Dr. Kocaj did a Meniscus repair and the next day my pain was gone. I would highly recommend him. Remember every tear is different and depending on how much Meniscus is left after the repair will determine how successful it will be, i was lucky but the Doctor was spot on with diagnoses.

It seems all the positive reviews are regarding knee surgery. Dr. Kocaj preformed surgery on my shoulder twice. In both cases, after months in recovery, my shoulder dislocated again when I slipped from standing height and caught myself with my hand. I am still recovering from having a more invasive third surgery by a more competent doctor.

I highly recommend Dr. Kocaj. From the first visit, he made me feel at ease with a great bedside manner and positive personality. He spends a lot of time with you and gets to know you as a person, not just your injury. He performed surgery on my knee and I felt confident in his skill and level of care. I’ve been equally impressed with the follow-up care I’ve received at my post-op appointments. He has truly put effort and genuine care into making the best plan for my recovery and success. Dr. Kocaj is by far the best doctor Ive ever had! Ive been having some knee problems and Dr. Kocaj is doing everything he can for my recovery. At his office, he took time to talk to me, to listen, and didnt rush the appointment at all (which is so rare nowadays). He explained the tests results and procedures in details. Injuries are so defeating,and he knows how to ease his patients anxieties. His kindness is definitely making the healing process easier and I couldnt be more thankful.

If your child athlete has a knee injury Doctor Kocaj is the man to see! My 13 year old son ruptured his patellar tendon and Dr Kocaj did an amazing job fixing his knee. His bedside manner is 5 Stars. He is simply the best.

UPDATE: Six months and a surgery later is still haven’t heard back from this doctor ! DO NOT USE HIM. He misdiagnosed a TORN LIGAMENT as a CONTUSION. there’s another doctor in his office named doctor Black that’s much more interested in his patients, use him! Dr. Kocaj actually made my elbow worse, please I beg u don’t use this doctor!!!! Bad doctor !ORIGINAL:Dr. Kocaj was a little distracted. He dropped the ball when it came to calling in two prescriptions for me. When I called back on two separate occasions I was told the prescriptions would be sent in, they never were. When I tried to make a follow up appointment I was kept on hold for half an hour. I left a message and still have never been called back. Basically don’t waste ur time with this doctor go somewhere where they care

Very friendly Dr. but he did a Meniscus repair and totally missed the fact that i also had an ACL tear. My second opinion Dr. found it with minutes of checking my knee and MRI.
