Chris was great. My mother in law got candle wax down our drain. Chris took things apart and got a lot of wax out. He went even further to avoid having to snake it out if even possible because the wax was so hard. He problem solved and was able to pull out the remainder to save us a lot. He was also very great with our 4 YO curious boy who was hovering over him the whole time. He also showed us the build up in our pipes and recommended a cleaner for it was not aggressive in recommending it but described its benefits. He showed up promptly didn’t ask for a lot finished promptly and cleanly. Took an awful experience and made it the best outcome possible. Thank you very much.

I cannot believe that I forgot to post this review when it was written last July 2021, after Lion provided septic maintenance services at my home. Especially because of how impressed I was with Lion and their septic maintenance person named Blake.My septic system had been having problems for years. I worked with three other septic system companies to nail down the problem, but each failed to figure it out, which cost me over a thousand dollars. Two of the three septic companies proposed replacing my septic pipe filtration system to the tune of another two to three thousand dollars.Finally, I found Lion Home Service who sent an individual by the name of Blake. I could not have been more impressed with this individual. He showed up on time, was polite, professional, honest, friendly, and willing to do the extra. Having this attitude, Blake was able to figure out the problem, which had to do with a floating plastic ball that had become dislodged from the filtering mechanism and obstructed effluent flow.Blake literally saved us thousands of dollars, and I have since committed to using Lion Home Services for all my household needs.Thank you, Blake, and Lion Home Service.

Hoyt with lion home service provided us with outstanding service that exceeded our expectations. He was very friendly and professional. He kept us informed on the progress of our job. He got parts through the warranty we didn’t know we had and it was sent quickly. After the work was done he explained everything so I could understand and how to check to make sure our hot water heater continued to work correctly. Billing was handled on tablet at conclusion of his work. We were very pleased with Lion Home Service and Hoyt we plan on using them whenever we have plumbing or electric issues.

We were impressed with this business from the beginning when we got both a call and an email letting us know that a technician was on the way. In the email, there was a photograph included. I also received a call from the technician, Archie, providing an ETA. He gave us a quote to install radon mitigation for our new home. He came out two days later and installed it. The builder had not included an outlet in the attic, as we were told. Archie not only installed one at the same quoted price, he went to Home Depot to obtain some extra parts for the job! We just wanted to express our appreciation for the excellent job Trent Thomas of Lion Home Service did on October 14, 2021 for an emergency service call on our Lennox furnace that stopped working all of a sudden in very cold weather. We truly appreciate him doing that. We were impressed when he put covers over his shoes when he arrived and also placed two mats down when coming in our front door. Wow! Lions technician Savannah Yoder never fails to impress me with her knowledge and professionalism!!! I’m buying a new home and I needed a second opinion on the heating and air in my home, I am under contract for. She saved me from having to pay for a new system on my own, after going under contract for the home. I had an inspection and I was not comfortable with their knowledge of the system. So I called lion home services, and requested Savannah Yoder who worked on my other homes system. She walked me through it all, showing the agent and myself what was going on, we renegotiated and after closing I will be hiring lions for a new system! Thank you Savannah! You are truly an expert in your field!

Both Matt H and Joe did everything that could possibly be expected. I had a Stiebel CK 150 Premium wall fan installed. Have now ordered a second Stiebel and signed an estimate for them to install it also. This is my third project with Lion and everyone who has showed up has been great. If I sound effusive-its because I am. When accolades are due-their due, as is the opposite when it happens.

I used them for Heating maintenance, 1st person did an awesome job with the cleaning and maintenance on our heating system, contract fell through on our home and new buyers wanted AC certified, Person that was sent out this time was not very friendly and I felt like was trying to get me to do stuff that the 1st person told me didnt need done right away. They had to reschedule me, my parents are also selling a home and they no showed 2 times and then called and wanted to reschedule the 3rd so they went with another company. Disappointed with them and will not use or recommend in the future. Two bad, talk about not consistent, 1st experience was great 2nd was not good at all.

Lion Home Service replaced my gas water heater with an electric one a year ago during the pandemic. It was an emergency replacement because the water heater had been backdrafting into my home whenever the temperature drop, making me very ill. Despite having COVID, my health and energy are much better than they were. Carbon monoxide was never detected, so I had a difficult time finding a company who would listen to my concerns. There was evidence it had happened on the top of my water heater where the gaskets to the supply lines were partially melted. I was able to figure out it was still happening by correlating the melting of plastic milk bottle caps with VOC readings from an air quality meter. Im not even sure it needed to backdraft to be a problem, though. If I was a person with a natural gas water heater, I would check this out ASAP. Incompletely burned natural gas releases methane and NO2. I am a neuroscientist and am concerned about what these volatiles are doing to peoples health and cognition. I suffer from an autism spectrum disorder and my symptoms were greatly affected by the cyclic nature of my water heater.Not only did Lion Home Services not make me feel crazy, they communicated effectively about every step of the process, were on time and solved our problem. Its been interesting recovering from years of breathing methane, and I am thankful that I am not the only one aware of this problem now as research on the negative effects of natural gas stoves is finally being published.

