Maxine was recommended to us by our sons preschool and she has been a God Send for our family! I cannot imagine where we would be if we had not met her. She is one of the most caring people we have ever met. Our son adores her and is always so excited for his therapy days with her and always asks when he gets to see her again. She is always responsive to questions or concerns and always makes time to meet with me if I want to discuss our sons progress. She really listens and you know she cares!

After 8 years of going through all sorts of different types of therapy for my son (who has ADHD and PTSD) including Play, Parent-Child Interaction (2 rounds), Talk, Music, Animal Assisted and more Talk Therapy, I have finally found help for him, and us, through Cardinal Capers. Tonight my 11 year old son started a spiral melt down towards oblivion over the slightest issue, and about 1 minute in he went to his room and read a book. READ A BOOK. We have had about 6 sessions so far and are regularly doing the home work and I am astounded at the swift improvement he has made. Before Cardinal Capers, I learned how to manage my sons behaviors. Now, I see that his brain function is improving through individualized occupational therapy. I am also touched by the sincere care Maxine has for us.
