Was my first massage ever, and was phenomenal. Emili did a fantastic job working on my back and knees. Took out all the knots, and made it so to where there is no longer any pain or tension. Will definitely be coming back in the near future.The atmosphere alone was very soothing and relaxing. As well as the rest of the staff goes, everyone was very polite and professional.

Amara Massage is the first place I have ever gotten a massage at where I wanted to return again in the future. I have had a handful of other massages at different places and it just never seemed like something I wanted to come back and spend my money on. The massages at Amara actually feel like they are helping me regain some mobility and improve my back function. Its sort of a bit by bit process but it really feels worthwhile. I would definitely recommend it.

I had a massage at Amara and afterward suffered an ischemic stroke. The massage therapist was very aggressive with my neck and four neurologists agreed that my ischemic stroke artery damage was due to the massage. I will not have a massage at Amara or ever again.

I have been dealing with severe back pain and unable to do simple tasks like tie my shoes, put on pants, sleep, sneeze or sit up. I also have prior injuries causing me issues and had me worried about seeking massage.Eli was my massage therapist and did such a spectacular job that I will be returning for regular visits. She was gentle but firm, she targetted my pained areas but worked muscle tissue further away from the pain fixing my debilitating body pain. Clean, safe and helpful everyone was very professional and courteous. Price point seemed a bit steep but was well worth the money spent for their level of professionalism and care. 10/10 will recomend anyone seeking massage to Amara. 🖤

I love this place. Amber is amazing at prenatal massages and I always leave feeling better. She’s attentive to my needs, makes me feel comfortable, and really takes into consideration what I don’t like such as talking a lot during the massage. But she holds a good conversation if I do strike one up! The front desk has always been friendly, clean, respectful, and even knows what I need before I tell them. Great place and will continue to go there.

I ha e been going to this spa since 2014 when I lived in Torrington, Wyoming. It was worth every mile driven.. now, I live and work just up the street and the temptation to get a weekly massage is strong!Beautiful environment that has a calming magic you cant deny. Highly skilled massage therapists who are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.I love the weekly emails that notify me of openings - they have saved me a few times when Ive had migraines and needed help to relieve the tension in my shoulders, back, neck and... forearms (apparently?)I highly recommend Amaras team for relaxation and deep tissue, but if, like me, you suffer from migraines, I cannot encourage you enough to stop in for a session. Absolute miracle workers!There is a hotel and restaurant right above them so some noise carries down and cannot be avoided. However, once in the zone (and you will get there quick!) you wont notice a sound, you will be so lost in the moment.

I have been coming to Amara for about 10 years or so. Because my schedule is a little weird, I am often seeing a different therapist on each visit. That being said, I have NEVER had a bad experience. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and each massage therapist is incredible!

I bought a massage for my husband and surprised him with it in the middle of the work week. He came home feeling incredible, recognizing he stores way more tension in his back than he realized, and is now convinced he needs to get massages more often given how great he felt afterward. The process was super smooth. Service was great. And from my own experience at Amara, the setting is serene and inviting of peace and rest.

Had a custom massage with Levi. I have only had a couple of generic full body massages in the past. Despite only 30 minutes, Levi customized my massage to focus on my shoulders and neck and it was awesome! Like most of us, I hold a lot of tension there. He also recommended some great simple stretches I can do on my own. I had a medium pressure massage and thought it was the perfect amount of pressure. Also love the way he stretches your body during the massage. Who knew just having someone extend your body could feel so good! Thanks, Levi!

