The nurses, staff, and counselors are some of the NICEST PEOPLE YOUD EVER MEET. Clean bathrooms and facility, and wait times are usually VERY SHORT. Sadly, Dr. Junig is no longer the doctor here. He was EXTREMELY HELPFUL and FRIENDLY, and WILL BE MISSED!**DONT FORGET YOUR MASK**

This is the second clinic I’ve been to. The difference is vast! Idk if it’s bc the first I went to was state owned or not (Madison West). But they seemed to just move ppl along without actually finding out about them/their issues. It was clear doctor would’ve preferred to be anywhere but there and wasn’t interested in healing. This clinic is the exact opposite. The entire staff are all wonderful. They ask how I’m doing, showing genuine interest in my well being. That includes Dr. Junig! I’m beyond grateful to them all for treating me like a person, not an “addict”. It makes the 3hr round trip drive worth it.I am still very happy with this clinic overall. The only downside is Dr. Junig left. The doctor that replaced him was the doctor that was at Madison West while I was there. My opinion of him has not changed. However, the rest of the staff definitely make up for him. Even eight months later I still see they all clearly gaf about people‘s well-being.

Hated the idea of using a clinic for help until I did it. It is worth getting control of your life again and there are a lot of tools there to help you transition. Nothing but good things to say.

This clinic is clean the staff is respectable and while you are waiting for your turn the other patients are also respectful and orderly and if someone happens to get out of line the situation is quickly handled by staff & security. The dr. Is available to address any issues that arise daily & during my intake he answered any questions I had and was clear as to what was expected of me and what I was to expect from them .This was a very pleasant experience during a very unpleasant period in my life.

I deeply regret posting the review about Premier Care and saying Dr.Junig doesnt care and is high on himself. It is simply not true. I was in a horrible place stuck in addiction. He really wants to help get people off opiates. I was addicted to pain pills for 15yrs. This clinic gives you the tools to get off opiates for good. There is hope.

The post by maxwell rost , a fake name, deserves an answer. Many factors go into dose determinations. Blood level is a part of that determination. The most common complaint I hear from former methadone patients from other programs is that they were allowed or encouraged to increase their dose too far. My goal is to help patients eliminate their addiction to opioids, and at some point higher doses can interfere with that goal. Some patients become used to the effects of constant increases, and struggle to accept the pharmacologic reality that tolerance removes the effect of dose increases. The only way to create the mu receptor activation they are seeking is to have a continuously-increasing dose, an unrealistic approach that often led to the persons need for treatment in the first place. The other points in the review are not accurate. I am on site at least 4 days every week, and always available by phone. Most programs in Wisconsin have a doctor on site for one day per week. Every change in dose is considered by the physician, unlike clinics where doctors write stacked orders allowing for multiple dose increases between visits. As for the opinions of methadone experts, there is considerable disagreement over the issue of proper methadone dosing. Methadone has dose-related risks and side effects, so any responsible provider will carefully weigh the risks and benefits before making dose changes.I am available at short notice for any medical concern, but not for the sake of badgering for higher doses. The person writing the review should understand that I heard that he/she wanted more methadone. But in some cases further increases are not warranted, and not in the patients best interest. Patients, programs, and society do not benefit from over-medicated patients. And again, the ultimate goal of methadone-assisted treatment is to help people learn to live without opioids.

Ridiculous. Its a proven fact that peak/trough levels are not the only thing that methadone prescribers should go by to set your dose. The top leading doctors at the best rated methadone clinics in America dont think levels even matter that much. LISTENING AND TALKING TO YOUR PATIENTS and how they are feeling and doing should be the most important. Dr.Junig will not see you or even LISTEN to u if your blood level of methadone is at or over 4. And then your told he wont even SEE you for 3 months. He is the ONLY doctor there and when your still going through withdrawals EVERYDAY and you realize that most patients are not even phasing and are still using everday because hes the only doctor for 420+ patients and doesnt care enough to see you and picks and chooses who he will see and not see based soley on blood levels.....you start to realize how much you really dont matter. The patients would be phasing and doing much better if Dr.Junig would LISTEN and SEE his patients and actually have them on appropriate doses. When your told he wont even see you for 3 MONTHS THAT TELLS YOU EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS CLINIC. Dont go there if you actually need help. The counselors are great. The nurses are great. The doctor is high on himself.
