I had a tragedy in the middle of my studies and was really struggling to get through the course. Student services and my instructor have been very understanding throughout this time. They truly care about their students and always make sure theyre doing their best. I cant wait to apply what Ive learned to the real world!

I’ve tried your traditional sit in a classroom college as well as online face to face instruction. Had to learn stuff much to fast. I start at USCI yesterday in the social work program and already love it! I can work at my OWN pace, still manage outside school life, pay a lot less then if I was using some kind of financial aide!

At age 76 I decided I wanted to go back to work and I wanted something that could be done at home (the virus dictated no travel). I researched and found U.S.. Career Institute, a totally at home program I could do in Medical Coding and Billing. No stress, work at your pace. Help is only a phone call away (for those of you like myself that still prefer the phone for my communications.) The cost is very reasonable. I intent to graduate before my 77 birthday. I recommend giving it a try.

I do not want to inflate them. (USCI) I researched them before I applied. They are accredited. I do not care for the no re-take policy on the quizzes. I do like the self paced studying. I do not like the idea of not being able to pay a little by. I am glad I went to college. It each time on your bill. Instead they want all their money.

The only people who are making bad reviews of this trade school are the people who dont want to actually WORK for anything. This school has absolutely NO deadlines for tuition being paid in FULL. Most American Universities expect you to pay off ALL of your tuition in full BY THE END OF THE SEMESTER. I was having issues paying my fees around the holidays, and the customer service team suspended my payments until AFTER the holidays. There is not ONE single University in America that will let you complete your degree or courses WITHOUT paying all the tuition in FULL first. The administration who make up USCI are very care-oriented, and they work with you on so many levels in helping you succeed. If I would have known about this school before I took 3 years of college at a University, I would probably be even MORE successful then I am right now.

School was a waste of money. Looking for a career change, I finished the medical assistant program but cannot find a job because I dont have Clinical experience. The school doesnt offer any externships or hands on training and doesnt give you a referral as to where you can even find an externship. Ive tried numerous job sites and agencies but its the same response every time, reapply after you do an externship or clinical experience. Maybe itll work out for someone who already works in a medical office but if you dont already have experience youre better off looking for a school that includes clinical.

I am new to the school, and I must say I am loving it, the CS experience is excellent, my instructors are very attentive, it is affordable, and for the negative comments we are all entitled to express our experiences all schools are not the same, you have to decide and choose what worksfor you, if this was not a legitimate school they would not be able to accept military financial aid,I would say to those concerned if you are going into the medical field it really depends on the Doctors or Hospitals and/or Organization you chose to work for, and that decision would be with any school. If you are receiving the knowledge needed in most cases employers are going to look into experience and skills, most importantly, again, it depends on that employer, regarding the most prominent schools or low budget, knowledge is knowledge.

I would give it zero stars if I could. I decided that I would follow a different career path, and not one offered through USCI. After paying all the tuition, I was told that I would not be receiving any refund, and that since I never started the classes, that I would also be required to pay back the discount I was given. BS school... dont waste your time or money with this scam.

Love this experience while youre trying to get it done at home because you wont get a job.Hospitals and Clinics dont look at you as completing or graduating because its not considered the same as going to a REAL school and getting your credits. They also offer a 100% money back guarantee then FIGHT with you about how you didnt follow every rule because they didnt inform you that you have to. This is the worst schooling Ive ever taken and I gained absolutely nothing from it. I still cant believe the false promises this place creates and then make you pay thousands of dollars for absolutely nothing. You are better off working towards a real school course than to go through this program. Rethink your position if you dont want to loose thousands of dollars on something that will never help you in life.

I am taking the Paralegal Certificate and It is a accredited institute they wouldnt be able to use military financial aide if they were not. My tuition was paid for fully by my CAA benefit only thing I paid for was I wanted copies of my books and I had 4 books that were 29.99 each because I cant read electronically. My mom is a lawyer and has seen the course work and told me it will fully prepare me for a career in the Paralegal field.

