We had a wonderful experience. My son needed an urgent appointment. They were able to fit us in that next week. All others were booked through November. Not a long wait and he was so sweet. Was very happy with this Doctor and office.

We havent even seen the doctor yet and I needed to come on here and complain. Hes been waiting two hours and all thats been accomplished is having my stepsons vitals checked.. I get that theres a wait in doctor offices, but this is absurd. Shouldve read the reviews before coming here or at the very least not made any other plans for the day. Do better.

Dr. Tucker basically saved my sons life. When no one knew wat was going on he was able to find the problem and treat it. He takes time with each of his patients.

Worst doctor, no one go this guy! Went to him as a kid and I partially blame him for such a bad teenage experience. Everything about him and his “patient care” was bad. The wait time was impeccable, he had no type of remorse or sympathy.

Dr. Is amazing. If you have to go do not go to the Weston office. Front desk do not care if you have an appointment. Was there for more than two hours and patients that came later than me saw the doctor first because they knew the front desk person. The other office was great. If my daughter needs another appointment I will go to the office in Ft. Lauderdale.

He is a very good doctor. You can tell that he love what he does. The waits are kind of long, but once he comes into the room his energy make you forget you was upset about the wait. I trust my child under his care.

I really didnt have a problem with Dr. Tucker, he was nice and informative. However, I cant give him a good rating because of the completely unprofessional treatment I experienced with his office staff. I still have not received a return phone call from the doctor and its been over a week. Yet, I spoke with his office staff several times but they evidently did not give him the message to call me. The written instructions I received were not the same information he told me in the office and I simply needed clarification and dosage information. The person I spoke with who answered the phone had the audacity to tell me that as a mother, I should have the instincts to stop a medication if it isnt working. Of course, I did, that is why I was calling to speak to the doctor! Instead I received rudeness and condescending advice from someone who answers the phones.

I HOPE PEOPLE LOOKING FOR A DOCTOR OR THEIR CHILDREN READ THIS AND LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR HELP!!I remember this quack. My Crohns Disease went misdiagnosed for THREE years from the ages of 13-16 (1996-2000). All he kept putting me on were horse pills for stomach ulcers. Yes I had some but they cleared up but I was still getting sick and worsening over time. He even said early on, It might be Crohns Disease but at your age its unlikely. He never seemed to take what I had to say seriously. He was very dismissive of my complaints of continuing pain, nausea and vomiting. Once the ulcers were gone and I was still in a lot of pain, I got the impression that he did not believe that I was in that much pain. THREE years of that. Finally my motherd had enough and begged the Orthopedic Surgeon she worked for to find another Gastroenterologist who knew what he was doing. At the time Dr Tucker was the only Pediatric Gastroenterologist in San Antonio Texas, so There was nowhere else to turn. The surgeon my mother worked for asked a colleague of his to see me as a favor as that doctor and the office had a general rule to not see anyone under the age of 18. I was 16 at the time. Its safe to say Dr. GUERRA saved my life. What Dr Tucker could not do in THREE YEARS, Dr. Guerra did in TWO WEEKS! Hed said that it looked like Crohns Disease but he, of course, needed to run some tests to be sure. With the usual battery of tests done, within two weeks of my first visit to Dr. Guerra, he diagnosed me with Crohns Disease. But the damage had already been done. Three years, leaving the inflammation of my small bowel had built up scar tissue, so while the treatments Dr. Guerra had me on took the edge off the pain, because of all the scar tissue, I was in constant agonizing pain. Because of this so-called Doctor Tucker, I had to have a small bowel resection at the age of 19 because by then, six years after I first started having symptoms, the scar tissue had built up so much it caused a complete obstruction in my small intestine which required me to have 26 inches of it cut out. BY that point I had been in hospital almost 4 months, the entire time without food, relying only on TPN to keep me from starving to death. My health was so poor that they informed me they would have the ICU ready for me because they did not expect me to make it. Well, I woke up in recovery rather than the ICU as I did far better than Dr. Guerra or the surgeon, Dr. Heliodoro Boone (A renowned surgeon in the US) expected me to. I even stood up on my own less than 20 hours later. Safe to say Dr. Guerra and Dr. Boone saved my life.Because of those first three years under Dr Tuckers care, I have had complication after complication . Everything negative health-wise can be traced back to Dr Tuckers incompetence. It really means something when speaking to Dr. Guerra and his Nurse Practitioner at my last appointment (hes been my Doctor for 20 years now) and they asked me who my Gastroenterologist had been before I saw Guerra, and when I named Dr Tucker, they both rolled their eyes and said they were glad that quack had been pretty much run out of San Antonio. You dont often hear doctors saying that kind of stuff about other doctors unless said doctor is absolutely terrible at what they do. When I first went to see Dr Tucker, I weighed over 250 pounds, when I finished the 8th grade. By the time I started my Freshman year of High School, I weighed 170 pounds. I lost that much weight over JUST A SUMMER VACATION, but he claimed it was just ulcers! How can any doctor screw up so badly?!Dr. Guerra saved my life, after Dr. Tucker nearly killed me. It has been 20 years and I am still furious at him. A failed engagement, the inability to hold down a job, or even leave the house most days. They can all be traced back to those first three years when even drinking water was agony. Dr Tucker had claimed that because I had been 13/14 years old at the time, it was unlikely that I had Crohns Disease. Well its EXACTLY what I had.

If I could I would give Dr.Tucker no stars because he neglected me and falsely diagnosed me with IBD/colitis but I never had it. I had an infection from my pet snakes but because it was Improperly the infection got worse, spread and now I have Crohn’s disease.I am 12 years old and put my trust in this doctor for the past year, and didn’t get any better. This is not ok!!!!!

I went to Dr. Tucker because my son was having stomach issues. The wait time was always long but I excused it because Dr.Tucker is the type of doctor that spends time with you, doesnt rush to get you out. I soon realized though that they are money hungry. After prescribing him meds, two weeks later when my son still was not well I called for them to change his meds. They wanted me to bring him in which is ridiculous considering they just saw him the week before for test results. When I talked to a friend of mine that is a doctor she stated that the dosage of the meds my son was prescribed was too high and that is why he is probably still having issues. Needless to say I have switched my son to another doctor.

The staff here are completely and utterly disrespectful and unprofessional. They could care less about the patients, and as a patient I know this all too well. There was even a time my medication was screwed up because of the staff and that left me in a complete crisis with my illness. Thank god I am no longer pediatric!
