Im from out of state but visit once or twice a year, and this year I forgot to pack my contacts for a month-long visit. I was very happy with my eye exam here. Dr. Nguyen was great. She answered my questions and explained things understanding I did have knowledge of my eye health and didnt over-simplify her answers to me. She actually noted that I was overcorrected in my previous prescription. I cant tell the difference very much with contacts, but in glasses it made a huge difference and likely will resolve the reason why I cant tolerate my previous glasses prescription.They dont have trial contacts on name brand lenses, only the companys brand, so if you need those they will need to be ordered. I did buy a box of their dailies to try but they are not as breathable as my name-brand lenses, so I will be returning to those once Im done with this box, as my eyes tend to get dry and I wear my contacts longer than just 8 hours.The staff was friendly, although I see why some might get a little irritated at the wait time. Their pace is a little slow, but I am used to a quicker pace. My friend who had an appointment here a month before me said my appointment would be quicker than it was. But again, they were very friendly, and I didnt think they were understaffed, just a little slower paced.

Will never go back. Worst customer service I have ever received at a medical office. The receptionist were rude and unprofessional. The optometrist was strange and the office was very low quality. The only reason I rated them a two was the prices of my frames and the super kind lady who helped me at check out. They originally told me 7 days for them to arrive and now are telling me it could be a possible one-two additional weeks. Ridiculous.

Absolute rudest people Ive ever delt with. One person in the whole place was nice and didnt act put out when asked to help us. Mehnoosh was a pleasure to deal with. Maybe you should think about hiring more employees like her.

I tried to order some new glasses on America’s Best Online without getting a new eye exam because my eyes haven’t changed. My child broke one pair and I don’t like the pair I’m wearing now. They “legally” won’t let me get new ones. I’m not going in and putting my face on something everyone else around here puts their face on during a pandemic. Think it’s pretty messed up that they are trying to force people to. If it’s actually “illegal” they should probably rethink all of that during this. I take care of my grandmother so I can’t risk bringing anything back to my home with her.

First, I had an appointment for 5:00 pm on a Friday. I waited forever even though I was right on time for my appointment. There were 4 people ahead of me! Did not get out of that office until after 6:30 and they did not have my trial lenses in stock nor did I try on or buy any glasses. They said they would order the trial lenses and call me when they came in. A week went by and no call. I called and they said it would be another week. Assured me they would call. I never got a call or the trial lenses as promised. That was five and half weeks ago. I finally just ordered boxes of contacts in the hopes they would be okay. Now I have to figure out whether I can really get a copy of my prescription from them and go find another place to buy glasses. I have experience with Americas Best and this is one of the worst locations ever.

There are 2 parts to this review. First part is the whole in-store experience and the second the quality of their eyeglasses.I was there for almost 3 hours, it was a terrible experience. I just waited and waited, they lost the file for a bit and it was really frustrating.It really seemed like the support staff were incompetent and disorganized.The Dr (Hutton?I think) was excellent, took her time and paid attention to detail no matter how many screaming kids or loud customers there were outside. She is an excellent Dr.Finally the eyeglasses were received in a reasonable amount of time and they were excellently crafted.This really makes up for everything else.I strongly recommend this business , save yourself money and get your moneys worth.To others who talk about bait and switch, thats unfair, its called product sales , every lens has different optical products that can be added to it, blue tint, anti-glare etc. Of course theyre going to ask you if you want it.If you dont, then just say no, no need to disparage them for trying to explain the features to you.

I’m here right now, and my appointment was at 3:30, and it is now 5:20 and i am STILL waiting here to buy contacts. There is a man (a worker) in the pre-test room next to me just talking to another worker, who would easily help me simply buy contacts, but they are just talking. This is ridiculous, i have been waiting for an hour and a half. Everyone except Doctor Nguyen and David has been joking around and not helping me since i have been here.

Dana is the lady keeping this place in good standing. Keeps us coming back year after year, since it opened. Other staff come & go, including the eye doctors. But shes there, making sure the customers are taken care of. Looking out for the customers, picking up the fumbles, & getting things done. My family & I will always be customers.

If the rest of our healthcare system was as efficient and affordable as Americas Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, America would be a better place! We got in right away. Got eye exams, selected glasses were on our way quickly. The glasses came in on time and theyre terrific. AND they reminded us to come back every six months to have the nose pads changed for free. Never heard that before. Exceeded my expectations!

I came in with my wife for her eye exam and brought my broken glasses with us to see if they could be salvaged after my 5 year old stepped on them. Natalie was not only able to fix the badly crushed glasses but insisted that we make sure they were straight and perfect, her attention to detail was very much appreciated, and the best part was she didnt charge me a thing. As a business owner I understand the importance of having employees who work hard to please customers and Natalie did just that. The rest of the staff was very nice and helpful will definitely be back.

