what she was doing and what we needed to do for future care of her teeth - she was awesome! The staff was very courteous and friendly. Loved Dr. O! She was very patient and so thorough with her oral exam and letting me know what we needed to do for our daughter to have healthy teeth. The office is extremely kid friendly. My daughter showed up to her visit scared and unsure and left with a huge clean smile and ready to go back. I cant say enough good things about Journey Kids Dental office! Thank you!

The office, staff, and dental assistant were wonderful. The big problem was with them dentist and how she treated my child.

The worst place ever, the wait time is too long I have had them to cancel appointment on me. They have given me a hard time about a school notice, I’ve always asked for afternoon appointments they always tell me for what they are coming in for can only be done in the morning. They don’t tell you the insurance doesn’t cover certain things until you are there, instead of telling you when you make the appointment. You call you can’t get through unless you call 4xs back to back. Front desk staff is rude as hell, Horrible service this is the last time my kids will be coming back here. I would not recommend anyone here, not even an animal!

My little brother did his dental work at the Broward Health today. My mom was extremely scared but based on the team’s professionalism my bro was relaxed and was out of there with no pain and he is up and about happy. Dr Olivera is a very sweet and professional Dr, based on my moms report, And believe me if it wasn’t so she would have said so. The staff at the office is very kind. They made sure everything was in place on listened to every concern we had based on the fact that it was our first experience doing surgery,. We had been searching for a dentist since we moved to Florida from New York three months ago. They absolutely loved it from the moment we walked in. Neither one of them were nervous, the staff made us all feel right at home. My oldest has to get more work done, and shes actually looking forward to it! Dr. Oliveria is a wonderful woman, and is the only doctor that cared for my son, when when no one else would. I am very grateful for her kindness, as well as her warm spirit.
