Before you get a membership here, please be warned that cancelling will not be an easy task. Youll have to sign up on their website (which is broken for me) and download a form, which you will then have to mail to them to cancel. Its completely ridiculous.

I chose this place for two reasons: it’s one of the few gyms in the area that doesn’t require you to give your account number and routing number to them to sign up (HUGE for me, security/privacy) and it has everything I’m looking for but not a lot of people there at any given time. I really don’t like working out in a crowded gym (No privacy, have to wait in line to use any equipment, etc)This gym has an indoor track that I use all the time, it has a lot of private spaces for spinning, classes, racquetball, swimming. The staff have been friendly when I need something.Happy

I do not visit this gym on a regular basis for multiple reasons.1. I have a bad back and the ergonomic bikes they offer ARE NOT ergonomic.2. I can only use the pool because of the bike situation and it is NOT warm.3. The showers take forever to warm up then its slow going anyway, because the water pressure is not very strong. You have to walk nude or wrapped in a towel to the dressing stalls that are not close to the showers at all. Even the tiny college I went to had an area inside each shower stall that was kept dry and you could keep your clothes there while showering and then get dressed there afterward as well.

Its been 2 months and still no CBS on the TVs. Today is the Sunday of the Masters and I would love to come up to the gym and get on a treadmill and watch it. How difficult could this process be?Good news, you have comedy central as a channel option so I can watch the movie 50 First Dates at 3pm today - said no one ever.

Can we get CBS programmed into the TVs? Of the 15 channels that you offer, how is CBS not one of them? I can get this channel on the rabbit ear TV I have sitting in my basement.Is there a plan to upgrade the spin bikes? Those things are as old as the rabbit ear tv in my basement. You have great spin instructors, but I have to drive to Crescent Springs to attend a class because the bikes are so bad. I even understand replacing some bikes gradually and not all at once.Those are the only problems I have. I have been with LA for over 7 years and they have been good to me.

Of the dozen or so LA Fitness locations I’ve been to, this one is the best. Like the others, the restrooms could use some more attention throughout the day and the place could use a good deep cleaning due to crud in corners & crevices but overall it’s very good. Cleaner than most, tons of equipment and free weights, and has a great walking track. Very friendly staff too. Kudos Florence location, keep up the good work.12/23/2019 UpdateThere’s numerous lockers in the locker room but about 1/3 of the lockers are broken in some way (missing ring for lock, broken or missing floor or ceiling, etc). Parking lot could also use a serious recoating.

Clean place. Certainly an older gym with a recent upgrade. Dumbells go up to 125 and there is ample equipment and machines. Standard large box gym that seems cared for. Would highly recommend for anyone including bodybuilders. No deadlift platforms, but thats about the only drawback.

Great prices and a great gym. Have always liked visiting this gym and made the leap to join this week.

This is the best location Ive been to so far. Indoor track, cardio section with a big screen playing movies, beautiful building, spacious locker room, and plenty of dumbbells. Staff is good and gym has organized equipment (weights racked up). I wish this was my home gym, its that good.

Cleanest gymnasium, the available equipment that I use is super clean, the atmosphere is outstanding.

Gym is great, only problem I have is the closing on weekends. Its way too early. Should be changed to 6 or 7 p.m.

Good place to workout. They got a running track, lap pool, and racquetball court. They have a maintenance guy keeping up with repairs

Much cleaner under new ownership and they hired more personal trainers. New manager helped me resolve issue.

The equipment is not up date for how much they are charging over here and they do not communicate well within their own staff. For example I requested to cancel my account before I was shipped out for military orders only to find that 5 months later my account was still active and I had payments each month taken out of my bank account for a service I was unable to use. Of course 0 refund policy applies here. Needless to say I dont recommend LA fitness certainly not this facility.

Everyone is so friendly. The staff go above and beyond and get to know all the guests. Theyre doing well to renew and remodel the place! Love the indoor track, the sauna is always warm, and the newly renovated pool is great. Its never overly crowded and there is plenty of equipment. There is also a cardio cinema!

I went here about 6 years ago and it is still the nicest looking LA Fitness I have ever been to.

I feel very safe at LA Fitness. A sanitizer is located where it will be needed for every member. Spacing between each machine 8s enforced.

They will sit you down like a used car salesmen and try to sell you personal training from trainers who have little to no education on how to train someone or create a program. They will try to pressure you for about a half hour in a room interrogation style until you agree to sign an agreement that they tell you is for 2 weeks of free training when its actually a 12 month contract for paid training. Very poor selection of weight training equipment. Overall worst commercial gym I have ever been to.

I was visiting in the area and dropped in to check LA Fitness out. I was immediately greeted by a nice young lady and then given a tour by a nice gentlemen. The entire facility was very nice, clean and well laid out. I really enjoyed my time there and I highly recommend everyone stop in and give it a try too!

