As a Caretaker and son I was able to be present in my 79 year old mothers wellness exam. They were very professional and not rushed. They were very specific about what we needed to do prior to our appointment and I appreciated that type of detail.

They where my primary care briefly, but after being forced to play phone tag several hours today I learned they do not follow the informed concent model of trans Healthcare and refuse to refill medication iv been takeing for years. My experience with Rocky Mtn family physicians spans 35 years. The doctors, medical staff, office staff have always been caring, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They are simply the best family practice Fort Collins has to offer.

The office was able to get me in to see a doctor at the spur of the moment. I saw Trish, she is very friendly and was very caring for my needs. The staff is very efficient also, all were very friendly, kind and pleasant to be around.

So my experience at this so called family physicians office (can’t even capitalize it), I can say with personal experience was one of the worst experiences I ever had but not at first, At first it was ok, I am a woman in my 40’s & was having migraines for the first time ever, it was as bad as giving birth , So I called Rocky Mountain and was seen by a good Doctor, not naming & my migraines were managed & dissipated after about 6 months, So after a period of time i was due for regular exams and went there & asked for an anti anxiety drug and was treated like a drug addict by a PA! that was fine no problem, did a drug test & passed! The problem was I had my follow up appointment which I scheduled 2 months in advance & they said it was Dismissed when I tried to reschedule for the same day!

I have recommended Clark Duncan, Linda Hudson, randy Schull to RMFP in the past few years and they are very happy with your service you provide. I have been there for 30 yrs and will continue. Please change my records to Michelle Brokaw. Thank you

I love that they have openings almost every day for urgent concerns. You just call 1st thing in the morning and they can usually fit you in that day. I have felt well-cared for by all providers Ive seen, whether they are an MD, NP, or PA. They really take the time to listen to your concerns and are very willing to partner with you in your healthcare decisions.

This is a crazy time, but RMFP have been excellent providers of our health care. I appreciate their quick response to questions, and believe that they have my best health interests in mind.

I have never had a doctor’s office fail to send my prescription to the pharmacy. Apparently my doctor did not “have time” and actually went home for the day without sending it to Walgreens. I called a few times that day. On my last call, a nurse said to me, “Maybe someone at this number an help you?” And forwarded my call to an answering machine without any explanation. I left a message, though I did not even know who i was talking to, and of course they never called me back.I was a self-pay appointment and for $150 I definitely expected better. It is the next day, and they still have not sent my prescription.

Katha is the best. She genuinely cares for you and about you. Takes the time to listen and find solutions.

The whole staff is super nice, Ive been going here since I was a kid but recently been having a lot of issues getting my medication on time. Not sure what communication disconnect there is but Ive had issues getting antidepressants and inhalers after appointments 3 times now, unfortunately Im done with this office

I have been going to this practice since before I was born, yes you heard right. My mom went them while pregnant with me, I have seen pretty much everyone in their office, my family goes to them, they even found my grandpa’s cancer many years ago and got him the best help! So that being said, in my 30 years of being there they have always always been amazing! I wouldn’t trust anyone else. ❤️ Always polite, professional, friendly, caring, and compassionate! ❤️

After having a confusing and terrible call with the insurance company, the receptionist at the desk cleared everything up for me in a kind and efficient manner. I have been very disappointed with Rocky Mountain Family Physicians lately. I have been dealing with abdominal pain for the last few weeks. Dr. Samuelson ordered tests to see what was causing my pain. The tests came back and I could review them on the UC Health portal. I had questions on the results of the tests and asked for Dr. Samuelson to call me. Instead a nurse from the office called me back. I respectfully told the nurse that Id like to talk to the doctor himself to ask specific questions and still have not heard back. I will be looking for a new doctor that will call their patients back when they are not feeling well!!

I have seen multiple providers at RMFP, they are all amazing! Each have been patient, taking the time to understand the medical issue and care about your well-being outside of clinic. Always welcoming and value the importance of integrity.

I have been in and out of hospitals and doctors offices more than the average person and only wish I had this type of care from my previous doctors. Mariah always returned phone calls quickly and answered every question I had. Dr. Reichart is nothing less than great. She listened and responded to every concern of mine. She was the angel I needed during a very rough time.

