I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hummel and his team of professionals. He is one of the best orthopedic surgeons when dealing with knee and hip replacement. We had a very successful right knee replacement but the left one a year later was a challenge. The knee got infected and Dr. Hummel and his team worked feverishly to save my leg and more than likely my life. It took 8 months and 3 additional surgeries but my knee was again useable and I was back to work. During this time period my wife and I had put this team through its paces at times not being nice. They never once got upset with us or treated us unprofessionally. Dr. Hummel took this so personally I actually felt bad for him. I can’t thank this man enough for his hard work and compassion and for saving my life.

Dr Hummel is a very skillful orthopaedic surgeon. I was very pleased with the precision of the surgical scar. Recovery proceeded in accordance with expectations.

Dr Hummel and his team were great. They were very thorough and caring about me. I wasnt nervous at all , I knew I was in great handsI was up an walking after hip surgery and I havent had any problems its been 10 days since surgery. Dr.Hummel was so kind and understanding. I was very nervous as I had put off getting a appointment with Dr. Hummel for way to long. He was so knowledgeable about hip replacement that he put my mind at ease the first 15 minutes. Iwas hurt badly when I was a teenager my back was broke in 7 places just to mention a few of my injuries. We talked about all those old injuries and how wed make everything work out so Id feel like a new person. He said he couldnt believe I wasnt in a wheelchair or at least using a walker he had seen people with hips that werent nearly as bad as mine in a wheelchair most of the time. I wish I would have gone to see him 3 years ago instead of waiting all time. If you hip or knees are bothering you PLEASE go see Dr.Hummel. There are other things they can do besides surgery. Ive even had a few people !stop and ask me if my hip was hurting me and when I said it was killing me they said you need to go see Dr.Hummel!!!

Dr. Hummel and his asst. made me feel very comfortable with the knee replacement procedure. They were a wealth of information. I am actually looking forward to the replacement.

I Had my right knee replaced on April 27, 2021 and three weeks out my knee is doing great. The physical therapist are awesome. Dr.Hummel says I am right where I should be and my knee is working as it should.

I met Dr. Hummel as a referral from a friend who also had his knee replaced. Dr. Hummel was very friendly, he answered all of my questions. I feel comfortable in my decision for my upcoming surgery .
