Weve been seeing Dr. Alisha for almost 8 years now when my Chloe (lab mix - 14yrs in November) was having issues with limping. I was told by our old vet that she would need surgery because her bicep tendon was too tight. I knew there had to be other options out there besides surgery and Im so happy to have found Dr. Alisha. She has added so much life and light to not only Chloes life but to our family as well! She has also been adjusting our Golden Retriever (Oliver) since he was only a few months old, hell be 8 in November! I truly believe that if we hadnt found Dr. Alisha and Tails Animal Chiropractic Chloe and Oliver would not be enjoying their older years as much as they have been. Dr. Alisha & Dr. Marilyn are AMAZING! My 1st dog (toy poodle) has been going to Dr. Alisha for almost 3 years now & shes been great at keeping her little body strong & healthy especially since shes so little & likes to jump onto things. We recently got 2 new toy poodle puppies & they had their 1st visit with Dr. Marilyn. She helped adjust their little bodies & really opened up their chest since they were struggling with congestion. This place has been a game changer for my small senior dog. The veterinarian was unable to diagnose the cause of his pain. He was on medication for his pain and discomfort. The medication made him lethargic and unable to get up (go to the bathroom) on his own. I was worried he may never be able to walk on his own again. After his first treatment he experienced immediate relief and we said bye-bye to the medication. We now take him as needed and I have hope that his last few years will be more enjoyable.

I have eight Field Spaniels. All have been patients of Dr. Alisha for the past 3+ years. First and foremost, my dogs are part of my family and all get the best care possible. This includes regular chiropractic adjustments, no matter what their age. I can usually tell by watching their movement when they are in need of an adjustment, but dogs can be very stoic and hide their pain well. There have been times when I thought they were doing fine, but in reality, they needed an adjustment and it was truly evident after they were back in alignment. Two years ago, I whelped a litter of puppies and Dr. Alisha made a house call to adjust puppies and momma dog 24 hours after their birth. That litter was the most outgoing, well adjusted litter I’ve ever raised. I am a firm believer in chiropractic for animals.

Oh, my Angels! How could we put into words how much Dr Alisha, founder of Tails Chiro Care, helped our 2 senior rescued Huskies?! Our Mighty Mikey was very sensitive to being touched by people he didnt know. Dr Alisha warmly invited him to the appointments with our Garçon du Soleil, though Mikey wasnt quite ready to be treated those first couple of visits. Ive had the pure joy of partnering with Dr. Alisha, but she also helped my older German Shepherd when he was having seizures. Dr. Alisha is incredible! She is kind, sweet and all the pets love her! Cant say enough good things about Dr. Alisha. My 8 lb Yorkie, Delilah Rose, is the center of our home. When she got injured (more than once), it was really scary and pulled on our hearts. Once when we were playing ball, Delilah turned to quickly misjudging where the step was and slammed her head into it. Afterwards she couldnt hold her head up, couldnt pick up a ball or her chewy and would wince and squeak with pain if she moved wrong. Two visits with Dr. Alisha and she was back to normal. Most people dont even know this type of care is available for dogs. When we are walking with Delilah and I see other people walking their dogs that have a limp, I make sure they get Dr. Alishas card. We are forever grateful for her.

Dr. Alisha has been treating my English Shepherd for a year, and her treatments have made such a difference in his health. Dr. Alisha is professional, kind, and thorough. My dog was almost 12 years old when she started treating him, and he was stiff and sore in his hind end. With Dr. Alishas treatments he improved immediately, and monthly treatments keep him able to run and jump without pain. After one visit with Dr. Alisha Barnes, my Newfoundland, Judy, who had been walking extremely slow on our walks, was a changed woman. The next day she was zigzagging all over the field like a puppy again! My other Newfie, Claire, had 3 major surgeries within a couple months. Dr. Alisha gave Claire adjustments throughout this critical time as well as during her recovery. Dr. Alisha has been providing chiropractic care to our cat, Saphira, for several years. I love that she comes to our house for these sessions. Dr. Alisha has been an integral part of the team for the health and well-being of my animals for quite some time. Since I adopted my dog at 3.5, he’s always been a little tight in his back end and Dr. Alisha has helped him to have less stiffness. Before we stated seeing her, he checked every box (trouble jumping, slow to get up, twitching on his back, sloppy sit, limping) but now, he hardly ever shows those signs. He’s not always the most cooperative, but she’s great at working with him wherever he is!

I am so grateful I found Tails Animal Chiropractic Care. My senior kitty Yuki was having back and hip issues that the vet stated would likely cost several dollars to address. After two chiropractic sessions, Yuki is back to playing with her toys, moving around like she use to, and super cuddly. Most importantly, Yuki loved the sessions, likely because how much better she felt afterwards. When I first met Dr. Alisha my Australian Shepherd was barely walking or moving throughout the day. Our vet had given us two options - medicine or surgery. Because our dog is older, we didnt feel that either were good options for our pup. Since seeing Dr. Alisha, our sweet dog is able to get up and down much easier, and is walking around the house again like his old self. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Alisha. She has given our dog a better quality of life and I cant thank her enough.

I cannot praise Dr. Alisha enough.My rescue dog is a hyperactive Australian Shepherd/Cattle dog who loves running and jumping. Because of that, he tends to throw his joints out of alignment and, unfortunately, to get injured. Since he was previously abused, he came with some behavioral issues and isn’t one to readily trust people. Despite that, he took to Dr. Alisha the first time he saw her. She has helped him heal, time and again, without drugs, by giving him adjustments where needed. Worth every penny!! My standard poodle kept biting her tail and she had back pain for a few years that made her tail lay down most of the time. That tail is back in princess position, in the air! She feels sooooo much better. I only wish I had found Dr Alisha sooner!I tried chiropractic care for her elsewhere and even acupuncture. It did not help, her hips were out of alignment. Now, I drive 3 1/2 hours to Tails because it is WORTH it. Period.

Went for a first visit with my Min Pin to Dr Alisha. It was a very easy and most pleasant experience. Zorro loved the treatment and treats, he was full of energy for the rest of the day. Dr Alisha goes through the dogs history and is straight to work adjusting, massaging and stretching out any parts of the body that need it. Moreover, I got all kinds of great tips about diet and exercise. Would recommend TACC to anyone who wants the best for their dog. I will definitely be back for some more doggie wellness.