All team members do what they can to do what is best for you. I have seen two doctors who worked on my prescription - both were nice to deal with. Dr. Dick was especially thorough with the eye exam. I would recommend them; their prices are great.

Even though we live in Denton, my wife and I are happy to drive to this location for our eye exams and glasses. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and they have a toy-box in the waiting area to help keep little kiddos entertained.I was happy with my exam, but especially happy when I was obliged to go back 6 months later because some glue came loose on the frames (a mfg. defect). A staff member named Ren took one look at them, assured me that I would walk out that day with a new pair of frames, and then proceeded to make that happen! The interaction could be shown in an instructional video on How To Keep A Customer. Even though they were busy that day, it didnt feel rushed at all, just efficient and great.My family will be returning to Americas Best Flower Mound location whenever we have glasses/contact lens needs.

Staff is friendly, and they are relatively cheaper than everywhere; however, I have had several problems with them. First, they lost my order of contacts for about a month. I kept calling every week to check where they had and they just kept telling me to wait. Eventually after a month, after I had called and was confused and upset about my contacts since I needed them, they found them misplaced somewhere else. Then, after I received the contacts they hard ordered +prescription instead of my -prescription. So I had to call and figure that issue out with them. They were willing to help, which is why I’m not giving them a 1 star but I had to go without contacts for some time for reasons that could’ve been easily avoided.

Great visit here! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Jessica who welcomed me and checked me in and also did all my pre-testing. The doctor I saw was friendly, professional, and forthcoming with helpful information. Robin was a huge help in picking out frames. Im thrilled that I got an eye exam, two pairs of glasses AND contacts for a great price, even without insurance. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking eye care.

We waited 1 1/2 hour to be seen and when I spoke to the manager all he had to say was” what do you suggest I do and everyone has to go through the same process” unacceptable. I have other things to do on a Saturday. I definitely do not feel that my time as a customer is valued.

I cant say enough about this location from management to the techs....what a FANTASTIC place. I especially would like to thank Jo, Kat, and Wrue. Their professionalism was through the roof! They were so patient, thorough, and very honest when helping me pick out frames. I cant say enough about the staff! This location has GREAT selection, GREAT prices, and most importantly.....GREAT customer service!

I cant say enough about the wonderful customer service at this location! Marco was so patient with me as I tried on about every pair of glasses in the store! He helped me find frames that I felt comfortable in. This is my first time wearing progressive lenses. When the glasses came in,there were no adjustments needed. They fit perfectly! I had such a good experience that my husband bought glasses a few weeks later. Once again, customer service was exceptional!

I had a tremendous experience here with Marco. They got me an appointment same-day, Marco helped me choose my three pair of glasses, and he worked on my insurance/cost analysis for me while I was in my exam with the doctor. After my exam I just answered a few questions, paid, and went on my way! I was in and out in an hour! I couldn’t be more satisfied and will return and recommend!

Wow.. I just wanted to share something have just happened to me. I called them to make an appointment. After my appointment was made, I asked her (I dont want to mention her name) when my Eye Care Club membership would be expired. She said she was too busy telling that to me and told me call them back later (I felt weird). So I asked her why she couldnt tell me now. She kept saying she would call me later instead of answering my question. (Well) I asked her when she would call me back. She didnt answer but tossed me to her manager instead. I didnt understand that. At the very beginning of the call, her voice was not nice. I thought sometimes such a thing happened in life. However, after she said that she would call me later, I thought this is not nice as well as right... This is what happened!

Overall a great experience. Needed new glasses and eye exam. Doctor was nice and helpful. Some staff wasnt as personable as others. Luckily I had a very nice and patient lady help me with picking out glasses and sunglasses. I would recommend going in earlier to avoid waiting and extra frustrations.

Do not waste your time here. I had a horrible experience and spent over 3 hours just to get a refund and get my glasses elsewhere. Customer care to my great dissatisfaction, was unwilling to rectify the situation. I told customer care that I only wanted what I had been promised by the staff and the only resolution they could give me was a refund and to go elsewhere. The staff is rude and unaware of their stores policies. Product knowledge is lacking, they only wanted to add on expenses and pretend that it was required. No warranty is required. Also they never expressed a clear and precise date to pick up.

Seriously THE WORST. Every single time I go there is a problem or I am there for over 2 hours.And yet today another problem. Ordered contacts and they sent me the wrong ones. They will not send me the right ones until I come in- not surprised at all. Poor customer service every time. Expect to be there for at least a couple hours.

The first lady I met with was really nice but after that it flat out sucked. The doctor was so rude it was amazing, he entered the room, said who he was then nice to meet you. He never looked me in the eye to greet me, I stuck out my hand to shake his and he did not shake my hand because he did not engage me. I was basically two pieces of paper that he had to fill out and get done with as soon as possible. His service was absolutely awful! I will not be going back.

