DRT Behavioral services was nothing short of pleasant. The staff was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable during my visit. The Doctor and owner was very kind and welcoming. She spoke with such genuine enthusiasm for her field. The office was very clean and decorative. The walls were lined with framed degrees books and colorful artwork. It was a great visit.

DRT Doctors and staff were very prompt and professional from the minute of my first counseling till this day. As a retired military veteran.it has been easy to speak to a fellow veteran who understand veterans concerns in a confidential and sensitive matter. As a veteran we have very few options other than the VA who can understand and relate to my needs. DRT provided me a structured environment and taught me how to take advantage of coping tools to deal with transition. Civilian life. Thank you. DRT!

OMG. Let me tell you how much of a blessing DRT has been to me! From day one starting with setting up my first appointment, the staff has treated me with nothing but respect and patience. Amanda the office manager is an absolute angel!!!! She always takes care of me, no matter what i need. Sara is wonderful and sweet as well. I cant say enough great things about coach wells!!! Ive seen several therapist but for the first time i really feel like im being helped, for real! He has this soothing way about him and he is a great listener! Tammy is the absolute best! I was so afraid of medications after some bad reactions and she was so patient with me and understanding. She takes such great care of me and really makes me feel like she cares. Overall, i LOVE everyone i have come in contact with DRT. They saved me. If you want the VIP treatment and want your life back, come here! Oh and can i say how awesome it is to have a office full of people of color who are amazing at what they do and know it! I love it!

Dr. Thomas is a miracle worker and she was outstanding. I endured Vietnam twice, in the U.S. Army; recovered at Walter Reid for 14 months due to severe, combat-related, injuries and after that, I dedicated the remainder of my 30 years to my country.After retiring from the Army in 1996, I worked for the Broward County School District for another 12 years, as a JROTC instructor.My struggle with qualifying for 100% disability has been difficult and after suffering the trauma of my injuries and the after effects for so long, it was a blessing to have Dr. Thomas stick to her word. Today, after 15 years of missed attempts, I have 100% disability and to her I owe my gratitude.

I had the opportunity to complete 2 of my rotations as a PMHNP student with Dr.Thomas, she is knowledgeable,supportive and enthusiastic.You learned in a stress free environment.She is punctual,courteous and her team is just amazing.Her patients are happy when talking to her.Will definitely recommend DRT behavioral services for PMHNP students.

I have called in maybe two times to schedule an appointment for clients and have spoken to the front office and they have the most kindest attitude and very professional. Id like to give a shout out to Shawn especially he is amazing and was very helpful when I called to make an appointment

FINAL REVIEW UPDATE:::Just had my appointment with the therapist they assigned me to.... She took my call as she was on her way to the airport to pick someone up. The beeping from other cars, the muting of our call, the canned responses she was giving me because she was distracted, it was all just too much. *sigh* I tried. I really did. But this was disrespectful, hurtful, shameful. Sorry, but I can’t work with you all anymore.EDITING MY REVIEW:::Id like to extend a warm thank you to the owner of this organization. She was kind enough to call me and apologize for the experience I had. Again, Id like to emphasize that I had a great first counseling session a few weeks ago, so the doctors are absolutely qualified to do the job. In my phone call with the owner, I learned that a system outage was the result of my info not being complete, so the front desk staff was thrown off a bit. Things like this happen, so I was forgiving of the situation (I also had a chance to re-read my initial review below and.. yikesss -_- lol came in a bit too hot). In the end, Im glad to be continuing on with this group for my therapy needs._______________________________________________________________________I’ll give it two stars because the psychiatrist I spoke with seemed very helpful, relatable, all good. But these people just do not know what I want or who to refer me to. They keep trying to schedule me for medication but I JUST NEED A THERAPIST!! I’m not sure if it’s because your front office staff doesn’t understand how to do her job, or if it’s the therapists there who just keep wanting me to schedule these useless appointments for medication that I do not nor have ever needed just so they can keep taking my money, but I’m not getting the help I need here. When it comes to therapy, you have to be very careful how you deal with people. I was very excited to try this place because the staff is all black, but if you all are just going to schedule useless $145 appointments for me without listening to me, then how can you possibly help me? I’m actually heartbroken.

They just werent the right fit for me. I dont think they understand me cause I feel like I opened up and I dont like opening up cause I dont like people in my business. Therapy feels like I shared my business and thats it. I feel like keeping busy all the time has helped me. Therapy just isnt for everybody

DRT Behavioral Services has clearly been designed with the overall well-being of clients in mind. Upon entering the office, there is a relaxing ambiance that quickly takes you away from the noise of the outside. In addition, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff made me feel confident and comfortable with services being provided. I had an appointment with this office on a Saturday (new patient). First things first, I could not get into the building after using the dial box. someone had to let me in. Second I filled out the necessary paperwork in order to see the doctor. The office attendant (male) asked me to pay the Copay prior to services being rendered. I told him I dont feel comfortable paying for services prior to them being rendered. He said I understand. Asked me to wait in the waiting are. A older woman (darker skin tone with a low cut) calls me out and says in this practice you pay before the doctor sees you. I told her I have never seen a doctor and paid them before being seen. She proceeded to combat everything I said with a personal experience from her. She calls the office manager and apparently the office manager tells her that I will not be able to be seen. Do not go here. This place needs to hire people who have etiquette and customer service skills.

