Fantastic service. I have been going her for some time now & 1st time using there dental service. Gifted dentist & staff. Mad respect. I felt safe there & I have a weak stomach for pain.

I spoke with Ana who was a great help. She was working past her schedule and reached out to Dr. Scot in order to get my medicine. I think she deserves some sort of praise due to going above and beyond her job. Dr. Scott is also amazing he is very professional and listens and truly cares about his patients. He goes above and beyond his call of duty to make his patients are taken care of. Ana was absolutely amazing also. These are the type of professionals who will keep me coming back to CareSource for years to come.

There dental clinic is good. It is a low cost facility, so its usually crowded. But the wait in the office wasnt too long. The main problem is from the time I called, to the first appointment available was over 5 weeks. But there was no emergency.They did state though that if you have an infection or a hot tooth, that they can treat emergencies sooner. But for a budget clinic, Care Resorces is good.But I guess for very poor people, the fee of several hundred dollars, would be still too high. They need more funding. Especially in a state, like Florida, that has no Medicaid dental aervices.

Used the Dental facilities at Oakland park today and it was wonderful. Everything was well organized and I never even felt the extraction. Thank you Care. Will be back

Great dentist horrible management though. Dr Barnes and Ms Gwen are the best but the staff that is new is awful. Old staff that still work there are friendly and responsive. New staff is rude and last appt I had was for 3pm and I didn’t sit in dental chair until after 5pm. This is not the dentist fault though

I take my daughter here. The people I have interacted with have been nice. The lady outside who screens you before going inside is a sweetheart!The parking lot attendant is a humungous jerk though.

Only useful on a pure functional level. For a clinic that seems to specialize in LGBT patients youd think they wouldnt have deadnamed and misgendered me for the past 3 years at nearly every opportunity even after multiple frequent complaints . Rude staff, inadequate parking, mostly competent doctors.

I was turned away from care as an openly queer person when my partner receives the same help I was seeking from them with no insurance. Sus.

Please be advised, I have been going to care resource for Approx.10 years. I definitely have seen the horrible decline in services at care resource. Forget about contacting care resource it is impossible to talk to a human being. The staff try but get no where because short of staff and some staff are inadequate. I am writing this review to let people know do not go to care resource you will be sorry. I am working on transferring my medical care I have had enough of care resource inadequate care and the terrible ways patients get treated. Remember you have been warned about care resource this is not the place it use to be. Please do not jeopardize your health by going to care resource too many inadequate personnel and just not caring about patients health..

This place is so unprofessional! What a waste of time!

This company services all walks of life from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Many dont have insurance or are under insured. While many are recipients of programs like the Ryan White Foundation, state or federal aid. I have private health insurance through Healthcare.gov. Im fortunate.Its ALWAYS very busy here and they have three locations in South FL. I only started coming here this year because my health insurance changed and AHF Northpoint didnt take my new insurance, Florida Blue HMO.Its an old building that has completely been remodeled inside and out. Its just always busy. They have a patient portal one can log into if they need to communicate with their primary, request a referral or a prescription. Getting a response or an actual appointment can be challenging. They also offer telemed appointments.They have a pharmacy on site, along with a lab and a dentists office. A sliding scale can be implemented for those needing financial help. Its all about the community.For now, I like my new primary, Dr. Sheryl Zayas and will continue to adapt to how they do business and how we are all dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.

I have to find another place for medical care after 6 years. I simply give up here. They cant do basic stuff like make appointments or answer phones. Zero accountability.

Long wait time They make you stand in the heat for hours with no updates making you feel like you have been completely forgotten about and have to actually bother the staff to get a update. Going up to the 3rd floor back down back up back down its like the place hasn’t heard of phones yet!!

Worked with this place now for almost 6 years. Bad experience with a Nurse Practitioner after 3 years finally got a MD for problem. Housing case manager and her boss are both a joke. At the beginning of this year had no help finding a place. So after 2 months I found a place but it didnt work out because of roaches and more money was asked than previous. Then the shutdown occurred in March 2020 tried to contact housing but return calls. 6 months later medical case manager contacted me I told her I was still homeless so she sent housing an email back in June 2020 still no answer and it is going into August 2020. Called again left message and still waiting for an answer to get a place to this day 7/25/2020. I would not recommend this place at all and I am going to find another way to solve this and that would be to find a better resource and not this one.

Overall all staff, are helpful, caring and highly qualified. I enjoy Doctor Scott and Doctor Zayas they truly listen and care. My therapist Jordan is by far one of the best therapists Ive ever had the pleasure to work with. Even the the ultra efficient receptionists are wonderful. I would highly recommend Care Resource.