This place is incredible! I will not go anywhere else. I have had 4 massages at Amara over the last year; three with Kathryn and one with Emili (first time with her today) and I have always left 100% satisfied and relaxed. I carry a lot of tension and frequent sore muscles and they both work so well with firm pressure at relieving those symptoms and working through all of my problem areas. They always open the appointment by asking if there are any problem areas or injuries. This ensures direction, structure and focus to my massage to get the most out of the time I have with them. They always make sure the pressure is just right and check in on you periodically throughout the massage to make sure everything is going wonderfully. I always feel welcomed and my concerns are heard and addressed. They give you follow up advice and reccomendation tips on massage frequency for the best overall outcome. They make this experience truly relaxing and work through my problem areas giving me immediate relief. I am sure all of the other massage therapists are just as wonderful as these two. This place is amazing! I came because I got a gift certificate, but the prices are so reasonable! From the moment you walk in, the environment is calm and relaxing. The reception staff are so warm, friendly, and professional. I called ahead to check about what oils and lotions they use due to a skin/contact allergy, and the receptionist was so knowledgeable about the products they use there. Their oils and lotions are vegan/organic/natural, and my massage therapist used fragrance-free options on me that did not irritate my skin at all. When I came in for my appointment, reception staff and my massage therapist checked in about the products. It made me feel so relieved that they took my concern seriously and communicated about it.Amber was my massage therapist, and she was wonderful! She was very calming, friendly, and professional. She explained things very thoroughly and was very attentive to my needs.I will definitely come again!

Amara is a secret underground lair beneath The Armstrong Hotel where some serious magic is doled out! Catie, the owner, scheduled my appointment and suggested Emili based on my request for a deep tissue massage and firm pressure. I dont go to massage for relaxation. I go to work the knots out of my muscles.Amara is cozy and calm and clean. I chose [complimentary] eucalyptus aromatherapy and settled in under a heated blanket. I like that youre able to customize the massage to your trouble areas. In this case, I elected to have Emili focus on some tight muscles instead of do a whole body treatment. When I left, my stiff neck was erased. Emili will chat as little or as much as you like, and gave me some promising local restaurant recommendations.On the way out, I chatted with the GM, Devon. Everyone seems to truly enjoy working there and it shines through in their client service. They also offer some great discounts/loyalty programs.At Emilis recommendation, I took myself upstairs to Mugs Coffee Shop after for an iced coffee and morning glory muffin. Pampering complete!

This is hands down the best massage experience I have ever had. I had stepped away from the world of massage for awhile because I continued to have a pretty negative experience with it and had given up hope of a good massage. I was a first time customer at Amara and even just walking in knew that I was in good hands. Emili H was my masseuse this evening and I can’t give her enough praise. She made the entire experience wonderful and made sure that I had everything I needed. I cannot express how important self care is and this place is the place to do it. It may seem expensive but it is absolutely worth every penny and more. So excited that I found this place and look forward to more massages in the future.

I just received an amazing deep tissue massage from Emili. She was outstanding, really listened to me, found right where my pain areas were, and was able to relieve lots of pain and tension. Honestly one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever received, and I will definitely be back. Amara is a very welcoming place, from reception to services to checkout. Bobby at the desk is a delight and does all he can to make my stay convenient. Emili is an intuitive body worker and gets right into my trouble spots. She is strong and moves deliberately but gently on recalcitrant muscles which allows them to give. I hear wonderful things about the other therapists as well. The hot towels are a nice touch that make you feel pampered. Even without them, I would say its the best. Thanks!

I am not typically one to get massages often. For me, it’s a “treat” to myself once a year at most. I started coming to Amara last August and have to say, if it weren’t for Amber, I would probably still only be getting massages as an annual birthday treat. She is nothing short of amazing - her positioning, stretching, handling, massage techniques - all phenomenal. If you are looking to relax or work out some serious kinks, check this place out!

This was my first massage ever and I was very pleased. The staff was very nice and passionate walking me through everything. My massage therapist Kathryn was kind and asked me the perfect questions. When I explained I was a hairstylist she gave me a recommendation that I was not disappointed with. Asked me about pressure and reminded me to breath. Everything was extremely clean and beautiful. I loved how Amara was underground it was dark and quite you wouldn’t know that you were in down town fortcollins. All in all this was an amazing experience and I’m excited to be going back to see Kathryn again next month.

I did a 90 minute with Emili. She was amazing. Very attentive to my needs and helped explain things I could do to take better care of myself on all fronts. The environment and the entire staff were so welcoming and made it the best experience possible. I went in for treatment for severe pain but Ill return again and again because it was such an enjoyable worthwhile experience!
