I would highly recommend this place if you want to be filled with hope and find the cause to your health issues. I used to suffer with pain, tingling and numbness in my neck, shoulder and down my right arm for 15 years. I am a construction worker and this greatly impacted the work I did and my abilities. For years I would take 4-5 Advil a day just to get me through my work. I had tried other chiropractors in the past, but none of them took an x-ray and actually sat down with me to teach me how it happened and a course of action to fix it. My medical doctor took an MRI and told me I had bulging discs in my neck and that surgery was my only option, which I definitely did not want. My wife started at Mountain Valley Family Chiropractic and after her first visit told me I needed to go in and hear the doc out. Dr. Pala did testing before touching my spine, and after taking x-rays he did confirm the issues were coming from my neck, but that he was confident that my body still had the ability to heal without surgery if I just started removing the interference from the spine. It made sense and I started care with him. He taught me that the process in my neck took decades to happen, so it wasnt going to be a quick fix, which I appreciated since everyone else only offered me quick fixes that would never resolve my issues long term. If Im being honest, I was a little skeptical initially since I have had these issues for so long, but after only a month of treatment, my pain and issues were already significantly better! After my 3rd month of treatment, my issues have completely healed and I havent had them for weeks. I no longer take any Advil for my pain, which I am so grateful for. My wife and I have both seen significant changes since starting care and we love all the help we get with our lifestyle as well. This place is truly life changing!

Before coming I routinely suffered from tension headaches, neck pain, and pretty severe lower back pain. Dr. Pala is dedicated to helping you fix the problems of your spine rather than just treating the symptoms. I am so happy to say, since I started getting routine adjustments, I havent had a tension headache in over a year, my back pain is very minimal and my spine is returning to its correct position. Coming routinely is an investment, but I have never felt better.

I started my chiropractic journey 4 years ago when my body was not in great shape because of corporate stress. I had immense lower back issues because of an accident couple of years before I started and neck and upper back issues because of faulty sitting/ working habits I had developed over the years. Because of all this, any type of exercise would be painful and I could tell it was breaking down my body even more. Since my chiropractic care began, I have ran a full marathon, done an Olympic distance triathlon and started training for an Ironman. Ive been working with Dr. Pala for about a year. This is not some quick adjustment chiropractor. Dr. Pala takes time to take x-rays, understand exactly what you need, and put a plan together. This practice is about wellness and a life well lived, not just getting an adjustments to make you feel good.Over the past year, Ive noticed my sports injuries healing faster,. I get sick less often and, when I do, the illness is less intense. I dont think Ive taken a pain reliever or an antacid since I really got going.Its fair to be skeptical of quick adjustment chiropractors. This is not that kind of practice. At first, it did not make sense to me to visit a chiropractor if I did not have any immediate pain, but Mountain Valley changed my perception. Unfortunately, most of my problems with my spine were not ones that I would see until I felt pain 20 years down the line, but because of my visit to Mountain Valley accompanying a friend, I was able to have my spine x-rayd and my nerves in my spine evaluated. Fortunately, the serious problems with my spine that I would have never seen in advance are able to be treated now! Get your spine checked, it is the key to the rest of your body.

When I first met the Mountain Valley Team (nearly 3-years ago), I thought, I dont need chiropractic help, Im in really good health. This is what my family physician told me. However, the more I learned about the critical nature of having a healthy spine and a great nervous system, I was ALL in regarding weekly chiropractic care! Im 58 years old. I came to know Dr. Pala because of my sister and brother-in-law who have also had a great experience with Dr. Pala. They referred me because my brother in law and I work together in construction and I was experiencing a lot of acute foot pain as in Plantar Facia and neuropathy. I take no meds but as a last resort my regular care provider prescribed me Gabapentin. It helped, but I did not like the side effects. After meeting Dr. Pala he showed me how I was just treating the symptoms and not the real cause of my foot pain. Within the first month of receiving regular chiropractic care, the immediate foot pain has gone away and I no longer take the Gabapentin. My wife is also now under Dr. Palas care. I have also lost 5lbs as a result of better health practices. I am a 55 year old male, 62 and weigh 210lbs. It is never to late to start a new healthier life style. We drive 135 miles one way each week because the care is so worth it. This is a very family friendly clinic. I have to admit I was a skeptic of chiropractic care because of poor information and perceptions. The right kind of care done properly has changed my perception and reality completely.

I dont think I can ever fully put into words the incredible things I have experienced since coming to Mountain Valley Family Chiropractic. Dr. Pala and Dr. Simone have built a practice that is truly focused on health, not about covering and masking symptoms. Their passion and care for their practice members is apparent in everything they do at the office, I have never had doctors so devoted to my health and care.About five years ago I was given a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. I went through almost a year of M.D.s looking at my like I had two heads describing symptoms of pain, then telling them I didnt want to test a bunch of different drugs to see if they helped. Finally one Dr said, You may have fibromyalgia. Thats my best guess. Before coming here, I had lost myself. I had given in to a life of constant pain and discomfort.Finally, I was given hope after talking with the Drs. Pala that my body can heal, there is just interference in my nervous system (subluxation). Fast forward 9 months and my pain and other symptoms are almost completely gone. My previous good days are now my bad days. I feel like my old self again and Im healthier than I ever believed I could be! I am eternally grateful for this office!