Dr. Scott is always friendly along with the rest of the staff. They are willing to listen and find solutions to not only your medical needs but you personal situations as well. Most places that offer the services available at Care Resource, usually have staff with horrible attitudes. I was shocked to see how nice everyone is. Thank you Care Resource!!!!I would also like to thank Dr. Scotts assistant Rosalita for always being so polite and promptly answering all my texts and phone calls. They are a great team and make the experience that much more pleasurable

The appointment scheduling service advised that a referral was not required for. THIS WAS INCORRECT. I missed my appointment and had to reschedule due to this! Very annoyed.

I don’t know what I would do without Care Resources. They help me so much and I thank them for everything they do for me. Dr Scott is great and so is Yoli. The dental dept I will forever be thankful for. Dr Barnes is awesome. He worked on a tooth that should have been removed. He knew how much I wanted to keep my teeth so he did the impossible and made it happen! I appreciate Dr Martinez as well becuz of her, she’s giving me my smile back. She told me stop crying we’ll get a treatment plan going and you’ll have your smile back in no time. Thank you, guys for everything!!!

Received a call yesterday, stated my medication was ready for pick up. Arrived at 10:50 today and was told to wait outside. Someone will call me. Waited for an hour and 15 minutes outside to pick up medication. I when back inside and Was told I will need to wait another 15 minutes before my medication will be ready.

I have been a patient here for over 2 years. There has been a few issues since I started coming here. However, every problem Ive had has been addressed and resolved with some persistence. It seems that people forget that this is a clinic. They have a high volume of patients and do the best they can to see everyone they can. Yes you have to wait but you get seen. No, youre issue may not get resolved over the phone but each time Ive come here, they addressed what I needed immediately and took care of what my need was. The staff is friendly and pleasant 97% of the time. (We all have our moments and our days. We are all human.) The doctors Ive seen have been knowledgeable and personable.If you are unable to see a private practice doctor, I would recommend coming here.

Unorganized. Departments dont communicate with each other. If you show up on time for your appointment, you sit and wait. I rarely am seen at my appointment time. I dont have insurance. If I did, I would probably go some place else.

They made a mistake on one of mu.orders but quickly called me and helped resolve it. Yoj will be waiting a while but theu are underfunded amd understaffed ao its not their fault. Thwy provide a valuable service to thw community.

Hi, Carere Resource is definitely God sent. From the first day I went there, they have proven to STAND BY THERE NAME. CARE RESOURCE, They truly do CARE:) starting with the behavior health department, Hugo the manager took the time out of his busy schedule to help & meet all my need at the particular time. As well as putting me with the perfect Therapist, Yolianys Villalobos which she to me is the Therapist from God Ive needed for years. To make a long story short, I thank God for Care Resource because I would not be in the great place I am today without them:):):).

WARNING! Do not use Care Resource as a Primary Care Provider (PCP). Care Resource is not adequately staffed, organized, or equipped to provide Primary Care services. The staff is friendly, but unfortunately they are also incompetent. There are many problems I have experienced with Care Resource. Care Resource has no way to address these issues, so the best I can do is warn the public:----they have terrible, inexperienced phlebotomists that will poke and stab you painfully many times to attempt to draw blood---they often do not have medicines or vaccines in stock, so you have to return to the office many times (and deal with more delays and scheduling problems)---about half the time they do not honor appointments. I have shown up and they say sorry staff is in a meeting----they never answer the phone---they do not follow through on sending prescriptions to the pharmacy or orders to the lab---they took 3 months after diagnosis to start treatment---they do not have weekend hours

This place is wonderful. All the different departments have excellent staff. Its not a place to go if you are trying to abuse the system. You have to follow programs put in place to help you. I hate to think where my life would be today if it was not for Sherly, JessMarie ,and Jose. When you feel so down and you think it is hopeless try this place. Medical and Dental are also great for low to no income with sliding scale. Treated as equal to those who have insurance.

I have been a client for over 7 years. They’ve been nothing but very friendly especially When you see the traffic they’re dealing with! I will never be able to deal with the stress they endure everyday, they address all my demand with professionalisms & courtoisieThanks to all the crews.

They finally have addressed the parking by having a valet hold your car no charge.

The staff shows no interest in their work and no respect for clients. The doctors? hardly look up from their computers and with the exception of the wonderful ladies in the lab and one CNA, the entire organization needs to be stripped to its core and restaffed. Where do they get their staff? Vacuous Employees Inc.?

