This hospital was responsible for the malpractice that lead to my fathers death. They allowed my father, who had been dying by aschemic bowl, to suffer writhing in a bed as they gave him 4 ibprofen while his lower intestine had a blood clot leading to the organ failing and going necrotic while neglecting to take any of the warning signs of aschemic bowl seriously and ordering any of the tests which could have detected the condition before hand. If God is real I genuinely hope everyone working at this hospital burns for causing an 11 year old me to grow up without his father.

I recently had a visit with Dr. Joseph Vonderbrink, from Physicians in Primary Care. I had an ear infection and it was taken care of promptly by Dr. Vonderbrink in a professional manner.I was impressed with how Dr. Vonderbrink answered a number of questions about my ear and the medication prescribed, but also questions I had about the Covid Vaccine. He was very confident in his research and shared stats on the pluses of the vaccine.I am scheduled to have my second vaccine today, thanks to the current information Dr. Vonderbrink conveyed. Two things were accomplished during my visit. My ear infection was addressed and my questions about the second Covid Vaccine were answered. I left very pleased with the visit, as well as the professionalism shown.

Dr. Michael Duncan probably gave me the best experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. He listened to me, understood my holistic preferences and guided me the best way he could by making our plan a teamwork effort. Seriously, felt so safe a happy with him. I’m so glad I met him. Thank you so much!

Edit 6/12/21: The St. Elizabeths Billing department back in February saw my calls and decided to review the claim and came to the conclusion that they did in fact miscode the office visit, reverting it from a code 99204 to a 99202. I had to contact them again to get a refund which reduced the charge from $489 to $345 (with insurance, from $98.03 to $43.85) in June. I added one more star to my original review for them going out of their way to correct the mistake 3 months later.I went in for an annual physical exam. At the end of the process, I mentioned I have a light brown spot on my arm. The doctor looked at it for about thirty seconds and gave me a diagnosis of tinea versicolor (a common fungal infection of the skin) and gave me a prescription for clotrimazole (OTC name of Lotrimin AF used for common fungal infections e.g., foot fungus). I mentioned I have already used clotrimazole before but the doctors response was I must have not used it long enough for the treatment to work. I was then given a referral to a dermatologist if my condition did not improve. Later, I was billed $489 (before insurance, $98.03 after) for the new office visit and diagnosis. The new office visit/diagnosis addition being an extra cost with the annual exam due the question I asked, but that addition seems fine barring the price. Thinking this must be a mistake in medical coding I called the billing department. The billing department gave me the explanation that the doctor determined my diagnosis was a CPT code 99204 or problems of medium or high severity, medium complexity with a comprehensive examination. I asked why and was given it is up to the doctor to determine the code and thus the price of the diagnosis without any accountability. The billing offered a review of the code by the same people who determined it in the first place although they also said I was not even coded the highest level (possibly an indirect threat but maybe they did not think of it as such). I was basically left without any impartial mechanism to dispute the diagnosis charge after speaking with my insurance and provider. I talked to family, friends, and other doctors about the charge (thinking maybe this is just the high cost of the US medical system), the consensus being I was price gouged for a simple diagnosis. To add insult to injury, the medicine recommendation is ineffective and now I have to seek another doctor for my needs. I only gave a higher rating due to the actual visit being standard. Hopefully my experience is an isolated incident (looking at the many positive, but blank reviews), but I cannot in good faith recommend the St. Elizabeth network to anyone.

Very unprofessional, was 5 min late although they had told me I could be 15 min late, after checking in and waiting 5 min they came out and told my wife and I they the doctor had moved on and I had to reschedule I asked who and they told me that it was because I was late . Although it was only 5 min late .. I was not given the option of waiting for another opening, was also not refunded my copay but I believe that since it was a Saturday and then were ready to leave although my appointment was at 11:15 and it was only 1125 at this point . Gather place was empty and they just wanted to leave …

I have been a patient of Dr.Dorsch for 10 years and now my entire family sees him. We truly couldn’t have a more caring health care provider. The medical assistants and office staff have always been pleasant as well. On occasion, We have seen other providers in the office and the experiences have been good. This St.E makes my family comfortable going to the doctor, couldn’t ask for more.

I have a legitimate billing problem with the billing department, talked to Medical Mutual, they agreed and directed me to call and get it straightened out, called billing department and explained it to them, she laughed at me and basically told me she sees no problem, she is wrong Medical Mutual told me there is.

Wish I could leave a star-less review!!AWFUL. My father had surgery at St. Elizabeth Hospital and was asked to followup with the physician. The appointment the hospital was supposed to schedule asap, was never scheduled, We had to call. We arrived early, as asked, at 1:40 for his 2:15 appointment. 20 minutes went by and MORE THAN A DOZEN people came in, were seen, and LEFT before my father got called back. We got to talking to the other patients and TWO other people were scheduled to see the same Dr and the same time. We confronted the receptionist who did not apologize, but did acknowledge what they called double booking. My dad was FINALLY called back at 2:30, they swiftly too him for an xrayx and he has been sitting, still unseen by the amazing Dr. Worley who can see 3 patients at once. Hes been back there for almost an hour.If we were late for our appointment, wed be penalized; lose our time and be charged for the missed time. Im from NC, if this happened there, my Dr would have called and rescheduled me; its called courtesy, you know, like how the Dr asks YOU to show up early for your appointment??????
