We worked with Jodie to use the Avery House grounds/gazebo and carriage house for our wedding ceremony. Jodie was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive from the beginning! She made the process easy and stress-free, and was as flexible as possible with us. She made last-minute accommodations for us to use the carriage house earlier than anticipated, and was available throughout our event. We had a wonderful experience here on one of the most important days of our lives, and felt taken care of by Jodie!

From the greeting that we got, to the presentation of the room, and the bathroom, to the kitchen and how willing everyone was to make the experience. amazing as possible was astounding. The bed and the sheets were some of the most incredibly soft that I have felt in a long time coming from a bed-and-breakfast.

I went with a friend to visit Avery House earlier this week. We initially assumed it was going to be a short interlude in between other Fort Collins attractions, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trips! The house itself is stunning; having been beautifully restored to Victorian splendour, its charmingly reflective of the way its former residents would have lived. But its the docents who are the real stars here - theyre a group of incredibly passionate, lovely people who take every group of visitors around to introduce them personally to both Avery House, and the history of Fort Collins as a city.We especially enjoyed being able to explore and ask questions about all the small details in the house, from the furnishings to the lifestyles and stories behind every item. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone living in, visiting or passing through Fort Collins for how it lets you take a great look at one of the most interesting portions of the citys past.