Dont do it!!!! HUGE waste of money! NO refunds!!! There are a ton of hidden fees and late fees when the payments werent late it was on auto pay each month. Not helpful at all. They only give you a small amount of course work at a time you you cant do a lot when you have time to do it. If you want to complete schooling fast this is not a good option! Do NOT consider this!!

This is in fact a terrible college. I started taking a course back in August of 2014 and then realized that it just wasnt for me. I called to let them know after one month (only 4quizzes had been taken). They told me I had to pay in full because I had completed so many quizzes. Now I am paying on a loan that is $900 that I didnt even go to school for. I dont recommend this school to anyone, please stay away. I need very badly to stop paying the monthly loan, I dont have the extra money at this time and they are making my life a real struggle. I could use that extra money each month for groceries or gas, instead Im giving it to these scam artist.

I went to the seminar tonight in Charlotte, NC after hearing about this great work from home opportunity. The commercial on the radio explained training was for free to become a medical biller and coder. Im excited I get there read the brochure, its a school (1st sign of scam). The seminar is for At-Home Professions. I listened to Bonnie speak and she makes it sound so easy and fun, but she said she will not be taking questions not until the end (2nd sign of scam). I waited until the 2 hour presentation was over to ask about accreditation AAPC and AHIMA after I explained about another company similar to AHP was not accredited. I decided to pay with credit card to take advantage of the great savings, only to come home and research and find the previous school that was not accredited, US Career Institute and AHP are the same company. Yep, its a scam and Im so mad I gave my credit card info. I will cancel tomorrow because Im within the 7 day no risk period.

US Career Institute is NOT an Accredited College, it is for training in specific fields. It is self-paced and they have professor online for help. The fee includes all books, quizzes, exams, flash cards and you also receive letters of recommendation and a diploma of completion. I took the Medical Coding Specialist course with US Career Institute, and I was able to get the training I needed to receive my CPC through AAPC without the apprentice because I had hands-on experience. I would recommend using US Career Institute because it prepares you for the exam and it is less expensive. I am in the healthcare industry and all employers have accepted it as training and it helped me to get my CPC.

WARNING STAY AWAY FROM U.S CAREER INSTITUTE.......This is NOT A REAL COLLEGE, I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A REAL COLLEGE, they are a big FRAUD, just out to collect your money. I did some research after the fact that I had signed up for this FRAUD course and found out that completing this course online was going to be a waste of my time and money because their online college or I SHOULD CALL IT A WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY B.S COLLEGE is not even recognized in the healthcare field. I had only completed 6 of their quizzes and had 21 more left to complete, so I call them to inform them that I no longer want to take the course and their trying to explain to me that I already completed half of their course so I would have to pay all of the tuition money. Note that the cost of this B.S course isnt cheap, it cost $1595.00 so they expect me to pay all that money for a uncompleted course. I dont know if they dont know how to count, but how can 6 quiz equal up to half of their course and if it was a REAL COLLEGE a person would have the option to cancel whenever they feels that the course is not fit for them without being FORCE to PAY NO RIDICOLOUS tuitions fees for UNFINISH course, they try to get a person to stay and complete their online course by forcing you to pay the entire tuitions fees, I will make sure I post this comment on every SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITE TO ALERT OTHERS TO BE AWARE AND TELL A FAMILY OR FRIEND NEVER TO SIGN UP for US CAREER INSTITUE FRAUD COLLEGE, and I wont stop alerting everyone until this fake COLLEGE go OUT of BUSINESS and CLOSE DOWN. REMEBER GOD DONT LIKE WHEN PEOPLE ROB or TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE of His people, SO AS QUICK AS IT HAD BEEN GIVEN TO YOU, THAT IS AS QUICK AS IT CAN BE SWEPT RIGHT FROM UNDER, their is a God Above Who Is More Powerful Than Any Man, Wait And Watch And See How He Works in Mysterious Way.
