The food is incredible but they only have 15 beds a night for men so dont think you can realistically plan on ever getting a bed there, over 100 men try every day!

Not one of my proudest moments in life but i got to see what they do for their community and its nice to see people helping those in need. I know i was happy as i couldve been to not be sleeping out in the cold. Its just sad to see how some people try to take advantage of places like this and take resources from those who truly need them.

This place has some really good people that work there and try to do everything they can to help people who need it. But I feel they need more help from their city, a big donation to remodel it and make it a few stories bigger so people can be inside instead of outside. An that would make this beautiful city look way better. Thank you Rescue mission for all your help and god bless those who donate! :)... T.B.

I see God in this place. The programming is done with excellence and Jesus is at the center. I have seen many people come to know Jesus at Chapel, I have seen people set free from addiction, and because of the work of God through the Rescue Mission, people are taking appropriate next steps in their journeys. I volunteer at the Rescue Mission and last week as I was at the Mission, I was talking with one the guests, who, overtime has become a friend of mine. He asked me how my day was - and I responded that I was going through some hard stuff. He jumped up and asked 5 other guests to gather around me for prayer. I am so grateful for the work that the Rescue Mission is doing - there is really a light in this place and it has been amazing to see the spiritual transformation of guests over the last year. Much more to come - but I couldnt recommend this place more as somewhere to serve, love, and receive the love of God, too.

I volunteer at the Rescue Mission from time to time. It is amazing what they do for the community and less fortunate. They are best known for providing free meals, but they are so much more than that. They change lives!

I stayed at the Rescue Mission in Fort Collins for about a week and half. They dont really care about people. If you are not in that Faith Based Program you are not important. Yes, they provided me a bed. But, the food is not very good. I got where I stop eating there. I pray for the people that stay there that they can get help one day to be able to get a place to live. I will never go back there. The Rescue Mission needs to be shut down. They dont care about the homeless it is just a money making place.

This is a place where New Life can begin. The purpose of this shelter is to help people connect to resources around them. They can help direct you to short term and long term options available, while giving you the immediate resources of sleep and food. I know that life can be hard and homeless, but it you make the commitment inside of you, this can be the first step to the life you want.

Questionable morals? I guess people who forgo big money jobs and give of themselves to the less fortunate are questionable? Maybe others should look outside themselves as these do. Look to Jesus like they do who guides their hearts to helping, praise God they are here; they do all they can. They have helped me so much providing food and shelter as I battle to regain a stable life. Thank you Denver/Fort Collins Rescue mission.

The director Paula has a heart of gold. As well as the guy on the mens side. I guess it takes a good compassionate person to run the programs inside of this place. It is run by Christ like teachings.

Lottery system to get a mat on rhe floor. Food is bad typically. The staff there ARE nice to people. But. When i attempted to join their faith based program i was totally railroaded and not given a chance at all.People there steal the donations that are suppossed to be given out to homeless people. Ive witnessed it going on firsthand!

I recently brought a good friend of mine to fort Collins who just wants a different change coming from a domestic violent ex partner. Anyway her 2 week into staying she stuck up for herself when 2 guys and a female tried to start problems with her. Now she has been kicked out for 30 days no eating or sleeping at the mission and cant go to any programs they do that could help her off the streets. Yet they call themselves a mission by starving people, and even telling on one another so people who do have a good heart cant give out no more blankets or anything else donated to the mission. And of course the staff mostly behind this is none other then female staff Jessica who does most female programs and runs female sleep quarters side. Then got the nerve to say they are here to help people. How by turning them away and letting them become a cops problem? You are a place for homeless people to go to! Thats why I hate missions so cruel to some people. To hell with that mission and its staff

USA is a total failure. WORKING men get to stand on line for hours to maybe get a shot at a mat on the floor... I will NEVER return to America, never have a family there, never spend a dime in the American economy again... A country where working people are homeless is a FAILED EXPERIMENT. Utterly shameful.