A/C was tripping the breaker on a 100* Friday afternoon. Called around to various other companies and Lion was the only company willing to bring a tech out ASAP to resolve the issue. Blake was very friendly and entertained all of my questions. He freely handed out advice and was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He went out of his way to get the parts needed to repair my unit on a Saturday and the turn-around time was half of what I was expecting. We had a fantastic experience beginning with the initial phone call about a septic issue. From there, a plumber called us back to walk through the issue and triage the problem. They were unable to fit us in when it happened (Friday night), but they kept us updated and told us outright that they would be able to get to us the next morning between 8-10am. Sure enough, we had a phone call at 8 am the next morning by a very kind man explaining that Blake could be to our home around 10 am. Blake was wonderful to work with. He quickly understood the issue, taught us all about what was happening, and remedied it in a timely manner. Thank you Blake and Lyon team! These guys were professionals from the beginning. Ryan came out and performed an estimate and went over everything with us in depth. On the day the gutter installation, Ryan arrived first and we went over the removal and installation again before the crew arrived. The crew got rolling about 11am and by 2:30pm they were cleaning up and departing. The gutters and snow bars look amazing and quality of work is outstanding. On a separate note, the guys went above and beyond and even helped me fix a loose support rod on my chimney while they were on the roof.

Project manager Thayne did a super job of evaluating our HVAC needs for a retrofit. He was enthusiastic and professional, with a good sense of humor.Ultimately we decided to go a different direction with our project and so were unable to use Lions services. No complaints about Thaynes work or the Company at all.

Every tech (Blake came today and was awesome) that has been out to our home has been great. Only thing I don’t like so much about this business is the $99 diagnostic fee and additional $29 fee for them to come out, as that is quite pricey. That’s the only reason why I docked a star.

He presented us with four custom estimates to choose from, allowed us to think them through, and promptly returned the next day to resolve the issues. I called Lion Home Service because my brilliant puppies chewed the wiring on my water heater. They responded quickly and came out right away. Obviously, that’s what the one star is for. I was told that they would be able to fix it same day. The repair guy came and looked at the damage, and told me that this was a very big issue and it would be $1400 for the repair and the part I needed was on back order. I was told I was better off getting a new water heater and having a project manager come out. My husband, who was not happy what the puppies did (who would be), was very upset to hear the news. Another company, who asked for pictures and gave a quote via text, got back to me and said they would be capable of repairing, but not same day and that it would be later in the week. I had the other company come out, they looked at what happened and fixed the wiring in 20 minutes and charged less than $300 for the entire repair. I’m not faulting the repair guy who came out and gave me a horrible quote. He just never saw this problem before. Totally understandable. I’d rather have honesty and be told they never saw this before, then to be told it would be $1400 or a new water heater when the two parts were $34 and $15 (in stock) and labor was a little over $135 per every hour and a half. Boom. Problem solved and I had hot water in an hour. Like I stated, just be honest and say that your repair guy didn’t know what to do instead of trying to get me to purchase parts (or plans) that were unnecessary or a completely new unit. Lion Home Service is pricey and the repair guy didn’t know basic rewiring. That’s what it came down to.

Scheduled a technician to come out between 9am-11am on a Saturday. Appointment was made several days in advance. I called about 15 minutes before the end of that window, as I was told Id get a call when the tech was on the way and had heard nothing. Esther apologized and told me I could call back if the tech was late and she could check on an expected time. About 1.5 hours after the window ended I called back. I was told the tech was at another job still and they were not able to give me an estimated time of arrival, but could call me back and possibly do a phone estimate. I agreed to this, expecting to hear from someone within the next hourish. 3pm rolled by and nothing. I called and told them to just cancel everything at that point. I had already completely rearranged and wasted a huge chunk of my day off for nothing. Will not be giving my business to a company with this little value for customers.

Lion home services came out and solved my electrical problems in a timely and professional manner. They were concerned with safety and had to be sure no harm came to their team when crawling under my house. So we fogged for bugs and spiders to be safe. once clear they came back and finished the job professionally. Will highly recommend them to others and will most likely go back to them in the future.