Not happy with this location at all. Made an appointment and waited for almost an hour. I understand sometimes things happen but at least let the customer know there is a delay. Was getting a contact lens renewal and was talked into the store brand. Did not bother to do a check that they fit correctly (which they do not) and was sent out the door without even giving me a copy of the prescription. Now I have to go back and deal with all of this again.

All the staff seemed to be very unsure about what they are doing, and my eye exam was a total of 5-6 minutes. I was asked what brand contacts I wear, which is Biofinity and got a pair, then go to pay for 6 months of contacts and give me a off brand lenses saying oh they are the same contacts, we made a deal with Biofinity and changed the box with our name on it, a blatant bait and switch. The eye care club vs insurance pitch is hard to follow, even if you know your policy. I know now, why I have paid more in the past at TSO, and will be glad to do so in the future.

If there was a no star rating, I would choose that! My wife came to order contacts. We have used this location for the last 2 yrs and have been great. But this time will be our last. She came in for her appt and was not greated by the 4 people just standing there while the 5th was on the phone. After standing there for 10 min the lady on the phone greeted her and took her to the back for the exam. The lady that started quickly turned off the lights and scared our 4 yr old. After that went to see the so called doctor and DURING the test he was EATING his snack AND DRINKING his nice drink. Then started talking about off the wall chit chat that was not related. Afterwards she has ALWAYS gotten a pair of contacts to take with her till her order comes in and the people were rude about giving her a pair. Very upset with this.

Im about an hour and a half in, and am regretting coming to this location. It seems like the entire staff is untrained or incompetent. I stated from the initial appointment schedule that I just needed my contact prescription renewed, Ive been asked 5 times to go look at frames for glasses that I dont want. Im currently sitting here waiting to be checked out, nobody seems to know how to use the POS system. They tried to sell me on their eye care club by inaccurately quoting my insurance coverge to try and make it seem like theyre offering savings. This place already feels like a low end Walmart of the optometry world, they should just go ahead and add a self check out because Im pretty sure I couldve done a better job navigating the POS system. Total time for simple contact lenses prescription renewal was 90 mins.Update: I ordered contact lenses from this store. I have with Biofonity for the past 5 years as they are my preferred brand. My prescription from Americas best says Biofonity and that is what I requested and THOUGHT that is what I would be getting and paying for. Nope, they instead ordered the generic brand Breathble XW and charged me the Biofonity price. I didnt realise they did the old bait and switch on me until today when my wife brought them home from in store pick up. They gave me a pair of Biofonity for trial pair, I ordered Biofonity, and they instead ordered generics and charged me the Biofonity price. I am now beyond dissatisfied and wish I could give -5 stars. This place is a scam full of incompetent scammers. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Out of the 25yrs that I have been wearing glasses, this was by far the worst experience I had.They work sales angles on you. Theyre rude and uneducated. Theyre inattentive.The manager was by far the worst. She was snotty, short, hateful and had a Youre bothering me attitude the entire time I was in there.I got pointed to a small section of frames after my rather abrupt and unthorough eye exam. I picked out 2. I go ask about the prescription for my contacts, and no one seemed to know what I was talking about. I also had to practically demand the brand I wanted, as its older and not prescribed often apparently. I have no idea why that matters, regardless. Theyre my eyes and its my money, right?Finally, I go to pay. This is where they get you.The 2 for $70ish? That only applies to the worst lenses or people who only need mild correction.If you want anything, including the anti-glare, its going to cost you a lot more. I ended up spending almost $400. For 2 pairs of pretty crappy glasses.To add insult to injury, the one set was apparently defective. One lense kept sliding around in the frame. Im told theyll reorder another pair. Nearly 2wks later, Im told that the frames were discontinued, but maybe its the lenses. So then those get reordered. Another 10 days. I go back up there again. Same issue. The lenses are sliding around.They let me pick another pair. Another week goes by.I finally go picke them up.Fast toward about 5mos, and they need readjusted.I take them in. The technician bent them so badly I cant even wear them anymore. Im now wearing the 2nd pair.Needless to say, I wont be going back. You get what you pay for. If youre like me and have to wear glasses or contacts daily or youre legally blind, steer clear. This place is completely incompetent.

Doctor was awesome, funny,nice, and informative. staff was nice, but they seemed distracted and short, felt like there conversation between each other was more important than helping me. telling me my info really fast just so they can get back to talking to each other, now for the glasses, which I still have not received yet. I had my eye exam on the 19th and now it the 6th of the next month, and I called and they are not in, I was told 1 week, its been 18 days, Im afraid if there is any issues, It will take twice along to get the problem fixed, Im giving them a 3 stars because they are being nice and trying to resolve the issue and Im trying to be understanding, but dont tell 7 to 10 days and 18 days later you dont know where they are, they said the show completed, there just not sure were they are.....