Ive been going to Rocky Mountain Family Physicians for my primary care for 7 years, and Ive always found that I have gotten great care there. I am giving a 3-star review due to recent experiences there during COVID-19 with their front-desk admin staff inconsistently wearing masks. I am writing this review when COVID-19 case rates in Colorado are increasing by 30 percent per week and Larimer county from caution Level 1 to Level 2.About 6 weeks ago, I visited the office, and the two admins at the front desk had their masks pulled down, and they did not pull them up when I came to the desk. I spoke to the health-care provider, and they thanked me and said they had been struggling with this and it would be fixed.This morning I went to the practice again, and the admins again had their masks pulled down and were chatting when I entered. I stood by the door for a moment, and they pulled their masks up when they noticed me. When I needed to go to the desk later, one of the admins had their mask pulled down to talk to the other. The behavior had not changed since my first visit.It is very surprising to me that inconsistent mask wearing is currently allowed at any doctors office. There is now extensive evidence of COVID-19 transmission within confined indoor spaces, even when people stay more than 6 feet apart, due to the smaller emitted particles that do not fall. Google reviews does not allow links, but searching for COVID-19 Airborne Transmission Indoors in Google Scholar returns many studies on this. Masks are particularly important when speaking because we emit far more particles when speaking than when breathing. Note that because the emitted particles evaporate water after being emitted, they shrink in size, and masks are more effective at removing the larger particles being emitted rather than the smaller particles being breathed in. While I cant give links here, one can search for statements by the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians about the importance of mask wearing.Again, I have felt I have gotten great care from Rocky Mountain Family Physicians, but I struggle to understand how they allow the staff to take masks off for conversations, especially since workers in much larger indoor spaces, where emitted particles have much more room to diffuse, such as grocery stores, appear to be very compliant with mask wearing. I would like to continue to go there, but I do not feel they are taking the simple steps to protect their patients, and I have a high-risk individual in my home.For reference, I am a scientist at Colorado State who studies airborne particles and has recently researched the efficacy of various actions to reduce viral exposure. Can search for Quantifying Proximity, Confinement, and Interventions in Disease Outbreaks: a Decision Support Framework for Air-Transported Pathogens for the report.

My husband and I have been going to RMFP for about 5-6 years and are so happy with the service we get here. We used to go to a much larger family medicine provider in FOCO & felt like a number. Prescriptions were pushed at us left and right but not at RMFP. Youll get personal attention at every appointment & Dr Kauffman is great- always takes the time he needs to listen to me & I never feel rushed.

I saw Emma Reichart, PA and she was wonderful!! Very thorough and very bright. I highly recommend her. The entire staff at the office and over the phone, were also very pleasant.

During my time as a patient with this company, I have felt that all staff has been extremely helpful, professional, and a great example of patient advocates. The receptionists are polite, organized, and very on top of keeping in contact with patients and getting them in for appointments that work with their schedule. The nursing staff is one of the most exceptional staffs I have encountered- they stay on top of patients requests, are efficient in their work and are enjoyable to be around. The physicians hold patient advocacy at the top of their priorities and they will work as a team with their patients to reach desired goals and provide good resources. The physicians are ethical and have a real desire to help their patients. Id like to specifically Katha Maguire. Katha is a physician with Rocky Mountain and she is truly an amazing doctor; I would recommend her to anyone. The level of care I have received from Katha has been unlike any physician Ive seen and I am thankful she is in the position she is in. Id also like to mention her nurse, April; April shows empathy towards patients and is amazing at her job. All around an amazing staff and patient care.

My family and I are new patients at Rocky Mountain Family Physicians, finding a new family practice after our move was a huge concern for me. I am thrilled to have found Dr. Kauffman. His entire office and his assistant, Kim, have been absolutely fantastic to work with. I had a tricky insurance debacle, and they helped me navigate through it so that I wasnt alone. Their level of communication and patience was terrific. I know that if my family ever needs them, they will be there for us. So happy to have found them!

It was fast and easy to schedule an appointment, there was little to no wait on arrival to my appointment, and Tricia was wonderful - attentive, asks questions, thorough, and seems to really care about her patients. I will be coming back.

I wanted to write a review to praise the office manager, Carrie (sp?). There was a really terrible billing matter that arose from a series of clerical mistakes. I was beyond frustrated. Carrie was the first person in the process to make sure that the error was completely rectified. Its very refreshing to know that there are still people who recognize mistakes, own them and correct them in a respectful and professional way. I cant give 5 stars, because the experience there leading up to my interaction with Carrie was annoying and unnecessarily time consuming.

Everybody at RMFP is kind, empathetic, and communicative. I’ve always received solid care.

Been going here since I was born. I have always been treated with dignity and respect throughout the years. The doctors go above and beyond to make sure you get the most out of the appointment while making sure you are comfortable during the process. I have been to other offices where it seems they dont even look at your chart before you come in, let alone remember who you are. Here they are very personable and positive during all interactions. From the schedulers to the nurses and doctors, everyone does a fantastic job! I would give them 10 stars if it were an option!

RMFP has always been there for me. Their caring, competent staff couldnt be kinder or more compassionate.

Sammy calls me randomly to check on me and makes sure my needs are being taken care of and acts as a liaison between all my specialists when the plan of care seems to have hit a wall. It was such a relief to know someone cared and was looking out for me when I was feeling like just another number lost in the medical system.