1st I would like to thank the counselors on the first floor at the 871 W Oakland park location. They’re re very kind, sympathetic, and show genuine care for their patients. April 17, 2019 was the first time I ever visited a care resource facility. I have no insurance and was considered a qualified candidate for a voucher. When I got to the second floor the experience took a dark and cold turn. The reception treat you like cattle. They put you in a waiting room that is poorly decorated to wait an eternity to be butchered by the medical staff. Which I should’ve expected from the deli ticket dispenser they use as a patient number system on the first floor. Very distasteful! Furthermore, my name was eventually called and I went to the back to get my weight and vitals checked. The nurse took me to my room and completed a questionnaire. She advised me that a doctor will be with me shortly. As I waited and waited I accidentally fell asleep. I woke up and still no doctor. I stepped outside and the nurse told me that he’ll be right there. When the doctor finally arrived he looked so uninspired. I told him my concerns, he glanced at the sight of infection and went straight for the computer to type in the necessary data to send me on my merry way. He was new and still learning to use the system so a senior doctor had to step in and assist with the data entry. I was then advised of my treatment plan and they went to proceed with additional lab work, which I found odd. Especially when they wanted a second urine test. I had already urinated and couldn’t do it again. They wanted me to wait until I had to urinate again to give me my Penicillin injection. On top of that they now wanted to charge me for it. I told them I couldn’t pay and they tried to negotiate a lower price which I found a joke. Am I dealing with a doctor or drug dealer? First of all you’re a grant funded organization. ”non for profit”, Untaxed funds at that! In addition, the prescription brands you decide to market have already been paid for! They insulted my intelligence and tried to hustle me! Please let me step in as coordinator and fix this mess. I’ll do it for free! The fact that STI’s have not been eradicated blows my mind. Its a disgusting pharmaceutical/medical market strategy to retail a never ending supply of patients. Its a disgusting world we live in and these none for profit organizations are wolves in sheep clothing!

Care Resource use to be simple & very accommodating. However in my recent experiences things have gotten terrible. Wait time is bad and very little communication.

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! I went today for the first time the worst experience. No parking at all. The workers are RUDE!!! I waited for two hours and still had to leave after they called me cause their workers wasn’t there for my specific need. Then when I came back I waited another hour just for them to tell me I can’t be seen. Disgusting small waiting area.

New patient, never get out of there in less than 2 hours, the referral department is lousy they never actually get a referral done or return phone calls. They are a data mining operation that apparently gets paid more to gather info than providing health care. Everything is hurry up and wait. Horrible place, terrible go anywhere else. This place could not be worse if they tried, which they dont try at anything let alone provide health care. Do not waste your time here you will not get any degree of quality health care and know this fact, they do not care how much we complain, they just look right through you as if you do not exist because as far as they are concerned, you dont exist!

You need a proof of income to even be seen by anyone, or it’s an outrageous price. The staff is unfriendly, unbothered and unwelcoming. (Diana, the front desk at the dentist especially) They make it seem as if helping you is a hassle. Building is dirty and reeks of pee and pest control spray.

The service staff is incompetent, they waste your time and are not able to tell you over the phone that an appointment was canceled or that you need to update the information of the primary doctor in your insurance, they tell you when you are already there and they also tell you that your call mailbox was full. This is not what it used to be, Im sorry for Dr. Sheryl Zayas, who is a very good doctor as well as the girls in the laboratory, the rest is useless, I had to change my health provider for more humane people.

Its been wonderful for me they treat you with respect they give an offer great services at highly discounted rates I wouldnt be able to afford any place else

This place is a joke! I was specifically told by the doctor that I had a voucher that would pay for an Exam, blood work, and a Pap smear. I come back for the Pap smear and am told that I have to pay $10 for the appointment. I was specifically told that I would not have to pay for this visit. Now I’ve missed work and spent an unnecessary $5 on the bus. I get they try to help people but this is hurting, not helping.

You cant get in touch with them to confirm your appointment and they want you to come like 50 times just for an appointment. The staff is nice but Drs dont seem very educated

Completely disorganized and overwhelmed with too many patients. Staff was over all rude and seemingly inexperienced. Not enough room or staff for this place to be helpful.

Community based health care -- low cost and very high quality. Not the fastest but fantastic in terms of quality care.

I love having Dr Scott Hall as my doctor, but the administrative bureaucracy is horrible. Call their phone number and enjoy the pain. If youre actually able to leave a message, enjoy your multi-day wait for a call back.

These people all have no common sense. They have no clue how to streamline the process. Dr. Yang is a horrible physician, she does not pay any attention or remember anything about you. Its like meeting a new doctor every visit.They dont understand and blame you the patient. Expect to always have to come back again and again because they are not efficient at all.

