What an amazing experience!!! Krista is an amazing resource for expecting parents. Shes kind, caring, and knowledgeable. We cant say enough great things about this organization. The number of families that have been positively impacted by attending this class is a true reflection of Krista and the professionalism of the organization. If you do anything before your child is born, make sure you attend this class. You wont regret it!!! In fact, youll count your blessings that you did.

It has taken me over a year to write this review! Its hard to find the words to describe the class or Krista adequately. The class and Krista are AMAZING! I cannot recommend it and the breastfeeding class enough! I learned so much and felt incredibly prepared and supported. Krista is nothing short of amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, kind, helpful and a selfless human being. The friendships from class have been a much-needed support and the knowledge invaluable. Take. The. Class. ☺

I would absolutely recommend the Labor Preparation and Breastfeeding class. The labor class gave us all the tools we needed to successfully navigate our labor. We felt supported throughout the entire process and even contacted our instructor while at the hospital for advice. The postpartum class has been incredible. It is so helpful to be part of a group of people that are going through exactly the same thing as you. I would also highly recommend the breastfeeding class. I reviewed my notes during the first days after my son was born and the information was so helpful.

This class is incredible! We were literally prepared for EVERY. SINGLE. THING. that happened during the birthing process- and we had a very unique experience. The nurses even commented “we should hire you both” because we were so prepared. My wife and I can’t be happier with this incredibly helpful class! We recommend this100% to everyone!

This class was amazing! Instructors are very knowledgeable, and it equips you and your spouse not only for labor and delivery but life after the baby and how to navigate all of the challenges of having a baby! Not only is the information great, but the people you meet in class become your friends and support as you enter this new life stage!

So glad I took these childbirth preparation classes with Foothills, Krista was such a great teacher! My husband and I looked forward to the classes every week and were sad when they were over. I also learned a lot at the breastfeeding and postpartum classes. Being able to connect and talk with other parents about life with baby was so wonderful. When we have another baby, I will be taking the classes again ;)

My husband and I took the prenatal, breastfeeding and postnatal classes with Krista. She is AMAZING, and equipped us so well with knowledge we didnt even realize wed need to know going into labor and having a child. At first, we thought the series might be overkill being several weeks long, but we ended up looking forward to every class, and learned so much from each one. We would absolutely recommend this series to first time parents. Krista is a wealth of knowledge, and such an incredible resource to be able to go to during this time of change!

We learned so much through the childbirth preparation and breastfeeding classes while we anticipated the birth of our first child. We are new residents of Fort Collins with our families living far away, and found both the community of expecting parents and the support offered by Jodia and Krista throughout the course of the class to be so valuable to us! We had also hired Jodia to support us as our Doula in birth and it was hands down the best decision we could have made!

Jodia was my doula during delivery of my second baby and she was amazing. She is so knowledgeable about the birthing process and the tools available to help guide birthing moms through the process. I found it invaluable to have her help advocate for my needs and desires during delivery at the hospital. Her warmth, kindness, and positivity while coaching me and my husband through labor was so appreciated. I would highly recommend her doula services and childbirth classes to all expecting parents.

I just had the most enlightening conversation with Christa Garhart today. As a mother, it hasnt always been easy to find people who are able to listen to my problems without judging my choices and help me in such a compassionate, kind way. Christa is a lactation consultant and, for the first time, I was able to talk freely about my feelings and my problems with nursing without cringing inside. Thank you Christa for advising me to give myself permission to be the mother I want to be.

We took the childbirth and breastfeeding classes and learned so much! Krista and Jodia are a wealth of knowledge! We became friends with our classmates and its a lot of fun and helpful to have a group of people that are going through the same baby phases as us. We also ended up calling Jodia in halfway through my very long and difficult labor. My husband texted her to ask her for ideas when we were tired and dispirited and her reply was Ill be there in 20 minutes! Then she stayed with us for the entire next day and night. After laboring for 20+ hours without a doula and then 20+ hours with a doula I can strongly recommend having a doula. The classes prepare you for what to expect but the doula has so much more knowledge about what youre going through and suggestions on how to be more comfortable and get through the most difficult decisions. Jodia was awesome and she is the reason that I dont feel traumatized by my birth experience!

