Great doctor for any women care need. Very efficient office and the staff was very pleasant to work with. I had surgery with Dr. Gates and the scheduler was very kind and informative as well as Dr. Gates who will sit with you until every question is answered. I highly recommend this doctor to any women needing this type of care. Very kind doctor with great bedside manor.

This is the 2nd time I’ve used Dr Gates. The first for my daughter and now for myself. Could not be more please with the care he’s provided. Office is efficient and kind ,which is much appreciated when you’re going in for surgery. The overall experience was good. The staff is very friendly. The only thing was the wait. They do inform you ahead of time to set aside at least 2 hours. But it was mostly waiting to be seen. I would recommend it to others. If I ever need anything that my OBGYN cant handle, Ill for sure go to Womens Surgical Specialists.

How can words describe the skills of a surgeon who changed my life...Exceptional? Remarkable? Perhaps those are not even adequate.In the past few years I consulted with 4 physicians seeking robotic/laparoscopic surgery to remove my large fibroids. Sadly Ive been told that due to the size is was not possible. Couldnt accept NO for the answer and kept searching. Originally I had written a scathing review about the staff here because most of them are pretty curt and rude. The doctor is next to impossible to get a hold of because, frankly, there is a dearth of good doctors in South Florida and the decent to good ones are in extraordinarily high demand. However, Julie in billing made up for my experience because, once I did manage to get on the phone with her, she was willing to listen to me, talk through my issue, and even cut my bill because I felt I had been erroneously charged and the insurance company wasnt doing anything about it. So - for that - I am adding back many stars and revising my review.

Rude secretary..... remember good customer service starts from as soon as you walk in.... only one patient in the waiting room called ahead to say I would be late prior didn’t have my insurance card called insurance company myself so they can verify rude secretary said she needed fax over ....... long story short walked out call primary who referred me to another doctor called for an appointment did let me no I needed my insurance card explain to her I’m waiting on a replacement she then told me how I can upload one on my smart phone ..,......she got me in for tomorrow and I uploaded my insurance information on my phone that’s wonderful customer service and I haven’t even step foot in the office........
