I had solar panels installed back in 2017 and Solar-Mite was the installers. Sungevity was the company that we purchased our salar panels from. Install was good but had issues after installation was finalized with a roof leak. We called them and they dispatched a installer to come out and repair. All good. This past week 5/21 had another leak and reached out to the company and spoke to someone who stated that Sungevity went out of business last year she stated we have no warranties since then. I explained to her that Sungevity hired them as a vendor to install our 30 solar panels and that it shouldn’t matter if Sungevity went out of business they were the installers not Sungevity. So I am currently waiting to hear back from owner since I believe this should be covered and it’s in the same place it happened the first time. This is an issue with the installer not the company we purchased it from. The installer was paid to do the job correctly so we the customers wouldn’t have any issues. I hope to hear back from owner since I referred 2 other customers and Solar Mite was the installers as well.Thank youJaime Berrios