The gyms are nice and not too crowded. Its impossible without a lawyer to get out of the contract though so be sure it fits before signing.The trainers are a separate group with the organization. To be fair its almost impossible to get results 2 or even 4 times a week for just 30 minutes no matter how good the trainer may be. Ive had enough bad experiences to wish that I had never signed up for training and they will not break that contract even if there isnt a trainer that you can use. Skip paying for a trainer and get a program online.As I looked back on this I noticed that the name has been changed. It was originally for LA Fitness. I dont know who Esports Fitness is.

I received a membership for a gift. The LA Fitness of Florence, KY is not so great. The equipment needs to be repaired and or updated. As much money as LA Fitness charges for memberships, I would think these issues would not exist. The staff is not interested in helping anyone—without a flash of cash! This gym is dark and gloomy with poor ventilation and a lack of cleanliness. I will continue my membership at the Fort Mitchell branch. It is clean, bright and the equipment has been updated and the staff is friendly.RGHauck

I formerly was a member of LA fitness but moved away so I came in to check out the Florence location. Jeff the general manager was friendly and had a fantastic demeanor and helped me decide to rejoin. The gym was clean, had the latest equipment and bonus a great inside running track great for the winter months for walking or running.

I visited this gym while in town with a friend. I have to say that it is one of the nicest gyms I’ve been to. It’s very clean and has top notch equipment. Jeff the GM was so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend to check this gym out or be a member!

I had some concerns during COVID but the operations manager called me and addressed them. It is much better since it was converted to Esporta LA Fitness. It’s very clean, equipment is working well, showers are fixed and they hired new personal trainers.

Excellent atmosphere and staff. Gym is clean and tidy. Equipment is excellent and state-of-the-art. Best gym Ive been to in years. Also has a number of classes you can take. All around five stars.

No core machines and no vending machines open for water, even know other gyms still sell water.

Jeff was absolutely incredible! I came in to check out the gym and I was blown away by how helpful, accommodating, and professional Jeff was. He gave me a tour of the entire gym, explained how my membership would work, and set me up quickly and efficiently. Jeff needs a raise! Go talk to this gentleman if you are needing a new gym.

Nice place with excellent equipment. I read all the reviews and was concerned. I went back three times and finally joined because of Jeff. Hes a quality guy who does good business. I highly recommend asking for him to get information about the gym. Now after joining he goes a great job with running that location. Im happy he runs that location.

One of the best gyms in the Northern Kentucky area. The staff is incredibly friendly, their facilities are clean and complete, and its a place where students who go to school elsewhere can come back and exercise without any issues. Being a student at the University of Kentucky, this is the first place I contact when Im back home for extended periods of time. Highly recommend it.

Best gym in Northern Kentucky hands down.

I left Crunch fitness because they dont have cycle classes. LA Fitness has cycle classes but finding a bike without problems is an issue. Otherwise, its a nice clean place.

Came through LA Florence traveling for work - met with Jeff and he was more than helpful. Looked around for gyms prior to my visit and I’m glad I picked this place. Definitely visit and disregard any negative ratings you see. Great place.

Visited the gym here and it was clean and super nice. I love all that they have to offer here. Ask for Jeff if you stop in and he will help. He was super helpful too.

Been a member for years and it’s been mostly a good experience but yesterday I talked to a manager? Jeff? Big guy. He was playing with his cell phone but he greeted me nicely..... but when I asked him to verify my height and weight for a weight loss program I’m joining, he turned sour. At first he wasn’t going to do it at all, but he relented and quickly took the measurements. He acted very put out by it.

I love the track and the sauna however, the sauna is always just worm not hot but other than that is a good gym with plenty of space to workout and not feel crowded.

Great place to work out friendly trainers Connor is amazing so is Charlie I just want to warn all the truckers out there that if you are not a member please do not park in the parking lot because they will tow you theyve been having a lot of problems lately

By far the best actual work out gym around. Tons of machines and weights. Lots of rooms and classes. My only complaint is I wish they would expand the hours especially on the weekends. Jeff made it affordable for my whole family. Strongly suggest talking with him.

This location has fine equipment. But there is not even a vending machine to get pre/post workout drinks or even water. Sucks for people who travel as it’s so close to the airport, but Cincinnati is the epicenter of the land of the losers so keep that in mind.

Love coming to this gym. I feel like its my second gym. I work here a d workout here. Best atmosphere to be in. The people are nice and Friendly. So are the staff.

GM Jeff was horrible. I was told our membership was canceled. I then checked my credit card and was still charged the following month. I called to the store and wanted to cancel over the phone after I was told it had already been canceled. He got an attitude and a horrible temper during the phone call. I have seen many reviews about how rude and disrespectful he is and I experienced this first hand. Terrible experience.

This gym is Incredible! My husband and I went to this particular gym while visiting family for the Holidays. We have been to about 6 La Fitnesses in Atlanta and surrounding area and None of them come close to this La Fitness. I wish we had an La like this by us!

This is the coolest gym Ive ever been and it doesnt look like a typical gym, it has pool, basketball and other facilities. I removed one star because their bathrooms need improvement.