Ive been a patient at RMFP for over 9 years. Ive seen different providers here although Im partial to Dr. Samuelson. Dr. Samuelson and his MA are fantastic. He listens and takes his time with me. I could not imagine having another primary provider. I tell anyone who asks for my recommendation for a family doctor to go see him. Dawn is awesome and always calls me back within 24 hours. I realize Im their only patient and that Im not going to get a call back in an hour. Although it has happened! All the staff here has been kind and caring. Do not expect anyone from this office to return your calls, ever.

I went here for about 6 months or so. While my primary care provider was friendly, the office staff left something to be desired. Often when I would call to make an appointment or talk about something important, I would be on hold for a very long time if I was lucky enough to have them answer at all. When I needed to reschedule appointments, I would call beforehand and no one would answer, and there would be no option for me to leave a voicemail. As a result from missing these appointments and being unable to get in contact with staff about it, they dismissed me. Their operations are unprofessional. Oh, and on my last phone call to them, I was on hold for 15-20 minutes before they picked the phone back up just to let me know I couldnt go there anymore. If youre a working student like me and dont always know what your schedule will look like from week to week, and theres a chance youll need to schedule appointments and reschedule them later, dont bother going here. Find another practice that will answer their phones.Even worse, they messed up my medications. It really threw me off and I still havent recovered from it. I took my last dose the day before my appointment, which was on a Friday afternoon. They said they would send my new refill prescription to the pharmacy right away. I called later that evening to see if it was ready, and sure enough they hadnt gotten it. Since the office was then closed for the weekend, the pharmacy wouldnt have been able to get the prescription until the next week. I ended up having to go a week without my medication, which has now affected me for months thereafter because of the kind of medication it was. I shouldve known then that I needed to switch to a different doctor.

I was very pleased with this practice until about 6 months ago, when I called for a same day appointment, which they advertise. I was having asthma problems, but they had no appointments, so I wound up at Urgent care. Asthma is kind of a big deal, so youd hope as an established patient, theyd work a person in-especially since they advertise these same day appointments. Thought it was a fluke, but when I called yesterday, they had no appointments until late next week! Dont advertise what you cant deliver!

I was recommended this practice by some coworkers since I have only recently moved to the area. I was experiencing some severe back pain and nerve issues and needed help on where to get started in my care and recovery. At first I was nervous by the negative reviews, but they were not descriptive of my experience at all! The staff was very friendly even on a Saturday morning (I was SO grateful to find they took weekend appointments) when they were so busy with phone calls and appointment requests. I met with Dr. Kauffman, and although I knew he was busy, I felt like his only patient when he was working with me and was referred to a specialist who I LOVE. I definitely recommend this group

I absolutely love this practice! As a middle aged woman, Ive had my fair share of doctor experiences over the years and Ive never had a better experience than I have with this practice. I believe I have seen all of the providers here by now, and they are all exceptional and caring. I especially love Dr. Kauffman. He is one of the most reasonable and caring. All of the nurses are great as well, especially Amber! And then the front desk-fantastic! I recently was incredibly ill, and the young woman Charissa, helped me to schedule an appointment right away and was incredibly friendly; just really made me feel important and I knew I was good hands! Also, I recently had a complicated situation with my daughter and was very frustrated, and Charissa let me vent and then helped me figure out the problem. Hands down, from the first phone call to walking out the door all of the staff is amazing. I absolutely recommend this practice to any and everyone

I had been going to Carrie Reynolds for several years and liked her, but then she moved out of state. This year I tried someone new here and she was nice but she misled me in what is actually included in the annual physical as far as what insurance covers. I asked about my thyroid levels and needed new bloodwork ordered which Dr Reynolds always included in my yearly visits. And this woman said itd be covered this time too, but I got a surprise bill in the mail and contacted billing about it and they have not helped me since!My female exam was also extremely awkward and she had trouble doing it because she claimed my uterus was posterior. Im 29 years old, never had an abnormal exam of any kind, never had a Dr who had trouble getting the damn swab up there. It was ridiculous and awkward and uncomfortable. Im furious they are charging me for literally talking about getting bloodwork that I have always had done multiple times a year without a charge. I will never go back here again.

If I could put no stars I would. First of all, the whole staff is very disrespectful and always seemed angry so they took it out on the patients. Secondly, when I first started going there I specifically asked them before I made my appointment if my insurance covers it all, they said yes I will never have to pay anything, my insurance will cover it all. I haven’t been a patient with them in 2 years and I don’t even live in the state anymore but all of a sudden they started sending me fees in the mail saying I owed them money after the fact that they said I would never have to pay anything and that my insurance covers it all. When I called and asked them to please stop sending me these and they need to take care of it with my insurance, the lady on the phone rudely said “I don’t know what to tell you, that’s not my problem” and disrespectfully hung up on me. I have never been treated with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. This is the worst practice I’ve ever been to.

I recommend based on my first experience today. Got in the same day I️ called staff was not rude. Wait was very short and my Dr. was helpful and thorough.

My experience here was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had with medical professionals. Everyone was kind, caring and professional.
