Jen was so professional and took her time explaining things to my 99 year old father. She showed compassion when talking to my Dad and encouraged him to ask questions. I was overwhelmed by all the things Jen addressed. We are anxious to start getting care from Visiting Angels. We are confident that we have chosen the best agency!

They have been helping us for 2 years. Our aide is well trained and caring. We both look forward to her weekly appointments. She was also willing to do a full day shift when asked.

I have worked for numerous care-giving agencies, and VA has been the best! The office staff are always cheerful and professional. I have all the hours I want, and when I turn down hours they don’t get angry. When I had a problem with a client once, they handled the situation in a fair-minded manner- they don’t show bias toward either side (care-giver or client) and that’s so appreciated! They also have strong computer skills which other agencies have lacked, in my experience. I would highly recommend VA for both clients and care-givers.

Visiting Angels worked with us to make a schedule that worked great for my mom. They were very flexible when our schedule changed and the workers were very good with my mom. I truly appreciate the effort they made for us.

This company took on services when my moms other caregivers were no longer available. Reading the caregivers notes was very enlightening. She no longer would speak to me, so they were the last glimpses I had of what she was doing and how she was doing. I realized what a great service they were for Mom. Getting her to converse about her life, taking her for rides, getting her to the grocery, hairdresser and and for her pedicure. Dr. appointments, encouraging good eating, watching old movies, laughing with her while she told funny stories. Even helping her organize her bills when she was getting overwhelmed and asking for assistance. Trying to cheer her up when she was having a bad day or not feeling well. Im so thankful Visiting Angels were there when she was in severe pain and transported to the hospital where she later died. I cant thank them enough for the care they gave my Mom who was so precious to me.

I have worked with Visiting Angels for less then a year and I have never been at a job like Visiting Angels. There is so much communication and love not just with the higher ups but also with the clients. I love working with the clients they can alwaysbring a smile to my face and I try to make them laughand smile.

Very organized, good communication, very compassionate

Ron and the Visiting Angel staff were a Godsend to our mom and our family. Moms care required overnight shifts, which we worried would be difficult to fill. We were so pleased the Visiting Angels staff always arrived on time and were able to cover every shift. The log book staff completed each night kept us well informed as to how moms night went. It was so comforting to mom that extra effort was made to introduce new staff prior to them starting as her caregiver. When a crisis arose, and with short notice, Ron and his staff were able to fill extra shifts for us. The Visiting Angel staff allowed mom to remain in familiar surroundings for as long as possible, for which we are so grateful. We would recommend this service to others who wish to help their loved one age in place.

Working at Visiting Angels has been such a rewarding experience! The clients Ive had the opportunity to assist have provided so much joy in my life. After retirement, I wanted to do something positive and different than my career. Visiting Angels has been more than I could have hoped for. The administration staff is very accommodating to my scheduling needs and treat all clients with respect and compassion.

As a teachers aide in the local school district, I was always looking for gainful employment to get through the summer months. Last July I started filling out an online application for Visiting Angels. Technology and lack of patience got the better of me and I left the application incomplete.Not long afterwards, I started receiving phone calls and emails from various staff members re: possible employment with Visiting Angels. I put them off, telling them that I would most likely soon be employed elsewhere. Messages kept coming; I kept making excuses. Well, these folks are a persevering bunch and I eventually agreed to come in for an interview. AM I EVER GLAD I DID!!!The office staff at Visiting Angels are professional, thorough, patient, understanding and fun to work with. They do an excellent job matching caregivers with clients. I love the flexibility of the hours and the nature of the work. Bringing safety, comfort and joy to our clients is so gratifying and rewarding.I have recently resigned from the school district so that I could devote myself to in-home care through Visiting Angels. I found my dream job!

Great company to work for!

This is the only home care company Ive worked with that has taken the time to routinely follow-up with me regarding my care experience in the last 14 years. I am very impressed with the professionalism of this home care company. MMost office staff have been very responsive & a pleasure to work with since my selection of this agency.My aides, Bonnie & now Asia are just wonderful. Theyre often even a few minutes early for their shift and have a very pleasant, friendly personality and a great work ethic. They both go above and beyond and her exemplary efforts and positive attitude make early mornings easier.Scheduling changes with office staff has also been a very simple, responsive process w flexible, helpful people. Communication regarding aide schedules or changes to accommodate providers or my shifting timeframes has been very open. I utilize a family room website and having the option to visually see changes to providers (to cover time off, etc.)or time changes Ive requested live is a great benefit too.
