I have seen Holly for 5 years now and have received consistent professionalism and care from her. She always takes time to listen to my concerns and adjust my treatments. As I drive from Denver, I am big on customer service and never fail to receive that. My appointments are always booked correctly, and I receive recommendations for herbs and supplements that will help me. They never force me to buy anything or prebook but I believe in them and their recommendations. I receive emails for my appointments and feel my time is respected.I highly recommend Holly and Michelle to anyone who wants a partner in your path to reaching your health goals!

The team at Integrative Acupuncture is absolutely amazing! Michelle has helped me get through some of my darkest health days. Her education and experience as a nurse makes it much easier for her to identify what might best help you in Chinese medicine or other natural remedies. I highly recommend I.A. to everyone because they truly care about making a personal connection with all of their customers.

Until recently, I was been a weekly patient at IAC for three years. After my most recent treatment, Holly told me that she was referring me out because I was not making progress and she could no longer help me. And, then she said that we were completely done with our therapeutic relationship. She was angry and that did not fit. She is normally kind. Her last words were, “Yeah, we’re done.” Not a typical referral.I left the clinic defeated and confused. Just a month before Holly was remarking on all of my progress and hard work and the huge gains I had made. She even said that I completely different person from the one who walked in the door three years ago. What really happened is that Holly realized that I was not purchasing herbs through IAC. I have bought them there in the past-- many, many bottles while we tried herb after herb after herb. I have a drawer full of experiments at around $40 a pop and one custom formula that for nearly $50 that was not the right fit within days. There are even unopened bottles. In more than 20 years of using acupuncture, I have never had an acupuncturist demand that I only buy her herbs. My last acupuncturist encouraged me to buy herbs online because of the costs. I started doing that here because of the extraordinary markup that IAC charges. The last bottle I purchased was $42 at IAC, but available online for less than $30. Going through so many bottles, the savings really made a big difference. The last purchase of herbs online saved me enough to pay the entire August gas bill and have $6 left.My husband is transitioning to a new career and my daughter just found a job. Just two weeks ago, Holly suggested that I think about leaving my good paying but high-stress job. I am not in a position to pay an additional 25-40% more than retail on herbs.Holly never told me that she expected all herbs to be purchased at the clinic. I never tried to hide it and said, “I bought some herbs” and that was it. It is not like we had some contract. Costs are never discussed and are not disclosed until checkout. If there is a larger principle operating here, I don’t know what it is. It sure isn’t honesty and transparency. If Holly had been honest and just talked with me, I would have purchased herbs at the clinic despite the excessive mark-up. She never asked about the situation and made sure that the only view considered was her own—I did not even get to explain. As she lied to me, she even said, “You know me, I am all about the transparency. I’m an open book.” Sorry, but that is clearly not the case.Once I figured out that the real issue was the herbs, I felt pretty sad that she blamed me and a lack of progress. This was all about profit. She compromised her honesty and my care over money.

I started getting acupuncture treatments to minimize the side effects of chemo therapy. I cannot express enough how wonderful and caring and insightful Michelle was as my therapist. No matter how busy the office was, she always made me feel like I was her only appointment.