Before hiring this company to do any work, you should do two things, get a second independent estimate, and read the Yelp reviews for LHS. The Yelp reviews give a much more accurate idea of what to expect. LHS gave me a crazy high estimate to replace my AC unit, so I got a second opinion and estimate , and couldnt believe that it was for less than half of what Lion Home Services quoted, I ended up hiring this small independent company, and paid $3,700 for the exact same job, and received better equipment than Lion Home Services had bid $15,000!Be informed, and do your homework, it paid off in a big way for me!

Overall when working with this company I have been happy. If something needed to be followed up on they did a good job of fixing the issue promptly. The techs I have worked with have all been a breeze and kind.

I am really pleased with all the work that has been done. Replaced my air conditioner and furnace. Today my vents were cleaned.They worked around my hectic schedule.All the technicians are professional and explain or answer questions.

Jordan Johnson came to our home to clean our dryer vent. Our dryer vent had not been cleaned in awhile. We all know how important having an unobstructed dryer vent. Fire is always a potential. The Lion electrician Logan Stagg performed a 5 star job. He is professional and someone you’d feel comfortable with in your home.Lion Home Service Did a good job fixing an electrical problem. However there were a couple of things we weren’t personally thrilled about with Lion.First, Lion tried to upsell us on a home surge protector before the project began. This is something that is only required in new home builds so we didn’t appreciate being asked to buy new equipment not related to the job that needed fixing.Second, Lion’s pricing is fixed which may be appealing to some folks but most likely not everyone. For the electrical problem we had, we paid a flat $330 for a simple fix. The full diagnosis isn’t made until after the job starts so it could be a bit risky since the job could turn out to be complex. Luckily this job was an easy one to resolve but for a more complex issue, it could get expensive quickly. Suppose the problem turned out to be inside a wall or in an inaccessible place, then the price would have gone up and you’d be out the $330 charge that you started with if you didn’t want to proceed with Lion.

Jake was awesome! They ran into a few problems like the coil being too big, but they did duct work to make sure they could fit it in! They didn’t cut corners and although it took longer than expected, our new AC runs like a champ and I’m so glad we went with Lion for our water heater, furnace, and now our AC! Thank you so much guys!!P.S. the other guy who was here was also super friendly and knowledgeable, but I have no idea what his name is, so if you’re reading this, thank you!!

Lion has installed a new AC unit a couple years ago and today installed a new heater in our home. They were very courteous, professional, and friendly. They worked so efficiently and even fixed a couple oddities with our system for no extra charge. Savannah was VERY personable and explained everything well. She did a great job along with her coworkers. I am not saying they are cheaper than others, because the cost of a heater is never cheap, but for that price, you also get clean, professional, friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Blake was very pleasant to work with and did a great job pumping the septic system. He is a hard worker and conscientious.

They did not complete the work and didnt fix the issue. More details to come.

We have hired them, but work has not been done yet. Ted Bertrand was awesome! He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. This company answered when we called and scheduled the appointment to get a quote and Ted came out the following day. Love the quick response and turn around. The quote was a very fair price. We also appreciated that they actually answered their phone. We called several companies and all but one other company has yet to even return our call. If the quality of work ends up being as good as Ted is we will be very happy and will highly recommend them.

My only issue is the cost of the repair. They give you the price upfront, but not knowing what was wrong and wanting it fixed leaves one no choice to sign. I am fine with the services rendered and Logans work; however, the charge seemed exorbitant.

She was extremely nice, very personable and trustworthy. We had to leave our house before they finished and she was willing to do my office first to make sure our cat was able to be put in there while they worked. She let the installers know to open the door for her and lock our front door when they left.

He reviewed the work previously done and honestly discussed with me what needed to be done to fix the issues. He was creative in his solution and willingly came out two days in a row to complete the work. He followed up with me to make sure the water heater was fixed with satisfaction. After a long string of other staff I appreciated the time and effort TJ gave to this job.

Out of six contacts, lion was the company that got someone to us same day of call. Other companies told us a week to a month to respond to our non working boiler and water heater. Representative was professional, wore a mask, and efficient! Highly recommend this company.

Doug and his trainee came promptly the first day & worked for ~10 hours then came back the second day for ~8 hours to complete the job. I asked a lot of questions, had some little things I wanted to fix around the HVAC system. They handled them all. This was a tear-out & replacement of old furnace & heat pump for new furnace and air conditioner.

Came found the problem and fixed it with my approval. Just didnt do it. And was quick as well.Very happy with the out come.

Theo installed a replacement smoke detector and a new socket. I’d intended for him to install a new light pendant but the one I already had would not work. He gave me a quote before starting and was flexible with what I decided to do or not. I’d have him back.