Even though our first child has yet to make their appearance, I can confidently say that my husband and I feel very equipped and empowered for whenever this little one decides to join us, all thanks to FCEA and Krista! If youre wondering if its worth giving up 7+ nights over a period of time OR if its worth the money...let me emphatically say ITS WORTH IT! The amount of resources, the wealth of knowledge, the community of families going through the same things as you, the safe place to ask questions, and the selfless support of Krista whenever you need it is truly invaluable! The classes...brilliantly taught! Not only do you get the info you need, you get the info in a way that connects to every learning style. Its engaging, interactive, and youll laugh a good deal. Krista is so approachable, empathetic, and unbiased in how she presents everything. I only wish I could learn more!! We also decided to take the breastfeeding class and Im so glad we did because it covered so much I didnt even know I needed...it exposed my insecurities but then built up my confidence with knowledge. Im really excited to do the postpartum classes to learn more AND to meet everyones new bundles of joy! I dont see how anyone would be disappointed in these classes.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!! I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Foothills Birthclasses and Krista Garhart!!! These classes should be required before birth! Haha My husband and I went into labor and delivery like champs feeling so relaxed because we knew so much going into it. We knew what could go right and what could go wrong from the beginning. Krista has the biggest heart for helping new parents labor and delivery go just the way they want to experience it. The post birth parenting classes were so special and we had 8 couples and 8 beautiful babies join in! It was priceless! Now all the moms have a group text that we ask questions and discuss issues with and we have also all gotten together outside of class several times. Literally life long friends and potentially for our children too! 😀Highly Recommend!!

Where to start? We came into this birth education class without knowing much about the birthing process as a whole. We took the seven-week labor-prep class that came with four weeks of post-partum education, and the breastfeeding class. We learned so much about labor, delivery, and life with our baby!Because of the knowledge that we got out of our class, we went into labor with confidence! We were excited to use the tools that we learned concerning pain management, we were encouraged by the knowledge that we gained, and we felt fully prepped for anything and everything! We ended up having a wonderful labor and delivery experience and we are so thankful for everything we learned from our class.Krista is not only a great teacher, she is also an incredible mentor and an outstanding source of encouragement. We had to stay in the hospital with our son an extra day because he had lost too much weight and when I called Krista, she came to our hospital room and encouraged me, ( I was an emotional mess), and helped us figure out breast-feeding!As if all of that wasn’t enough, we are so thankful for the friendships that we’ve gained in the other couples in our class. We’ve already gotten together with couples outside of class and we’re excited to continue these friendships as our babies grow!I know I’ve had a lot to say, but I could honestly go on and on. We will be eternally grateful for what we gained from our childbirth education class!

We were expecting our first child and were pursuing alternative medical practices for labor and delivery, as well as education on the process. We were recommended to Foothills by a close friend who had a doula for all three of her births. We also enrolled in the labor prep classes. During the classes we were introduced to a new member of the team: Jodia Peters. We later found out she was available for doula services. We had made a connection with her and knew she would be a good fit, but little did we know how good!24 hours from the time my water broke to delivery Jodia was available and by my side throughout the labor and delivery process. Her strength, spirituality, and peace were invaluable. We are most definitely enlisting her services for our future children and are forever grateful for Foothills services!

We registered for FCEAs 7 week Labor and Delivery course at the recommendation of our OB and it was one of the best decisions we made throughout the pregnancy...second only to working with FCEA for our doula, Jodia. This was our first child and we were surprised by how much knowledge we retained from the course, as well as the friendships that were made. Our course was taught by Liz Scully, and Krista Garhart led the Breastfeeding course. Both Liz and Krista were so knowledgeable, and even more important to us, they were incredibly responsive during the pregnancy and after when we needed realtime help with our infant.Jodia Peters was our doula during the labor and delivery and was so excellent that we have continued to work with her as a post-partum doula. Jodia truly feels like part of our family having been so supportive through one of the most challenging moments of our lives. My husband and I were both very hesitant about hiring a doula as we were new to the process. We made the decision at week 36 and it was incredibly beneficial to us both - physically and mentally - throughout the labor and delivery process. Jodia knew exactly how to help and move things along every step of the way.Big thank you to everyone at FCEA!