Right when my daughter turned 5 weeks old, I found myself frantically searching for a solution for her colic in the middle of the night one night. I had tried everything from infant massage to gas drops, and nothing was working. In my breastfeeding group, I found out about how chiropratic care had changed the game for many women with their colicky infants. I reached out to a friend of mine who referred me to MVFC who saw my daughter right away, gone above and beyond for her, and made sure that she is receiving the best care. Now at 12 weeks old, her colic is completely gone and reflux is being treated, and they are continuing to love on her every time we bring her in. I ended up finding Mountain Valley Chiropractic by mistake. I was supposed to go to my husbands old chiropractor and went to the wrong place. This was the best mistake I think I could have made.I went in for my hip and lower back hurting and found out I had a reverse curve in my neck. In 4 months Dr. Pala has helped reverse my - 2° curve to a 15° curve.I use to have daily headaches that I had to learn to live with since doctors couldnt figure out why. Within a few weeks I noticed my headaches werent as intense. After a couple of months I was only having one or two a week, and now I get them once or twice a month. About to turn 60, and even though health conscious, I sought out Dr. Palas direction on maintaining good health. After being under his care for a mere 3 weeks, I found that my elevated blood pressure which was beginning to concern me had dropped dramatically. It went from an average of 149/96 down to an average of 119/74. I always appreciate his upbeat attitude and welcoming environment to answer questions and educate. When I first went to Maximized Living I had been suffering from foot, leg, and lower back pain every time I would try to go for a walk. I also had a pronounced hunch in my posture aggravated by osteoarthritis. After several treatments from Dr. Pala, the foot, leg and lower back pain disappeared, and with continued treatments along with my daily exercises, my posture is much straighter and the osteoarthritis in my back is dissipating. My overall health has greatly improved!

Been coming to Dr. Pala for a year and a half. Health and pain have both improved over time. The chiropractic services relieve my neck and back pain. It takes commitment but pays off!

The older I get, the more I have focused on trying to maintain a healthful lifestyle. Nevertheless, by the time I was 71, I was having trouble sleeping; I had gained a little weight and couldnt get it off; my thinking was becoming more foggy; and it seemed like other small things were being added to the mix all the time. The X-rays showed my spine was as bad as any Dr. Pala had seen. If I was not receiving treatment, I have no doubt things would have continued to deteriorate. My daughter had a significant curvature in her spine. After a year of treatment and no results with another Chiropractor, we were advised to seek higher level care. I took her to the Spine Center, who basically told us that her degree of scoliosis was just below their criteria to perform surgery. They gave us no other suggestions except to come back when she reached that point. Discouraged, I happened to meet Dr. Pala at a business networking event. He said that he would evaluate my daughter. He assured me that if he thought he could help, wed develop a plan, and if not, he would do his best to help me find a solution without surgery. Finally, some hope! We began treatment, and within 7 months, her spine was in perfect alignment. Not only did we avoid surgery, Dr. Pala gave us a great deal of education about all of the amazing benefits of Chiropractic care. I was a bit unsure and skeptical about chiropractic before I started going. My wife began going to see Dr. Pala and the team at Mountain Valley Chiropractic in Fort Collins due to back/neck pain and headaches/migraines. She has not had any neck or back pain nor a migraine since beginning treatment about 5 months ago. Due to the success she has had, I decided to begin going to see Dr. Pala about 4 months ago. I have had fairly chronic lower back pain for at least 10 years as well as some other minor health issues. I have not had ANY back pain and have felt great since seeing Dr. Pala! From the second that Dr. Ronil and Simone Pala explained chiropractic care to me, the science behind it, and its necessity to live a productive, heathy, and long life, I was in. I went the maximized 6 months ago with chronic pain in my right hip. I dont even think about it anymore. The pain is all gone after being treated by Dr Pala and Im free again to play basketball, hike and mountain bike. Very thankful.

I started going to the Mountain Valley Family Chiropractic when I was having difficulty getting ahead of my digestive issues. I know. Weird, right? When I told my parents I had been seeing a chiropractor they immediately asked me what I broke. The most common misconception regarding spinal care is that it is only necessary if youre in pain or if you broke a bone at some point in your life. Well, I had neither of those complaints and Ive still noticed remarkable results. I started going to Dr. Pala a year ago with back pain. Under his chiropractic care, I not only learned the importance of diet and spinal health, my back pain is gone! I used to believe that chriropractors there for the days you link your neck or throw out your back. My health, from a Heart Attach in 2012, I have no blockages, and from diabetes since 1991, has improved exponentially. Dr. Pala is an extemely caring and passionate chiropractor. He is extremely clear on his mission and purpose and why he has chosen to become a chiropractor.At 25 years old, I have suffered moderate to severe back and neck pain. I began treatment in March 2016 with a reversed curve in my neck. Although all my pain is not gone and my curvature is not fully fixed, I have noticed fewer pain episodes and through continued treatment I know it will continue to improve.I have also chosen to have my family treated. My husband, 4 year old, and 2 year old are all treated. My children have not complained of any pain, although I have chosen treatment to give them the best chance at growing as healthy as possible. My 2 year old has low muscle tone in her legs, and through x-ray we were able to show the cause being severe side curvature in her spine. In the last few months, her spine has been straightened and she is excelling in physical therapy quicker than ever before. Dr. Pala is extremely kid friendly and has made the experience enjoyable for my children.In addition, I love the wholistic approach Dr. Pala has taken to health. I’ve only gone a couple of times but it’s enough to write a review. It feels absolutely refreshing to see one person and feel like they’re actually listening to me and the problems I’m having. I’ve gone to so many urgent cares and physical therapists but none of them have really taken the time to listen, try to help, or explain anything they’re doing. Dr. Pala has taken so much time to look into specific issues, really hear me, and ensure I understood everything that was happening and why. After the first adjustment I had felt so many of my issues dissipate for the week (migraines, pain, digestion, energy levels, etc.) which was incredible. I’m excited to continue correcting my spine and finally for the first time in years start feeling good on a day to day basis. (Plus everyone here is so kind, caring, and welcoming. It would be extremely hard to dislike this place.)
