My first time bringing my pets here. Everywhere was closed and I needed assistance. Dr. Rhodes and staff were phenomenal. I’m very pleased with the service I received. The price was good and the wait was just like waiting at any other doctor office or emergency room so nooo biggie. Thank you all for the service and compassion and the $2.60 (the great nurse we had)

So glad they were available for Sully our Beagle. They had a busy night with a lot of major emergency’s some pets and owners weren’t as lucky and fortunate as us. Want to thank the entire staff for all they did. Highly recommended!

Thursday evening we had to take our 13 year old lab to the emergency hospital and unfortunately received a bad diagnosis for our girl. The staff and the veterinarian were just so kind and thoughtful to both us and our Bella. Unfortunately we had to put her down the following day at our family vet. I received a call from the animal hospital tonight asking me how we made out with Bella and to see how she was. That small gesture meant a lot to me. We certainly appreciate everything they did for us!

I took my German Shepherd there because he was having trouble walking. They took some X-rays and a blood test to make sure they could give him pain meds. Didn’t really get any answers about the problem. The vet was friendly and staff was nice but they are really over priced.. I got there at 8:30 and sat in my car until after 11pm. I was charged 454 and didn’t get the problem solved at all. I will not be going back there. The pain med shot got him through the night but that’s way to much money for one night of comfort. Not trying to be rude just being honest. But the staff was nice and the vet was too.

Ive brought my Rottweiler here twice! Ive seen some folks complain about prices and times but considering theyre an emergency hospital with walk-ins, dealing with COVID, and theyre charging you for their expertise in being an emergency hospital I think theyre great. The techs and vets are all great, keep me well informed, and they call a couple days later to check in to see how Bait is doing.

I met the staff here under unfortunate circumstances but they were very nice and caring for our poor poodle. He ended up having to be euthanized due to various issues which were no fault of the staff here. I want to thank them for being so understanding and kind through the process as it was so unexpected that neither myself or my wife were prepared for what had to happen. Owners are required to wait in the car due to covid regulations, and I also assume they are rightfully concerned about who might wander in at 3am on a Saturday way out where theyre located. I hope I dont get anyone in trouble for breaking a rule or something but once the decision was made I was allowed inside to sit with our boy and say goodbye as well as be by his side for the procedure until he was gone. Both the technician and doctor were getting emotional along with me because I was very distraught. They handled everything professionally and I couldnt have asked for better treatment for myself or our dog.Thank you again for being there and supporting us when we needed it.

Edit: the Dr was super considerate and talked us through everything. He ran a bunch of tests and did everything he could to help. Im glad our puppy is on his way to recovery. Its a shame that our first impression of this place was so bad. I hope they take this criticism and apply more consideration and compassion on the initial meet.Really glad to know that the only emergency vet in town doesnt care about helping our puppy. The vet tech is absolutely rude and inconsiderate of our situation. They made us wait outside so long just to fill out some paperwork. Girl came back outside laughing and said, sorry for the wait I got held up. Like this was all fun and games for her. I asked why the wait was so long if this was an emergency service and she got an attitude and walked back inside to get another tech to handle our situation. Very unprofessional. You guys need to do better. Its an emergency 24 hr vet for a reason. Not saying they dont have other pets to take care of too but we felt like ours wasnt important enough to help right away.

Edit 2: super overpriced. Was quoted $3000 on a perennial urithrostomy surgery. My vet did it for $300. Save thousands by not going here.Edit: I was able to get in contact with a super helpful manager who resolve my issue. I am thankful for the crew on shift for saving my cats life.I would give 0 stars if I could. Not only are the techs rude, but the lack of communication is outstandingly unprofessional. I brought my cat in at 1pm on Saturday per my vet and was told a 48 hour hold was necessary. 48 hours would be 1pm on Monday. I received a call at 9:00 am saying I was supposed to pick him up by 8:00am and to call back. First of all, this was NEVER verbally communicated by any staff. Second, if i am paying for a 48 hour service, I will receive that service. Now, at 9:30am I am unable to get in contact with ANYONE, although I was supposed to call ASAP. After the horror stories of misdiagnosis and the mistreatment that I have received here i will never recommend this place to anyone. The convenience of being open when others arent isnt worth dealing with these people. Its definitely worth driving to Columbia for better service. Also, I still dont know whats going on with my poor kitty and no staff will respond. Furthermore, I called two days ago to let them know which number was the primary phone number as i dont receive calls at home on the other. I was told it would be properly communicated. Apparently thats not true because they called the secondary number first then waited an additional thirty minutes before calling the primary.

I had to use their services for the first time Easter morning when of course my regular vet was closed. The customer service here is great and they were able to see me right away, just told me to show up and theyd help. They were all very kind and because of covid I couldnt go in but the doctor called me on my cell while he was with my cat to give me an update. Its comforting to know they are here during after hours/holidays.

The people that work here were awesome, our Shepherd got bit by a rattlesnake and even though we did not have all the money that they wanted up front they started working on him because they knew how much we loved him and we are so grateful to them for that. They did such a great job on our Shepherd Sarge he runs around now like nothing ever happened to him I would recommend them to anybody.

If you love your furrbaby and youre seeking emergency medical care for them youre already nervous and worried. Everyone I spoke with was kind, patient and didnt mind talking to me and explaining details of what we needed to be done. I thought my dog had an eye injury but they werent 100% sure thats what it was, they found she had a fever, and with my permission first run some tests to be sure. They did nothing without letting me know first. They were so sweet to my baby and let me know how she was every time we spoke. For the negative reviews, its an ER for animals, youre going to have a wait, and on top of that everyone is short staffed right now. We need to remember to be kind to these people working to save our fur babies. A little wait to make sure they are okay and properly cared for is worth it. I will definitely recommend to anyone needing emergency services for their animals. I was so relieved at the level of professionalism and kindness towards me and my dog. Thank you for taking care of my Meeko and her worried rambling mama :)

Absoutely WORST care ever!!!! Most obnoxious uncaring vet I have ever met!! My friends dog could not walk and we sat in car for over an hour before she was even seen. Arrived around 7 and we were last to leave after midnight.....took the dog home in worse shape than we took her in . They are taking her to see her own vet this morning, thankfully she made it through the night...Just because she a little overweight , supposedly the cause of her problems...she was fine until she went out to potty...literally within minutes she was unable to walk and was bleeding ....Less than ) stars for this place!!!

This animal hospital probably saved my my sweet dog’s life after fighting off a serious case of what was probably botulism where my dog lost the use of her four legs for a week. Dr. Lucious and his staff are awesome and very empathetic with pets and clients!!!

So, Im from NJ and was skeptical cause the place is in a desolate/industrial area. BUT they good care of my baby who needed wound care. Not overly priced, and they were pretty quick with everything. I mean its only like $45 more than a regular vet exam. Not worth waiting for that amount of $$. Very nice, friendly staff even though I was in a frustrated/anxious mood!

I took my dog here with a gun shot wound and the staff was so helpful and caring. They all went above and beyond to care for him. Dr. Lucius came out to our car and answered our questions and concerns every step of the way. I am so grateful for the care they gave to Maximus. He is now on the road to recovery.