This facility is the worst place to get tested, I had a journey there:1st Monday: employees were in a meeting from 9 -122nd Same Monday: I spent my lunch time and half hour more and I could not get tested3rd other day, I got tested and they told me the results were complete and three days4th 3r day, I went for my results, and I spent and hour and half, and JUST I got a result for one STD, what about of the rest???? Well, I have to wait again for the other results... Really??? What do u think? Just I have time to be there and wait, wait, wait and wait??????The services is pathetic...TO ALL, go to a hospital or a private laboratory to get tested. Indeed, when you are paying for something, you get your results on time.I will never recommend this place

Updated: My last review was 3 years ago, and its gotten worse.My review then was one star, and now they dont even deserve that!45 minutes on the phone it took to get an appointment for labs, a flu shot, and a follow up appointment. That was 45 minutes AFTER I first spoke with a human being, who mostly kept me on hold because they had no idea what they were doing!My multiple years of experience with Care Resource has shown me that most of the staff is absolutely useless! They are overworked, understaffed, incapable of returning calls, inept at getting prescriptions to a pharmacy, unable to schedule appointments for immunocompromised patients in a timely manner, or even see their appointments within an hour of their designated slots. They are exemplary, however, in one particular arena: billing the federal government and insurance companies unimaginable amounts of money for sub-standard care. EVERY experience I have with them is cringeworthy, and I am reminded of how truly desolate the HIV care landscape is in Florida for those in the Ryan White program.

With zero experience some idiot stuck me with a needle. After it fell out, and my blood started going everywhere, he tried to rush the same (hissing) needle back into my arm.I really wish I was joking.

New patient, conducting an on going investigation in regards to trans-friendly services.So far, trans friendliness is at a minimum, despite offering trans services.At the counter I practically had to shout that I was there for transgender services, forcing me to out myself in front of strangers. The receptionist couldnt take the hint when I said I was there for HRT treatment.The intake form gave me some hope, it used all the right language and asked me my pronouns and preferred name.It didnt give an option for asexuality as an orientation though. Thats a big one to miss.So about four hours of waiting because at 12 the employees went to lunch (at least they were here honest about it) and at 2 the intake assistant was so hopelessly confused by the trans woman he was speaking to, he couldnt figure out she was trans and had been there previously under her dead name, so that took another two hours.How do I know this? From his discussion of it with another receptionist (?) and his abysmal and bewildered attitude towards trans people.Despite my preferred name and pronouns written right in front of his eyes, he deadnamed and misgendered me.He was asking about me taking labs, which I have no interest of, so I made sure that my intentions were made clear that I was there for HRT therapy, and thats it.He did a double take, reread my intake form, CONTINUED TO DEADNAME AND MISGENDER ME, and told me I needed to see a psychologist. Hmm....Why would I, a trans person, need to speak and seek approval from a cis person? Particularly one whose profession pathologizes trans identities, and my sexual orientation, and has a deep bias against my assigned gender.Is this guy even a doctor to make these declarations?So I told him that no I did not need to see a psychologist.He seemed a little taken aback, Oh, you dont?Clearly hes not even working from a place of knowledge.He asked me if I was SURE, [if I want HRT] and seemed visibly distressed. [that I am trans].So basically after all of that I received a voucher and an appointment.Who knows what hoop they will try to make me jump through next.Physical evidence is being obtained of these interactions.

I arrived at 12:05 pm on Thursday my number was 84 number 82 had just been called for std testing. One hour later I was still waiting. 83 nor 84 had not been called. Noone else had entered the waiting room except several employes caring thier clip boards and lunches laughing and talking to each other . I told the receptionist that I had waited long enough ( 1 hour) and was leaving,She took my number wadded it up and threw it away. It appeared to me that she could really care less. I went there this morning as it was convenient rather than go to my regular test place. I will not go back. If there was anything that I had to return for other time i dont want to be treated this way With yor employes additude. I prresume you have enough clients to keep you busy.

NP Krants is useless. He doesnt do his job rescheduling next appointment. Then he doesnt authorize your prescriptions when you already have your lab test done. The waiting time to get attention, even with an appointment, takes forever specially the laboratory.

Just tried to get in before the end of the day and I was turned away and told to come back tomorrow. Its very upsetting that the business hours of this facility is until 6:00 p.m. And you come in an hour before closing and the employees who are hanging out in the front lobby, are still getting paid for this remaining hour and they decide to not do any work. Even though their place of business is open for another hour for the business day.

Horribly unprofessional. I will be calling my health insurance provider to find a professional group of physicians.