Over all okay gym but needs a lot of updating and improvements. Equipment is very old and need of upgrades. A big percentage of equipment is teared or broken down. If a machines is not working it is scheduled for service for months.The gym as a whole needs a good cleaning... it’s kind of gross how groudy the equipment is and for what we are paying for the gym shouldn’t be in the shape that it is. I can see this being a reason people leave due to lack of maintenance. This gym has a lot of potential but falling short in keeping up.

0630 no ones here to open, place is supposed to be open at 0500. Excellent. Not the first time this has happened. Wont be the last either.

Im so happy I joined! The staff and the general manager Jeff are polite and friendly. This gym is clean and they have a great selection of workout machines.

Lots of different workout areas. Womens only room and media room are great. Kids center, pool, track and fitness classes available along with trainers. Always clean but takes forever for broken equipment to get repaired.

This place is just not worth your time i have never been to a place were trust was a problem. never ever ever ever ever pay with card. These people are serious they want money Never ever give your credit card information its a nightmare that they stage when you leave the club. Take precaution on anything they offer. You cannot trust these people dont trust a word. It might be cheaper to be in another club its worth your time to go elsewhere.

The assistant manager Justin showed me all the amenities and benefits of the gym. Great guy and a nice team hes got working here. Theyre got all the equipment I need. Its why I keep coming back.

The GM, Jeff Hawkins was horrible. We were working with a manager at another location for a membership and the only thing holding us back was checking on the Florence club as we would be visiting 2 different clubs. We told him this straight out at the beginning. He then still took us through the entire sales process and then proceeded to completely lose his temper and call us rude for signing up with the original manager we worked with. Arguing with customers as a GM is the reason LA Fitness has a horrible reputation in NKY.

Justin was really helpful in getting me familiar with the gym. There is a large selection of quality equipment and a great atmosphere for personal fitness!

This gym has tanked since it became LA Fitness. Repairs arent being made and the gym is unclean. The professionalism of the staff has declined also. It is a great disappointment that such a nice facility has declined so far, so fast. I will NOT be renewing.

I cant believe this place isnt handicap access able. If you have knee problems and stairs are trouble you cant use over half the equipment.

So i stopped in to check out the facility, got the tour and gave all the necessary information required to do so. After the tour I was pulled into an office and given the sales pitch, which was fine too. I said no, and then they brought in the brass from the next room over to give me a more enthusiastic sales pitch and suggest that i did not know what i was missing out on, which i understand as well...you have to make sales. Aside from the snide remarks and both people getting up and walking out when the sale was realized to be fruitless, here is where i have an issue. Every day now they call my phone and leave a voicemail, most often times the voicemail has nothing but silence. When i answer the calls whoever it is hangs up. I loved the facility and would have became a member had they not been so pushy, but now after all of this there is no way, this was very disappointing.

As a long time memeber, Ive seen a lot of change in the gym. Recently Ive seen some much needed improvements in staff and cleanliness. Happy to say Ill be staying for a long time!

Left and tried out a few more gyms. Wasnt satisfied whatsoever. Came back and was welcomed like I never left. No hidden fees, and even though you pay more monthly than other places, you get what you pay for.

I love the gym and believe its superior to other gyms in the area. However, the hours are shorter on the weekend. Opening later and closing earlier on the weekends is ridiculous and counter intuitive. If this gym was 24 hours, it would not have any competition in my opinion.

(membership bought for me as a gift ) My husband and I really like this gym. I have heard things about the personal trainers not being awesome but we just go in and work out no one ever really bothers us. We also use the kids club and they have a few really awesome girls back there they seem to really watch the kids not just play on their phone which I love. The free weight section is a little intimidating but I just go Upstairs. I also love the media room its dark and I can just do my cardio while watching a movie. Oh and the staff is really friendly everyone always smiles at us I feel welcome

Steals your money, “Operations Manager” who deals with cancelling your account is NEVER there when needed. Such a poorly run gym. Awesome location and facility, poor management and staff. Ridiculous.

Decent selection of equipment (when not broken down). Guys locker room needs a major overhaul. Lockers have been missing shelves or broke doors for months now. All the treadmills need to be updated badly. Honestly the place could stand to be closed for 2 days and have a good top scrubbing/cleaning in every inch of the building. Pool is smaller then the one on buttermilk pike and it’s normally clean but cold. The big windows upstairs is nice but needs more organization of equipment. They should really get rid of racquetball courts and move indoor theater downstairs and expand personal training area upstairs.

Consistently finds the Worst employees ever. Not sure where they find these kids, but someone needs to give them some lessons in manners. 99% of the time they won’t even look up off their phones to acknowledge you when you walk in. I even brought this up to one of the sales guys, and he couldn’t have cared less. Who is in charge of this place? Maybe less time on the phones and more time trying to figure out why the locker room smells like a foot? The weights and machines work most of the time. At least they finally got a handle on that

Its a clean gym with nice staff. The only thing I wish theyd do is stay open 24 hours. Some days I work 12 hour days and Id just like to go to the gym afterwards and blow off some steam at midnight but I cant. For how much you pay, they could at least be open 24 hours. Their weekend hours are the oddest hours as well.They wouldnt have any competition if they were open 24 hours. Again, good gym just odd hours.