Me and my husband attended the group theapy this morning and it was worth every min. The therapist was very well grounded in what she doing. My experience was nothing but astonishing. From the receptionist (Amanda- very sweet) and the rest of the staff (all very kind hearted people). The atmosphere and the office setting were just to good to be true. Very clean and pretty. We will be coming back next week :)

DRT Behavioral Services provided an AMAZING experience. I visited for a facial and felt like I left with a new best friend. This was my first experience receiving this type of services and of course I had my reservations. Before my arrival, I was given a reminder call which was a huge help considering my busy schedule. Paris provided me not only with exceptional service, but she educated me on the process, being a newcomer, and all the different levels of the service and what they do. How awesome is it to not only leave feeling confident and flawless but educated on the service that you receive. On top of all of that, as a Delta woman (BCAC SPR 19), I was given a DELTA DISCOUNT! I absolutely love the service and friendliness of everyone! I absolutely recommend this group of therapist led by Dr Delvina. Being a self proclaim intellectual, I didnt think I would find the help I needed however Dr Aleman has helped me put clarity to some unclear moments. Two thumbs up!

I love this office. I have been seeing Jackie Smalls for weight loss and I have done a great job with her help. I have loss 15lbs in 4 weeks. I feel great. I have also been seeing Dr. Delvena Thomas and she is AWESOME!! I actually love going to the doctor. DRT Behavioral Services is the best!

Today I was given the opportunity to visit DRT and I must say my experience was AMAZING!Upon entering I noticed how great it smelled in the office, Im a scents/aromas kind of guy and I will turn around and leave if the smell doesnt agree with my mood. Fortunately, the smell was ever so pleasant! As I walked to the front I was greeted by a smiling face by way of their receptionist. I waited for only few minutes before I was greeted by therapist Jameelah and her wonderful personality. Another thing I noticed in my visit here was that the environment was warm and welcoming it just puts you in a calm and happy state. Yessssssssss the way its decorated and the colors of the paintings and decor put you in a calming state. The shades of Turquoise, browns, and neutrals just made me smile. The best part of my experience was that Dr. Thomas even though I wasnt their to see her, she came and greeted me and took time out of her busy schedule to chat with me for a moment. Dr. Thomas is extremely humble and I would definitely recommend any and everyone to visit her office and utilize the services they offer. My husband recently passed away suddenly. I went into a very very dark place I didn’t know what to do or where to turn for help until I found DRT Behavioral Services. Dr. Naomi Jeanty and my Therapist Jameelah, I can’t say enough about them they’re compassionate, they’re patient and understanding with getting me back to where I needed to be. Based on the experience I had over the phone, I would not recommend this facility. I was hung up on, you should hire someone that has a little more patience to answer your phone. Just look at the rude responses theyve given to other reviewers.

I am a christian who deeply enjoys returning to DRT Behavioral services for multiple reasons. One reason is that I feel understood and the meddicle staff is not afraid to speak Truth into my life. I also love their offices decor, atmosphere and location. Finally the best thing about them, they were the only physiatrists out of around 10, that ever called me back, promptly too. 😊

Do not go here. They are unprofessional and rude. If youre going to provide mental health services then you need to start with having a staff that cares about the way they communicate to patients. Not following up with patient calls is unprofessional. I was not given complete information and arrived for an appointment when it should have been communicated that it needed to be rescheduled. Instead of saying that over the phone I was told by the office manager, Not to sound rude, but it not our job to tell you to contact your insurance company. This is NOT a way to run a mental health office. In addition to the lack professional etiquette over the phone, when I arrived the front desk person was wearing a hoodie as if she was lounging at home. While I was speaking directly to her I was approached by a random employee intercepting the conversation WITHOUT any professional introduction to who I was speaking to. How is any of that considered professional for a doctors office? The nature of your response to my comment proves how unprofessional your office is run. My complaint has been sent to the insurance provider as well. I have never been to an office that deals with mental/behavior health treat their potential new patients as I was treated by this office. I would not recommend your services to anyone.

Its unbelievable what people expect in a doctors office. I was there for an appointment and some lady didnt want to pay her cancellation fees from not showing for appointments. She also had a copay and wanted to be seen and not pay!! CRAZY! like what doctor sees people w/o taking their money first. She argued and was so nasty to the receptionist. I felt bad for the office and not only that my appoint started 20 minutes late because of this woman.

Shawn is the insurance person. At open house he explained to everyone about what copays are and deductibles. I learned so much I plan to change my plan to select one with a lower deductible...THANKS SHAWN!!
